The influence of magnetic fields and natural geomagnetic storms on biological circadian rhythms are actively studied. This study reveals an impact of local natural perturbations in the geomagnetic field that occurred at different times of the day on circadian patterns of locomotor activity of zebrafish. A decrease in zebrafish swimming speed was observed during the geomagnetic disturbances before or after the fluctuations of diurnal geomagnetic variation. However, if the geomagnetic perturbations coincided with the fluctuations of diurnal geomagnetic variation, the decrease in zebrafish swimming speed was insignificant. This result suggests that the biological effects of geomagnetic disturbances may depend on synchronization with the diurnal geomagnetic variation. It implies that the previously published correlations between geomagnetic activity and medical or biological parameters could result from a disruption in circadian biorhythms.

The relevance of the introduction of HCL systems in production conditions, in which the dynamics of changes in the characteristics of light flux can be synchronized with the circadian biorhythms of the human body. This is determined by the fact that the unsatisfactory characteristics of industrial lighting increase the risk of injury and occupational morbidity. It is shown that providing only normative quantitative characteristics of illumination is not enough, since its qualitative characteristics – ripple coefficient, spectral composition cause non-visual effect of light. They can affect the psychophysiological state of a person, his\her performance, fatigue by affecting the circadian biorhythms of the body. The comparison of standard values of the level of artificial lighting of jobs in different countries with natural ones. Based on the analysis, recommendations were developed aimed at improving artificial lighting. The analysis of the results of the study of non-visual effect of the pulsation of the light flux on the psychophysiology of a person was carried out. Its main negative consequences are given, the necessary tasks for the implementation of the HCL program in a production environment in this aspect are identified. The results of analysis of studies of the influence of the color temperature of the light flux on the psychophysiological state of a person are also presented. Recommendations on the regulation of this parameter for various types of production activities have been developed.   Keywords: industrial lighting; NIF-effect; occupational injuries.

The aim of the article is to establish the interrelation of human biological rhythms and circadian hormones producement as well as to determine their impact on the medicine usage. Materials and methods: The review and latest data analysis of scientific and medical literature were performed. Conclusions: Proceeding from the literature sources there is a firm interrelation between human biological rhythms and circadian hormones producement. Following chronotherapy principles will allow to increase effectiveness of diseases treatment, including dental ones. It will also allow to reduce dosage of prescribed medicines as well as their side effects. Prospects for a further research are to identify a clear relationship between circadian biorhythms in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis in order to increase the effectiveness of therapeutic measures.

The comparative long-term observation of vascular Marantha leoconeura plant circadian biorhythms and some random processes in the mechanical and in electronic systems were carried out throughout winter and autumn months at the current year. The winter periods with relatively quiet Solar state were characterized by circaseptan and circasemiseptan multi-diurnal cycles in multi-diurnal time-course in plant leaves daily movement, and in deviation of obtained random numbers and coins toss counts from theoretically expected values. Solar active days at August and at September correlated with accumulated deviation of expected probability of random processes, and resulted in 5 days cycles prevalence in multi-diurnal time-course for both systems. The revealed discrepancy in seasonal dynamics observed is presumably caused by solar and cosmophysical driving agents the physical nature of which is badly expected to be unraveled.

The paper presents the results of variability of indicators of the cardio-respiratory system in 24 children with bronchial asthma. Circadian recurrence of changes in bronchial obstruction, lung capacity, heart rate, beat and per-minute volume indicators have been established, which are necessary for the individualization of pharmacotherapy of bronchial asthma.

Human population is increasing in immense cities with millions of inhabitants, in which life is expected to run 24 hours a day for seven days a week (24/7). Noise and light pollution are the most reported consequences, with a profound impact on sleep patterns and circadian biorhythms. Disruption of sleep and biorhythms has severe consequences on many metabolic pathways. Suppression of melatonin incretion at night and the subsequent effect on DNA methylation may increase the risk of prostate and breast cancer. A negative impact of light pollution on neurosteroids may also affect mood. People who carry the genetic risk of bipolar disorder may be at greater risk of full-blown bipolar disorder because of the impact of noise and light pollution on sleep patterns and circadian biorhythms. However, living in cities may also offers opportunities and might be selective for people with hyperthymic temperament, who may find themselves advantaged by increased energy prompted by increased stimulation produced by life in big cities. This might result in the spreading of the genetic risk of bipolar disorder in the coming decades. In this perspective the burden of poor quality of life, increased disability adjusted life years and premature mortality due to the increases of mood disorders is the negative side of a phenomenon that in its globality also shows adaptive aspects. The new lifestyle also influences those who adapt and show behaviors, reactions and responses that might resemble the disorder, but are on the adaptive side.
