Agile methodology has been noted as the mostly used method for software development over the past few years. This methodology guarantees the rapid delivery of software products with lower cost and greater customer contentment. The adoption of agile methods was initially applied in the software development industry for single, small project teams following the principles of Agile Manifesto. The intense need of the time is to identify from management perspective the motivators that can be focused on to adopt agile methodologies in large-scale projects. Therefore, the main purpose of the study is to develop from management perspective a priority-based taxonomy of motivators that helps in scaling agile methodologies in large-scale projects. The taxonomy is developed in two steps. In the first step, data are collected from a survey and open literature. In the second step, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is implemented on the collected data that produced the proposed priority-based taxonomy of the motivators. With the help of AHP model, the 21 motivators of successful project management are categorized into four main categories, i.e., “organization management,” “team,” “customer and technology,” and “process.” Furthermore, the AHP analysis is used to rank the motivators and their respective categories in order of their importance. The findings of this study are further reviewed and validated by the agile experts in other organizations. The proposed priority-based taxonomy of motivators can be used as a handbook that gives guidelines on scalability of agile methodologies to large projects, which helps in successful management of large-scale projects.

The transition to process management considers business processes as special resources of the organization that are continuously adapting to constant changes. The specific feature of business process management is that the scope of its application can vary from a single process to an initiative that covers the whole organization. It can also range from a small project that simply documents and controls the processes of an organization to a full-scale implementation of automated systems that support technologies of business process management. During the implementation of the project, depending on its scale, some issues related to the identification of the required activities, technologies and the composition of the project team in terms of their roles and competencies appear. The information base for the study was comprised of the works of Russian and foreign scientists published in the form of monographs and scientific articles. The research method is logical system analysis of factors, technologies and technological applications. The article provides a classification of process management methodologies; identifies the factors that determine the complexity of the transition to process management. It also provides some recommendations on the type of work, the technologies used and the required competencies for the implementation of the project with regard to its complexity.

Status of growth and development of a society is measured by various social indices which depend on upon the equitable opportunities provided by the government in the form of access, participation, and transformation. Surveys in the last one decade, present to us glaring inequalities in social-economic and educational indicators of different socio-religious groups. Whenever policies and programmes do not benefit citizens, the government makes special provisions so that it would benefit them. The Right to Education Act (RTE) and within it 25% Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota was one such major intervention. The provision of 25% quota for EWS and disadvantaged children is mentioned in the RTE act section 12(1) (C). Thus, section 12(1)(C) of the RTE acts as a level-playing field for the children who were not able to afford quality education being offered in private schools. In Madhya Pradesh (MP), the RTE act came into effect from 2011. Bhopal the capital of MP had 2258 recognized schools and merely 223 have been covered under the RTE quota. Around 8162 EWS and disadvantaged students are studying in age appropriate classes. The present study was a small project work carried out in 10 schools of Bhopal (urban) covered under the RTE quota. The results indicated that though there is a social and educational inclusion of children in private schools but as per teachers' the ride is not a smooth one based on the responses of the students. Moreover, teachers still have a biased and unfavourable attitude towards these children. The gravity of the problem is not as big in the elite schools as they are not offering the EWS quota.

This study aims to analyse people’s understanding of social banking and to explore the factors affecting the acceptance of social banking in Thailand. The sample is a group of 650 Thai adults aged 55 years and older who usually access the Internet and are able to conduct financial transactions through online banking. The data was collected via an online survey and analysed using multinomial logistic regression. The findings indicate that 54.6% of respondents accepted social banking, while 45.4% of them rejected social banking. Education level, savings, and understanding of social banking have an influence on the acceptance of social banking in Thailand. The paper suggests that social banks should extend opportunities to older adult customers who might be rejected for small project loans by commercial banks and offer them good deals. As a result, they can live independently and confidently and are not excluded from society since they are able to contribute economically and create value for society. Moreover, social banks should launch training programmes or provide useful information about social banking to such customers as it can increase the reputation and social awareness of social banks and enhance the acceptance of social banking in Thailand

The discipline of human factors and ergonomics is largely focused on principled development of generalizable solutions. The process is typically slow, spanning months, even years. A crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic presents a different problem. How can human factors and ergonomics professionals react quickly, within hours or days, to provide viable solutions to unanticipated problems as they become apparent? Here we report on a small project in which we were able to respond rapidly to an emergent COVID-19 requirement. Given time constraints, we had no opportunity to follow a systematic analysis and design strategy. Our development and testing strategies reveal lessons that can be applied more generally to development of human factors and ergonomics interventions within emerging crises.
