This study aims to develop assessment questions or instruments to measure students' numeration literacy skills integrated with the Islamic context. The research was conducted through 4 stages: initial assessment, design, test making, and a study of problem items then limited trials and analysis. The instruments used include algebra and statistics by taking the Islamic context of zakat material. Experts validated the instrument, and the validation results were analyzed using Aiken's formula. The instrument was also tested online and limited to 22 students of grade 8 MTsN 1 Surabaya. The test results were analyzed using product-moment correlation to determine its empirical validity and used alpha Cronbach to determine its reliability. The results showed that the 6 questions developed are valid with a validity value of 0.783. This result is reinforced by empirical validity results that show that the instruments developed are valid in terms of material/content, construct, and language. The reliability test results using alpha Cronbach obtained the reliability coefficient is 0.72. The instrument developed in this research is expected to be one of the references of students in practicing their numeracy skills and preparing to face national assessments by the Ministry of Education. Because it was found in this study that students have difficulty answering the question of numeration literacy with Islamic context. This case shows that students' numeration literacy skills are still low.

Technology in education is a primary need for every individual. The learning process in school was not spared from technology. So that teachers and learners need to understand and proficient in using technology, both during the learning process and in everyday life. So far, literacy skills in Indonesia is still very low. This is indicated by PISA data, in 2009 Indonesian students are ranked 57th with a score of 295 (The average score on OECD is 402), while in 2012 Indonesian students are ranked 64th with a score of 396 (The average score on OECD is 496). The Ministry of Education and Culture developed Gerakan Literasi Sekolah to support the need for the above problems. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the extent of students' technological literacy profiles in the city of Bandung. The method used is giving questionnaires to students. With this research is expected to increase the ability of technology literacy in learning to support the needs of science in the future

The report is devoted to the problem of reading with understanding in the fourth grade. The problem of the levels of reading literacy of elementary school pupils is also affected by international systems for assessing their achievements worldwide - PISA and PIRLS. The worrying results show that Bulgaria occupies one of the last places of literacy in the charts of the two international systems, which implies the necessity of introducing changes in the educational system. For this reason, the National External Assessment at the end of the 4th grade was introduced, based on the level of literacy and reader competence of our students.As a result of yearly tests and many expert studies, we disprove the information originally presented that we are at the bottom of the literacy chart in Europe. During the last few years, Bulgarian students have not only improved their literacy skills, but they have also been among the successful participants in national reading competitions, the project initiatives organized by the Ministry of Education and Science and the clubs for readership interests of the local libraries .Our pupils work on learning projects both in school time and in extracurricular activities that teachers place on their own. Design works are not only a pleasant activity for learners, but also a way of enriching the child's personality, building useful competencies and stimulating the development of creative activity. Apart from the above, the project activities allow students to share ideas, experiences, interests, teamwork, listen and respect with respect to their classmate's point of view, to communicate as equal partners in the process of project endeavors. Teamwork brings together the class and sets the foundations for a friendly work environment where each team member makes every effort to finalize the project.

This research aims to know the influence of understanding Accounting Information Systems, Leadership Style, Employees Motivation, and Work Discipline in Employees Performance at KC BRI Sidoarjo. The instrument is in the form of google forms to get research data. This research data collection is validity test and reliability test. The hypothesis is that there is an the influence of understanding accounting information systems, leadership style, employees motivation, and work discipline in employees performance. The analytical tool used to test the hypothesis is SPSS version 18. The test results based on the validity test show that all questions on Google Forms are declared valid. While the test results based on the reliability test of all variables, the value of cronbach's alpha > 0,6 means that it is declared reliable and for the results of the Hypothesis Test in the form of T-Statistic and R-Square, it states that there is an influence between understanding accounting information systems, leadership style, employees motivation, and work discipline in employees performance. This is shown from the results of tcount for the variable understanding of the accounting information system (X1) of 2.113, the variable of leadership style (X2) of 2.101, the variable of employees motivation (X3) of 2.114, and the variable of work discipline (X4) of 2.189.

