Introduction. Periodontal tissue disease is one of the most common dental pathologies, which among young people occurs with a frequency of 60% to 99%. Therefore, the problem of finding new links in the pathogenesis, the reasons for the growing prevalence of periodontal disease, as well as effective methods for its early diagnosis and prevention, is relevant. Objectives. Establish the possibility of using individual stomatological and psychophysiological features to predict the development of periodontal disease. Materials and methods. 156 students aged 18-23 years old without systemic diseases were surveyed for some features of oral hygiene and nutrition. Also the study subjects underwent a dental examination, psychological testing and the assessment of individual typological features of higher nervous activity and autonomous regulation. The model for statistical prediction were designed using neural networks. Results. Two neural networks were designed with the best predictors among dental history and examination, psychological testing, parameters of higher nervous activity and heart rate variability analysis. The diagnostic sensitivity of the first prognostic model was 83.33 % and the specificity was 92.31 %. The second model was characterized by 90.00 % sensitivity and 78.57 % specificity. Conclusion. The method of modeling using neural networks based on the index assessment of the condition of teeth hard tissues, the level of oral hygiene and the evaluation of psychophysiological features can effectively predict the risk of periodontal disease development in young people

This publication discusses the use of psycholinguistic tools in organizational research. The example of a comprehensive study of managerial culture in a business organization has been considered, the pilot part of which was a problem-targeted survey of respondents among top managers. The respective textual results were reduced to lemmas and their frequency analysis was carried out. The predominant n-grams in the texts were also identified. These categories were used to study and assess the discursive field of managerial culture in the organization. The results of cross-analysis of discourses became the basis for the development of a hypothesis regarding the leadership deficit among the managers of the organization, the causes and consequences of this deficit. The formulated assumptions were confirmed by the results of the main part of the study, which included differential psychological testing and individual interviews with respondents.

This article is a clinical case study based on an experience report, with the aim of reporting the experience of interventional psychodiagnosis with an individual with symptoms of heteroaggression and intrusive thoughts. The case study methodology was based on the experience of the Basic Supervised Internship in Psychology and Assessment and Diagnosis Processes, the procedures performed were: reception, observation, listening, psychological interview (semi-structured), psychological testing - HTP Test (Home - tree - person), for personality assessment, STAXI - 2 (Anger Expression Inventory as State and Trait), for assessment of anger expression and feedback interview. It is concluded that the interventional psychodiagnostic process resulted in an improvement in the symptoms, providing, from the operations, that facilitated the expression of feelings and emotions, allowing reflection, self-perception and awareness of invasive thoughts and heteroaggression, enabling access to difficulties experienced and thus mobilize psychic resources for the change stage.

The aim of the study: to consider the main personality types, indicators of personal and situational anxiety in military personnel of fixed-term and contractual service, depending on the duration of their stay in the Arctic region, and also to assess the influence of the psychological characteristics of military personnel on the processes of adaptation to the conditions of the Far North.Materials and methods. Psychological testing was carried out on 249 male servicemen aged 18-31 years (average age 21.5±4.8 years) who served in the Far North (158 people) and in the Western Military District (91 people). Testing was carried out at the beginning of the service, as well as 6 months after the start of service in various regions. To study personality typology, the Abbreviated Multifactorial Questionnaire for Personality Research (SMOL) and the Luscher test were used, and the Spielberger-Khanin test was used to assess personal and situational anxiety. Results and discussion. The survey showed predominantly asthenoneurotic and epileptoid-excitable personality types among conscripts, which was combined with high rates of personal and situational anxiety. The six-month period of service in the Far North for conscripts was not accompanied by a significant decrease in situational anxiety, which may indicate a low potential for psychological adaptation to the harsh conditions of service in the polar latitudes. And, on the contrary, among contract servicemen, a 6-month service in the Arctic led to an almost complete return of the indicators of situational anxiety to the values of a temperate climate. Thus, the preferential direction for service in the Arctic for contract servicemen will speed up the adaptation process. To assess the dynamics of situational anxiety during service in the Arctic region, it is justified to conduct psychological testing with a frequency of 6 months, which will identify servicemen with low adaptive potential.

n every country, the government strives to ensure that police forces are professionally prepared to carry out their tasks. This concerns equipping police officers with certain knowledge and skills, as well as supporting their performance with the most advanced technologies. One of the most important areas of safety where police have to be professionally prepared is road traffic safety. Appreciating their role, traffic police constitute a separate force in many countries. In Poland, this force is included in the uniformed branch, although its tasks do not differ from the tasks of other forces of this type worldwide. In 2015, the National Police Chief confirmed that it is necessary to support safety in traffic with the help of science. It was demonstrated through accepting the R&D project Development of an Assistance System for Psychological Testing of Police Drivers, no. DOB-BIO7/20/01/2015, realised in a science consortium funded by the National Centre for Research and Development in the amount of PLN 5 546,452.00 in a 7/2014 competition for the realisation of R&D projects in aid of the defence and security of the country. The system developed within the project is designed to serve research concerning subordinate forces, and those supervised by the Minister for Internal Affairs. The aim of this article is to present the existing results of the research related to creating an assistance system for psychological testing of police drivers, including the drivers of police emergency vehicles, in compliance with the current legislation in force in Poland. The system will be implemented as an IT network-based technology that enables direct cooperation with the Police Data Transmission Network (PSTD) (a central server, available from any PSTD-accessible workstation), which is a database designed to independently and safely acquire and store data. The system should allow research without the necessity of using additional equipment other than a properly configured computer. Simultaneously, the system is planned to include a device that calibrates the methodology of measuring driver reaction times. The system should allow for an assessment of intellectual fitness, psychomotor efficiency, and personality.

Abstract The present study is devoted to the functional states’ identification and description as the psychological safety marker of offshore oil-producing platform workers with the fly-in-fly-out work organization. This will allow identifying an employee's risk group with low psychological safety for the development of measures to improve it, preserve their health and work efficiency. The research was carried out by means of a scientific expedition in April 2019 during the entire fly-in-fly-out visit to the offshore ice- resistant platform in the Caspian Sea. It was attended by 50 employees (average age 36.17 ± 1.064, average work experience on a fly-in-fly-out basis 7.97 ± 0.839, fly-in-fly-out period - 14 days). Research methods are: 1) instrumental psychophysiological methods for assessing the state on the devices «AngioScan» (stress level) and «Psychophysiologist» (operator performance, functional state level, functional reserves level); 2) psychological testing methods are M. Luscher's color test and the "Well-being. Activity. Insistence" questioning. Psychological testing of employee's personality traits. Statistical analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and multivariate methods using the SPSS 23.00 software package. As the study result, all employees were divided into two large groups according to functional states indicators: 1) a group with high performance, since these employees have optimal speed, high quality work performance and good health; 2) a group with low performance, because with a favorable general state of health and the performing tasks speed, employees show a low performance. The relationship between the two groups oil-producing platform employees’ subjective characteristics of efficiency and safety studied. It was found that employees with high performance are adapted to the negative environment impact and are characterized by high psychological safety. The second group representatives with low performance give higher assessments of the professional situations danger and are not satisfied with the work schedule, and therefore belong to the risk group and require additional measures to ensure psychological safety. Personal markers of attribution to groups with different efficiency are independence, cyclothymic character accentuation type, planning and the general level of subjective control.
