Purpose The authors map out a work system that was key to Procter & Gamble transforming its innovation practices from a slow-paced, cautious incrementalism toward a leaner, more entrepreneurial model able to make bigger and riskier long-term bets. Design/methodology/approach Starting in 2016, P&G began “innovating how they innovated”, supported by a strong leadership commitment to working differently. Findings The newly envisioned future included P&G exploring many smaller scale innovations within and across business units, with quick learning, conducted in close collaboration with consumers and driven by their problems and needs. Practical/implications Kathy Fish began this initiative by studying what innovation practices had produced “irresistible superiority” in the past. Originality/value Describes how P&G, a leading, long-established company instituted a systematic program of changing the system through which the work of innovation gets done. This system has eight action levers that collectively shape a supportive and productive work environment. Taking these actions in a coherent, coordinated fashion at Procter & Gamble, changed the operating environment and the company’s innovators adapted their behavior to the new system.

This chapter highlights the author’s view that building a systematic program of research is imperative in the journey toward influential scholarship. It shares the approaches that the author has learned and used in the process of building her systematic program of research. This research program centers around identifying key antecedents and consequences of creativity and innovation. The approaches shared in the chapter include choosing a nascent research field, enjoying the observation of workplace phenomena, reading widely and diversely, questioning commonly held assumptions, and designing projects that connect with the big picture. The author recounts how she relied on these approaches to (a) examining the interplay between the actor and the context in affecting the actor’s creativity, which resulted in a new typology; (b) developing the dual-tuning perspective on affect and creativity; (c) investigating how employee creativity leads to firm innovation and performance; and (d) creating a framework for understanding the receiving side of creativity. The chapter concludes with reflections on how to conduct impactful research by building a systematic program of inquiry.

In his Address to the Federal Assembly on December 1, 2016, the President of Russia outlined the relevance of the systematic program of the digital economy related to the development of the “economy of a new technological generation”. The definition of the digital economy was presented in the Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in the Russian Federation for 2017–2030, published a little later, as an activity in which the key factors of production are data presented in digital form, while their processing and use in large volumes, including directly at the time of their formation, allow to significantly increase the efficiency, quality and productivity in various types of production, technologies, equipment during storage, sale, delivery and consumption of goods and services, in comparison with traditional forms of management. Today, the digital transformation of society, its economic, financial, social spheres, and education has acquired a large-scale nature. In October 2020, Russian Prime Minister M. Mishustin signed Resolution No. 1646 on a new approach to digitalization of government agencies. The article shows the unconditional benefits of the introduction of digital technologies, as well as the risks associated with their implementation.

Research aims: This study aims to determine and analyze the level of financial behavior, the level of Muhammadiyah community’s Islamic financial literacy in Medan City, and the effect of Islamic financial literacy on financial behavior.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research is descriptive quantitative using primary data through questionnaire. The research sample was 200 members of the Muhammadiyah organization in Medan City. The data analysis technique employed confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling utilizing AMOS.Research findings: The research confirmed that the level of Islamic financial knowledge among the Muhammadiyah community in Medan City was low, 60.56%. In contrast to Islamic finance knowledge, the financial behavior of the Muhammadiyah community in Medan City was classified as good; 69.01% of the Muhammadiyah community showed relatively good financial behavior. These two things make the level of Islamic financial literacy among Muhammadiyah residents in Medan City classified as less literate. This shows that in everyday life, Muhammadiyah community in Medan City had good financial behavior but was more influenced by habits or finance. Meanwhile, as far as Sharia finance was concerned, the Muhammadiyah community in Medan City still did not understand it.Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study provides information about the level of financial literacy and financial behavior of the Muhammadiyah community in Medan. This information becomes the basis for subsequent research to develop strategies to increase financial literacy and financial behavior of Muhammadiyah communities in Medan.Practitioner/Policy implication: Since Muhammadiyah aims to improve the welfare of the people and various studies have shown a link between the level of financial literacy and one's welfare, Muhammadiyah organizers need to pay attention to this, such as organizing a more structured and systematic program to increase Muhammadiyah citizens' knowledge of Islamic finance.Research limitation/Implication: This study still used a limited sample, namely Muhammadiyah communities. A broader sample will further confirm the validity of the literacy measurement instrument in the future.

The article deals with the problems of spiritual and moral education of young people based on the results of questioning the students of the Faculty of History and International Relations, and the Faculty o Information Technologies of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan). Preservation of historical memory, diverse and serious volunteer assistance, environmental projects are just a part of practical implementation of a systematic program of spiritual and moral education of students, implemented in the university.

Subject. This article explores Azerbaijan's financial market, its structure, and the issues of reform, sustainability and efficiency in the face of growing competition. Objectives. The article aims to identify the main problems and prospects for further development of Azerbaijan's financial market based on an analysis of its state over the past decade. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of comparative and evolutionary analyses, observation, classification, and logical generalization. Results. The article assesses the implementation and improvement of corporate governance in accordance with world standards, trust in the financial system, and transparency of financial institutions. It reveals and describes the conditions for the formation of Azerbaijan's modern financial market, and presents certain recommendations for its further development. Conclusions. Abstract The systematic program of heterotic line bundle model building has resulted in a wealth of standard-like models (SLM) for particle physics. In this paper, we continue this work in the setting of generalised Complete Intersection Calabi Yau (gCICY) manifolds. Using the gCICYs constructed in ref. [1], we identify two geometries that, when combined with line bundle sums, are directly suitable for heterotic GUT models. We then show that these gCICYs admit freely acting ℤ2 symmetry groups, and are thus amenable to Wilson line breaking of the GUT gauge group to that of the standard model. We proceed to a systematic scan over line bundle sums over these geometries, that result in 99 and 33 SLMs, respectively. For the first class of models, our results may be compared to line bundle models on homotopically equivalent Complete Intersection Calabi Yau manifolds. This shows that the number of realistic configurations is of the same order of magnitude.