Ministry of Education guidelines for primary teachers increasingly emphasise literacy as social practice, and with growing diversity in schools, the Ministry advocates that teachers may help reduce disparity in achievement by making connections between students’ out-of-school and school literacies. However it may be difficult for teachers to address this due to the Ministry’s expectation of more detailed literacy skills to be acquired by specific levels of schooling, and the expectation of more detailed assessment. This article offers examples of out-of-school literacies from a doctoral study which investigated literacy as social practice in family, church and neighbourhood sites as described by Year 7 and 8 Pasifika students. It raises the question as to whether existing assessment approaches and teacher knowledge are sufficiently broad to encompass literacy as social practice, considering the diverse literacy experiences students bring with them to school.

The research was conducted to determine the characteristics and forms of matter; similarly determine the validity, reliability, as well as the students' response to the measurement results HOT reasoning about TIMSS models to measure student HOT developed. The method used is the research development. Products in the form of multiple choice questions as well as the reasons of the students' answers. Student responses obtained from the questionnaire responses the students after using such a matter. Based on the criteria of due diligence in a very good product. Characteristic of reasoning about TIMSS models which contain components reasoning refers to the TIMSS. About the validity of the overall test results show that the question is valid and feasible to use to measure student HOT. Reliability test results indicate that the matter is reliable and can be used well. Student response after use problems in the excellent category, obtained a percentage of 82.66%. HOT measurement results in the category of students is still low, at SMPN 8 Semarang amounted to 51.54%, SMP Kartika III-2 Semarang amounted to 31.16%, and the MTs NU amounted to 47.68% Ungaran. Problem reasoning models that have been developed decent TIMSS used to measure student HOT.

The reliability of optical sources is strongly dependent on the degradation and device characteristics are critically dependent on temperature. The degradation behaviours and reliability test results for the laser diode device (Sony-DL3148-025) will be presented .These devices are usually highly reliable. The degradation behaviour was exhibited in several aging tests, and device lifetimes were then estimated. The temperature dependence of 0.63?m lasers was studied. An aging test with constant light power operation of 5mW was carried out at 10, 25, 50 and 70°C for 100hours. Lifetimes of the optical sources have greatly improved, and these optical sources can be applied to various types of transmission systems. Within this degradation range, the device life for system application is estimated to be more than 100 h at 70 ºC at a constant power of 5mW.

The downhole oil and gas market is continually pushing for higher reliability at higher temperatures. Satisfying this need requires continuous improvement, driven by failure analysis of both internal testing and field returns. This paper discusses recent lessons learned from on-going tests. Results of unpowered circuit assembly tests are reviewed. Also, a detailed analysis of separate powered life testing is presented. The internal testing results are further discussed in the context of field return data.

Abstract Objective To explore the experience of early patient adopters who accessed their clinical notes online using the Blue Button feature of the My HealtheVet portal. Methods A web-based survey of VA patient portal users from June 22 to September 15, 2013. Results 33.5% of respondents knew that clinical notes could be viewed, and nearly one in four (23.5%) said that they had viewed their notes at least once. The majority of VA Notes users agreed that accessing their notes will help them to do a better job of taking medications as prescribed (80.1%) and be better prepared for clinic visits (88.6%). Nine out of 10 users agreed that use of visit notes will help them understand their conditions better (91.8%), and better remember the plan for their care (91.9%). In contrast, 87% disagreed that VA Notes will make them worry more, and 88.4% disagreed that access to VA Notes will be more confusing than helpful. Users who had either contacted their provider or healthcare team (11.9%) or planned to (13.5%) primarily wanted to learn more about a health issue, medication, or test results (53.7%). Conclusions Initial assessment of the patient experience within the first 9 months of availability provides evidence that patients both value and benefit from online access to clinical notes. These findings are congruent with OpenNotes study findings on a broader scale. Additional outreach and education is needed to enhance patient awareness. Healthcare professionals should author notes keeping in mind the opportunity patient access presents for enhanced communication.
