This study aims to develop assessment questions or instruments to measure students' numeration literacy skills integrated with the Islamic context. The research was conducted through 4 stages: initial assessment, design, test making, and a study of problem items then limited trials and analysis. The instruments used include algebra and statistics by taking the Islamic context of zakat material. Experts validated the instrument, and the validation results were analyzed using Aiken's formula. The instrument was also tested online and limited to 22 students of grade 8 MTsN 1 Surabaya. The test results were analyzed using product-moment correlation to determine its empirical validity and used alpha Cronbach to determine its reliability. The results showed that the 6 questions developed are valid with a validity value of 0.783. This result is reinforced by empirical validity results that show that the instruments developed are valid in terms of material/content, construct, and language. The reliability test results using alpha Cronbach obtained the reliability coefficient is 0.72. The instrument developed in this research is expected to be one of the references of students in practicing their numeracy skills and preparing to face national assessments by the Ministry of Education. Because it was found in this study that students have difficulty answering the question of numeration literacy with Islamic context. This case shows that students' numeration literacy skills are still low.

Objectives: Enuresis or bedwetting is considered to be an underreported ADR of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). This study assesses the incidence and comparative rate of occurrence of enuresis in children with epilepsy who are on AEDs treatment such as sodium valproate (SV); carbamazepine and levetiracetam (LEV). Methods: The study was conducted with a sample size of 32 patients. Both inpatients and outpatients between the age group >5–18 years of age previously diagnosed with epilepsy that is on monotherapy and polytherapy with SV or carbamazepine or LEV were included in the study. Patients with urinary complications or urogenital abnormalities past 3 months before admission were excluded from the study. Assessment of enuresis was done based on a questionnaire prepared from NICE guidelines and analyzed using SPSS software version 20. Results: Of 44 patients who were included in the study, only 34 came for review. Analysis of the questionnaire showed the occurrence of enuresis in 12 patients. Drugs prescribed versus assessment questions showed potent significance with eight questions; hence the hypothesis that the prescribed drugs can cause enuresis can be taken into consideration. The rate of occurrence of enuresis was analyzed in all the drugs with their respective doses, but the significant values were found only for SV 200 mg. Conclusion: This study shows the possibility of enuresis in LEV and SV treatment with a significant difference in SV. Furthermore, it showed a relation between the duration of treatment and the occurrence of enuresis.

Abstract Background Probiotics are increasingly being used in healthcare. As the number of probiotic options and their potential uses increase, it has become more challenging to make an informed selection for a given disease state. This study assessed the ability of digital education to improve Infectious Disease (ID) specialists’ knowledge regarding the use of probiotics in preventing Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) and antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD). Methods A CME/ABIM MOC certified, educational program featuring a panel of 3 expert ID faculty was developed. The program sought to clarify the role of different probiotic strains in the prevention or treatment of different disease states. Educational effectiveness was assessed with a repeated-pairs pre-/post-assessment study design; each individual served as his/her own control. A chi-square test assessed changes pre- to post-assessment. P values < 0.05 are statistically significant. Effect sizes were evaluated using Cramer’s V (< 0.05 modest; 0.06-0.15 noticeable effect; 0.16-0.26 considerable effect; > 0.26 extensive effect). The activity launched on a website dedicated to continuous professional development. Data for this matched-learner analysis were collected through 09/09/20. Results To date, 7122 HCPs, including 5068 physicians, have participated in the activity. Data from the subset of ID specialists (n=235) who answered all pre-/post-assessment questions during the initial study period were analyzed. Following activity participation, significant improvements were observed in the proportion of ID specialists who answered assessment questions correctly (47% pre vs 69% post; P < .0001; V=.22). Improvements were also observed in several specific areas of assessment (Table) and confidence in their ability to select a probiotic-based on strain- and disease-specific efficacy (36% increase). Conclusion Participation in this online educational program significantly improved ID specialists’ understanding of the interplay between strain- and disease-specificity in the context of probiotics. These findings highlight the potential for well-designed online education to positively impact physicians’ knowledge and confidence Disclosures All Authors: No reported disclosures

The research design used in the analysis of the quality of the multiple choice items Final Assessment of the odd semester class VI Theme 1 MI MHM Banjarsari Academic Year 2019/2020 is quantitative descriptive. Data collection in this study used document analysis method. The source of the data of this study was the question sheets and answer sheets of students participating in the Odd End Semester Assessment (PAS) of Class VI Theme 1 MI MHM Banjarsari. Calculation of the level of difficulty, different power, the effectiveness of deceit, the validity and reliability of the instrument in this study using the Anates V 0.4 program. The results of the research that have been done show that the quality of the final semester semester 1 question items in MI MHM Banjarsari in 2019/2020 from a total of 35 multiple choice questions viewed from the difficulty level obtained as many as 10 items (28.57%) with the difficulty level of questions in very easy category, 7 items (20%) in the easy category, 14 items (40%) in the medium category, 3 items (8.57%) in the difficult category, and 1 item (2.86%) in the very difficult category. Judging from the different power of the final semester assessment questions, theme 1 found 5 items (14.29%) in the very bad category, 13 items (37.14%) in the bad category, 6 items (17.14%) in the category enough, 10 items (28.57%) in the good category, and 1 item (2.86%) in the very good category. Judging from the deception of answers to the odd semester final assessment questions, there were 3 questions (8.57% in the very bad category, 6 questions (17.14%) in the bad category, 4 questions (11.48%) in the good category, and 22 questions (62.86%) in the very good category Judging from the validity of the odd semester final evaluation questions theme 1 obtained valid questions (significant / very significant) of 15 questions (42.86%) and for invalid questions a total of 20 questions (57.14%) In terms of reliability, it was obtained 0.81. Thus it can be concluded that the quality of the items can be said to be less good. The goal of the Databases for Many Majors project is to engage a broad audience in understanding fundamental database concepts using visualizations with color and visual cues to present these topics to students across many disciplines. There are three visualizations: introducing relational databases, querying, and design. A unique feature of these learning tools is the ability for instructors in diverse disciplines to customize the content of the visualization’s example data, supporting text, and formative assessment questions to promote relevance to their students. This paper presents a study on the impact of the customized introduction to relational databases visualization on both conceptual learning and attitudes towards databases. The assessment was performed in three different courses across two universities. The evaluation shows that learning outcomes are met with any visualization, which appears to be counter to expectations. However, students using a visualization customized to the course context had more positive attitudes and beliefs towards the usefulness of databases than the control group.
