The lighting of the operating/surgical site depends on the quality of the lighting from the overhead light source and the reflection from the curtain. Light measurement on the operating table is very necessary because it generates light that is irradiated into the cutting wound without dazzling the cutting surface so that pathological conditions can be recognized and must provide depth contrast and anatomical relationships, to ensure this proper calibration method is needed. Long-term use of medical devices can cause changes in accuracy. Therefore, the author makes a tool to measure the intensity of light which is equipped with a distance meter. The purpose of this study was to develop a measuring instrument for measuring the intensity of light in operating lamps, namely a luxmeter by making Luxmeter equipped with a TFT Display Distance Sensor. This tool uses an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 to measure the distance between the light source and the sensor module and the MAX44009 sensor to measure the light intensity of the operating lamp displayed on the TFT screen. Based on the module distance setting to the roll meter, the distance error value for the measurement of the Surabaya electromedical engineering workshop lamp at the 75 cm roll meter distance setting is 0.0127% for the 100 cm roll meter distance setting is 0.0045%. The error rate of the light intensity module on the results of the measurement of light intensity on the luxmeter by setting the roll meter distance of 75 cm between the tool and the lamp of the electromedical engineering workshop is getting an error value of 0.082% lux and for the light intensity on the results of the measurement of light intensity on the luxmeter with a roll meter distance setting of 100 cm between the tool and the lamp in the electromedical engineering workshop, that is, the error value of lux is 0.055%. The design of a luxmeter equipped with a proximity sensor can measure the intensity of light and the distance between the tool and the light source and can assist in the learning process with a more effective Luxmeter design that will assist electromedics in testing operating lamps in hospitals to be more efficient.

This article presents two similar design cases and a discussion of how like values resulted in dissimilar design moves. Both cases were gamified learning activities for graduate students in instructional design. Both interventions employed rapid prototyping and were delivered synchronously in an at-a-distance setting. This article compares the two designs, the two designs’ similar development narratives, and the two designs’ divergent features. We give special attention to the common values the designers brought to the act of designing. Contrasting crucial features in similar designs allowed us, as designers, to appreciate divergent design moves. A discussion of the two cases explains how designers arrived at different design decisions through similar rationale. The authors were both designers and instructors of the implementations; each presents their case in relation to the other. Our combined cases explore how designers might compare salient features of similar instructional interventions and appreciate design moves that one chose not to make.

The substation is one of the components in the electric power distribution system which plays a very important role because it is the connection between electricity services to customers. In the electric power distribution system, there are disturbances that often occur, one of which is a short circuit. For that, the way to overcome this is using the Distance Relay protection system, OCR / GFR and DEF. The purpose of writing this research is to determine the value of setting relay distance, setting Over Current Rele and Directional Earth Fault relay in order to secure the 70 kV transmission network connected to GI Banaran, which is then simulated using DigSILENT 15.1 software on the Pare line by calculating symmetrical and asymmetrical disturbances. including 3-phase disturbance on February 1, 2018. The simulation results show that the 3-phase disturbance occurs at Zone 1 relay distance of the Banaran Bay Pare substation with a trip time of 0.02 seconds with a fault impedance of 0.083 ohms below the relay impedance value of 0.887 ohms. The coordination between the distance relay on the side of the Banaran Bay Pare substation has worked well because there is no error reading the relay when it will cut off the disturbance.

ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to design a pulper machine model TEP-JLL 2015 for fresh coffee robusta used in rural areas of Tana Toraja district. The machine was designed based on the analysis of physical characteristics of Robusta Tana Toraja coffee and literature study. The analysis result of physical characteristics showed the average length, thickness width was 12.494 mm, 12.802 mm, 10.687 mm, respectively, and the bulk density was 1,115 kg/m3. The theoretical hopper capacity of this machine was 3.7687 kg. Assuming the cylinder speed was 111.594 rpm with an effective distance setting system or flawed setting of 1.2 cm, the theoretical capacity of this pulper machine was 380.62 kg/hour. Keywords: fresh Robusta coffee fruit, pulper machine

Abstract In order to increase the effectiveness of interceptor missile, velocity rendezvous angle control is required in the terminal phase. The purpose of this paper is to obtain an optimal guidance law which can achieve specified velocity rendezvous angle as well as zero terminal miss distance. A biased optimal guidance law based on a simplified mathematical model is deduced for interceptors engaging against invasion aircraft. Different from previous literatures on this issue, the presented guidance law suitable for intercepting high-speed maneuvering target. Another advantage is, under centimeter level miss distance setting, the guidance law needs smaller guidance command near the terminal time, which can successfully avoid command saturation. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented guidance law.

The quality of forming model was influenced by the nozzle distance, during three dimensional printing. UV inkjet printer was used to complete 3D printing; the micro quality of printings under different nozzle distances were studied, and the influences of line attributes and surface attributes in micro quality caused by different nozzle distances were analyzed and discussed, in order to get the best micro quality through the nozzle distance setting. The results showed that the nozzle distance within a certain range, the influence on line attributes is greater than the influence on surface attributes caused by nozzle distance; when the nozzle distance is between 1.5-2.5mm, the micro quality of printed image is best.
