Abstract To some people, back-in parking maneuver is a relatively hard thing to do. However, previous studies have proven that back-in parking is safer than head-in parking because when exiting the parking space (back-out) from head-in parking, the driver's field of view is more limited, thus increasing the chance of an accident. This study aims to determine the changes in the driver's viewing frequency on the rear-view mirror, maneuver duration, and degree of difficulty during back-in parking maneuvers. Data collection was obtained from 45 participants who tried to park their cars in a parking space with an angle of 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, each with four different conditions of parking spaces. The driver’s viewing frequency on each rear-view mirror (left, right and center) and maneuver duration were obtained from a dashcam and an external camera recording. The difficulty level for maneuvering was filed according to the driver’s opinion during the experiment for each parking space condition. Based on the data analysis, it was proven that the existence of cars parked on either side of that parking space (obstacles), parking space line signs, and both simultaneously increase the driver’s viewing frequency and maneuver duration when doing back-in parking maneuver, but at the same time, ease the parking maneuver, according to the driver.

PyNeb is a Python package widely used to model emission lines in gaseous nebulae. We take advantage of its object-oriented architecture, class methods, and historical atomic database to structure a practical environment for atomic data assessment. Our aim is to reduce the uncertainties in the parameter space (line ratio diagnostics, electron density and temperature, and ionic abundances) arising from the underlying atomic data by critically selecting the PyNeb default datasets. We evaluate the questioned radiative-rate accuracy of the collisionally excited forbidden lines of the N- and P-like ions (O ii, Ne iv, S ii, Cl iii, and Ar iv), which are used as density diagnostics. With the aid of observed line ratios in the dense NGC 7027 planetary nebula and careful data analysis, we arrive at emissivity ratio uncertainties from the radiative rates within 10%, a considerable improvement over a previously predicted 50%. We also examine the accuracy of an extensive dataset of electron-impact effective collision strengths for the carbon isoelectronic sequence recently published. By estimating the impact of the new data on the pivotal [N ii] and [O iii] temperature diagnostics and by benchmarking the collision strength with a measured resonance position, we question their usefulness in nebular modeling. We confirm that the effective-collision-strength scatter of selected datasets for these two ions does not lead to uncertainties in the temperature diagnostics larger than 10%.

Sinematografi dapat diartikan dengan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang cara menangkap dan menggabungkan gambar menjadi rangkaian gambar yang bercerita. Film adalah produk sinematografi yang memiliki karakteristik terdiri dari beberapa gambar yang digabungkan. Gambar biasanya terdapat komponen yang mampu menunjukkan arti dari gambar tersebut. Salah satu komponennya yaitu visual. Komponen visual ini dapat ditemukan pada setiap gambar, baik itu gambar bergerak maupun gambar tidak bergerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen visual dasar pada film Green Book berdasarkan teori Bruce Block dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Komponen visual dasar yang dianalisis meliputi space, line, shape, tone, color, movement, dan rhythm. Film Green Book dipilih karena menjadi film terbaik yang mendapatkan banyak penghargaan salah satunya Best Pictures pada Academy Award 2019. Film Green Book memiliki genre drama komedi-biografi yang menceritakan tentang persahabatan antara Tony Lip dan Don Shirley yang pada dasarnya memiliki sifat yang berbeda. Sesuai dengan teori yang diungkapkan Bruce Block bahwa komponen visual sangat berpengaruh dalam mengkomunikasikan suasana hati dan emosi.

Interaction of an elastic foundation and structures like beams, plates and frames plays an essential role in investigating soil media in contact and impact mechanics. The solution to this interaction problem is complicated even the foundation is assumed as a linear elastic medium. E. Winkler suggested the fair representation of the foundation in 1867, and then, to bring it closer to reality, an interaction between the spring elements was introduced. In this paper, a relatively simple membrane-spring system is investigated, where an ideal gas is added under or above the membrane. In many cases, this constant pressure in the cavity modifies the solution and accuracy of the approximation is significantly increased. The cases of concentrated normal force and uniform distributed load are examined. The results of elastic half-space line displacements and the membrane displacements are presented.

The presence of green open space in urban area is very important in influencing the condition of human comfort. The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship of green open space to air temperature and human comfort in Yogyakarta. The method used in determining the comfort index is the Temperature Humidity Index (THI) which combines the factor of air temperature and relative humidity. The calculated THI value is obtained from four green open space categories and they are point green open space, line green open space, area green open space, and non-green open space. The result obtained from this research showed that the air temperature in green open space is lower than the air temperature in non-green open space. Green open space has a positive effect in lowering air temperature so the place with the green open space gives more comfortable conditions than the place with non-green open space. The place with more green open space will have lower air temperature and give more comfortable condition. Based on this research, Yogyakarta is included in partly uncomfortable category so addition of green open space is needed.
