This article deals with an economic order quantity inventory model of imperfect items under non-random uncertain demand. Here we consider the customers screen the imperfect items during the selling period. After a certain period of time, the imperfect items are sold at a discounted price. We split the model into three cases, assuming that the demand rate increases, decreases, and is constant in the discount period. Firstly, we solve the crisp model, and then the model is converted into a fuzzy environment. Here we consider the dense fuzzy, parabolic fuzzy, degree of fuzziness and cloudy fuzzy for a comparative study. The basic novelty of this paper is that a computer-based algorithm and flow chart have been given for the solution of the proposed model. Finally, sensitivity analysis and graphical illustration have been given to check the validity of the model.

For maintaining the horticultural generation, Land Selection Investigation (LSI) is essential. Multi-criteria basic leadership systems like positioning, rating, and so on are utilized for reasonableness examination. In the field of farming sciences, the Fuzzy Logic (FL) strategy has been effectively used to take care of numerous issues. Fuzzy with AHP is a Hybrid Fuzzy Logic (HFL) methodology. The policies Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), Fuzzy Numbers, Fuzzy Degree Investigation, Alpha Cut, and Lambda capacity are associated with it. As expressed, the procedure of necessary leadership includes a scope of criteria and a considerable measure of master learning and decisions. The components result from impacts extraordinarily. The capacity of three methods to demonstrate the affectability of the necessary leadership procedure is researched. Alpha cut and lambda esteem give and encourage considerable affectability investigation. All techniques are actualized to examine the reasonableness of the crop in the Indian nation. This study proposes a new model and approach for solving a realistic extension of the Time-Dependent Traveling Salesman Problem, by using the concept of distance between interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. For this purpose, we developed an interval-valued fuzzy degree repository based on the relations between rush hour periods and traffic regions in the “city center areas”, and then we utilized the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted arithmetic average to aggregate fuzzy information to be able to quantify the delay in any given trip between two nodes (cities). The proposed method is illustrated by a simple numerical example.

Multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) refers to the decision making in the limited or infinite set of conflicting schemes. At present, the general method is to obtain the weight coefficients of each scheme based on different criteria through the expert questionnaire survey, and then use the Dempster–Shafer Evidence Theory (D-S theory) to model all schemes into a complete identification framework to generate the corresponding basic probability assignment (BPA). The scheme with the highest belief value is then chosen. In the above process, using different methods to determine the weight coefficient will have different effects on the final selection of alternatives. To reduce the uncertainty caused by subjectively determining the weight coefficients of different criteria and further improve the level of multi-criteria decision-making, this paper combines negation of probability distribution with evidence theory and proposes a weights-determining method in MCDM based on negation of probability distribution. Through the quantitative evaluation of the fuzzy degree of the criterion, the uncertainty caused by human subjective factors is reduced, and the subjective error is corrected to a certain extent.

The paper presents a mathematical framework for approximate geometric reasoning with extended objects in the context of Geography, in which all entities and their relationships are described by human language. These entities could be labelled by commonly used names of landmarks, water areas, and so forth. Unlike single points that are given in Cartesian coordinates, these geographic entities are extended in space and often loosely defined, but people easily perform spatial reasoning with extended geographic objects “as if they were points.” Unfortunately, up to date, geographic information systems (GIS) miss the capability of geometric reasoning with extended objects. The aim of the paper is to present a mathematical apparatus for approximate geometric reasoning with extended objects that is usable in GIS. In the paper we discuss the fuzzy logic (Aliev and Tserkovny, 2011) as a reasoning system for geometry of extended objects, as well as a basis for fuzzification of the axioms of incidence geometry. The same fuzzy logic was used for fuzzification of Euclid’s first postulate. Fuzzy equivalence relation “extended lines sameness” is introduced. For its approximation we also utilize a fuzzy conditional inference, which is based on proposed fuzzy “degree of indiscernibility” and “discernibility measure” of extended points.

At present P2P is widely applied on the Internet. But it still has a safety hazard because of the special feature of dynamic and anonymity of P2P.This paper designs a model of P2P trust based on fuzzy degree of nodes' credit. It computes the fuzzy degree of nodes' credit according to the historic records and the theory of fuzzy mathematics, and the result is used as the basis of choice of P2P transaction. The fuzzy degree of nodes' credit will be increased and decreased according to the behavior of the node, establishing the dynamic and reasonable mechanism of rewards and punishment. Experimental results show that the model designed in this paper has a better performance in the parts of trade success rate and network load.
