A MANET network is made up of wireless nodes which operate without a defined structure, the arrangement of existing devices does not have any ministerial or control entity . the management tasks are carried out by the teams which are in the network, therefore a MANET network is said to be a managed network. As there is no infrastructure, such as, the bandwidth, availability, input error rate, among others, depend exclusively on the behaviour of the network users. This work presents a functional solution, which decreases the energy consumption in MANET networks, implemented using game theories and genetic  algorithms  solution. The evaluation of the pay-as-you-go strategy from the modified prisoner dilemma was shown to be an easy to implement and interpret tool for the network equipment.  The processes of generation, combination and  mutation  of  strategies  demonstrated the in-centive of cooperation in the network, observed in the increase of the average confidence of the nodes, a  very high  value.   The  intervention of the protocol with the  use  of  genetic  algorithms,  demonstrated  ot be  a  form  of  implementation  of  solutions  for problems of multiple agents, the increase in the evaluation of trust of the nodes was observed, which can be interpreted as a convergence of the nodes to cooperate. The results obtained in the simulations carried out show the functioning of the  algorithm implemented and the functionality  of  the  network  after  its  implementation.

Background. The task of building a network with a continuous mode of data transmission for mobile nodes is to build a wireless network and maintain a state of loss of the minimum number of packets during the exchange of information. One of the main problems of MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) network management is their dynamics and the fact that mobile devices are limited in their computing capabilities. There is a problem of traffic routing within MANET networks and the internal hierarchy of transmitters involved in the system. These networks also have problems with bandwidth optimization and power management. Lack of fixed topology introduces new scientific problems, such as network configuration, device search and topology support, as well as special addressing and self-destruction of the network. This task is relevant for data transmission between mobile devices in terms of reconnaissance operations. Objective. The goal of the article is the research of reducing packet delays in nodes during dynamic routing, reducing service traffic and software optimization of data transmission in MANET relative to existing methods. Methods. To achieve this goal, we use computer simulation, statistical and empirical methods. Based on the optimization of dynamic routing using the Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector algorithm, four main indicators are identified: speed of path establishment, message delay in one node, occurrence of loops, the amount of service traffic. To test the proposed method, a graph of twelve vertices simulating a wireless peer-to-peer MANET network is simulated. Testing is performed in more than a hundred iterations. At each iteration, the vertices of the network graph are randomly selected and the data transfer between each vertex of the graph is modeled. Results. The use of the created software provides the analysis of the indicators of the quality of continuous data transmission and network routing by the proposed method. The proposed method shows reducing the amount of office traffic by 15 % and the best results by 5–10 % reduction of delay time within the node and when processing messages. Conclusions. A method is proposed to reduce the delay time within a node that changes its position when processing a message, to reduce the amount of service traffic when transmitting data between nodes in the MANET network. Computer simulation is used to study the proposed method.

The Mobile ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile devices that forms a self-created, self-administered, and self-organized network. It is an infrastructureless network that does not require an existing infrastructure to operate. MANET suits scenarios where a temporary network is needed, such as emergency rescue, the military field, and disaster areas. MANET is an isolated network, and communication is restricted to the participating nodes’ transmission coverage. In order to increase its connectivity and its application scope, however, MANET requires integration with other networks, forming a hybrid MANET. The integration of MANET and IP networks raises many challenges and issues. Mobility management is one of the main challenges. Traditional mobility management protocols provide seamless mobility in a single hop infrastructure network. Consequently, mobile nodes can maintain their global connectivity without interrupting the ongoing sessions. Mobility management becomes more challenging in a network that relies on multi-hop communication, such as MANET. This paper presents a survey of the use of mobility management systems when integrating MANET with the internet, with the objective of serving as a handy reference in this field of research. It presents, analyzes, and discusses existing mobility management solutions for integrated MANET networks. It also investigates their shortcomings and provides a comparative study of the surveyed proposals.

A MANET is a distributed infrastructure-less network and in major cases it is concerned about the individual level of security solutions, since the MANET is a kind of decentralized type of network and to implement the centralized security control on it will not be an efficient way to secure the MANET networks though it will be the wastage of time and resources as well. When there is no centralized security in any network it always becomes vulnerable for the different attacks and can provide any way for the attacker to intrude into the Network or in the particular device. MANET is designed using the number of other small portable devices, although this system does not use any router, so that the centralized security could have work to protect the same network. But in this Network there is no router only the single Portable device is responsible for the attacks. It is really very hard and complicated to maintain this kind of network where it is defined that each end device will provide the security on its own, since there are the number of challenges when the security is concerned. In this paper we give the overview of the security in MANET and in case if there is any attack how the Network can be protected with theuse of the different security and protection technique. Attackers are always updated with the new and efficient ways how any network can be breached and thus it makes them intelligent to attack on any network. No matter security, engineers are always working to check the loopholes in their own system and trying to protect their networks butthe hackers to attack the network are inventing number of ways. When any network is being attacked by the attackers, the important data can be compromised. Data is very important asset for any industry and when the same valuable data is breached this can lead any organisation into serious issues. MANET does not use the strong centralized security system but there are always the best possible solutions which can be used to make sure that MANET can be used to make sure that of the attacker try to attack this Network he will find it much complicated to attack and intrude into the network hence will lead the attacker for the unsuccessful attack. This is very important to keep in consideration that before using any model of the network the security of the network should always keep in priority because more the secure Network is more efficient it will be.
