Peningkatan Mutu Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru Melalui Akreditasi

The school library is an institution that acts as a center for information, educational activities, research, recreation for school residents. In supporting this role, school libraries must strive to provide excellent services according to the applicable national library standards. To realize a standardized library, the school library must conduct an assessment through library accreditation. With hope, an accredited library will provide services in accordance with the needs of users. However, awareness of school library accreditation in Riau Province is still very low. This is proven by the number of accredited school libraries that have not reached 1% of the total 1,391 school libraries in Riau Province. This has led to the holding of training and assistance related to school library accreditation for library managers or librarians of SMKN 7 Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity is to conduct training and assistance in preparing accreditation forms and preparing school library accreditation forms. The activity was delivered by means of, interactive discussion, assistance and evaluation using the checklist, pretest and posttest methods.

Pelatihan Literasi Digital Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh untuk Seluruh Guru SD Negeri Sumbersekar Dau Malang

Di masa pandemi saat ini, pembelajaran dilakukan secara online, namun banyak guru yang belum mampu memaksimalkan media pembelajaran secara online. Pengabdian ini ditujukan kepada guru SD Negeri di Sumbersekar, Dau, Kabupaten Malang dengan harapan, guru mampu memiliki kemampuan lebih dalam literasi digital khususnya media pembelajaran online. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan pemberian materi, antara lain: Literasi digital, Powtoon, Kahoot, Google Meet, Zoom, Flashcard, Edmodo, Google Classroom, dan Inovasi Pembelajaran. Pemberian materi yang digunakan adalah modul pembelajaran yang telah disiapkan dan dicetak, PPT, maupun praktek langsung pada komputer dan ditampilkan pada LCD. Hasilnya, peserta menunjukan kemajuan yang positif dalam memahami literasi digital dan beberapa media pembelajaran secara online yang telah diberikan. Peserta sudah mampu mencoba beberapa menu aplikasi yang diberikan serta hasil pre-test dan post-test telah menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Hal ini sangatlah penting guna menunjukkan dampak pelatihan bagi pembelajaran online di kelas nantinya dengan bertambahnya keterampilan literasi digital.

Pembacaan Puisi Arab Sebagai Cara Mencintai Bahasa Arab

Abstrak Puisi Arab telah berumur ribuan tahun. Keberadaannya sebagai media ekspresi, hiburan, dan informasi membuat puisi terus bertumbuh hingga sekarang. Keindahan puisi Arab dengan pola ritme dan sajak juga menarik banyak orang, baik masyarakat awam maupun masyarakat ilmiah. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mencoba menjadikan pembacaan puisi Arab sebagai cara untuk memotivasi pelajar agar lebih mencintai bahasa Arab. Penerima sasaran PKM mendapatkan manfaat dari program ini dengan tumbuhnya kecintaan pada bahasa Arab setelah mendengar pembacaan puisi Arab yang merdu secara musikalitas.

Pengenalan dan Pelatihan Sistem Pengarsipan Elektronik Berbasis Web Untuk Alumni Prodi Ilmu Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unilak

This service activity aims to provide introduction and training to Alumni Ilmu Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Lancang Kuning, especially those who are already working. A common problem for partners is that they do not have adequate skills in managing Web-based Electronic Archives. The implementation of this service is expected to improve the understanding and skills of Alumni Ilmu Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Lancang Kuning on how to manage Web-based electronic archives. The output produced in accordance with this activity plan is in the form of scientific articles. The method of implementing the activity is counseling. Submission of material is carried out by Lecturers who are members of the team proposing online community service activities.

Edukasi Pembuatan Video Media Pembelajaran Paud Menggunakan Komputer Bagi Tenaga Pendidik PAUD Lilik Kecamatan Bukit Raya

In this activity, educators at the Lilik PAUD School which is located at Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City are taught about making learning media in the form of computer-enabled videos. So far, educators have used learning media manually by utilizing cardboard and pictures made independently by the teacher. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers had difficulties in making learning media that could be applied in online learning. This activity was initiated by the Association of Indonesian Early Childhood Educators and Education Personnel (HIMPAUDI) Bukit Raya District. The output of this activity is in the form of products made by training participants, scientific journals of activity results, news of activities published on online media and teaching modules that can be used by teachers.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Pustakawan dan Pemuda Kampung Sialang Sakti Melalui Pelatihan Pengolahan Limbah

This service activity aims to provide training on the use of economic value waste to librarians and youth of Siak Sakti village, Siak. This is a continuation of the previous program that has been running, namely screen printing training to provide an alternative source of income for the youth of Sialang Sakti village who have several limitations so that they cannot continue their education to college due to economic factors. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to maximize the potential of the area, for example the village library. Sialang Sakti Village already has a Bina Ilmu village library which has been trusted as an inclusive library so that it has the opportunity to empower the community around the village. The target of this activity is to provide skills for librarians to process waste to add to the aesthetics of the library space and advanced screen printing training to the youth of Sialang Sakti village. The output produced is that librarians are able to process various wastes to improve the aesthetic appearance of the library space and the skills of youth to create a creative economy that is being developed by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. This activity is a collaboration between a team of service lecturers who have expertise in the use of waste-based learning media and experts in screen printing.

Pelatihan Manajemen Seni Pertunjukan kepada Komunitas Seni Kesara

The purpose of this training activity is (1) to provide an understanding of the stages of managing a show or event. (2) So that the event can be walk on the planned. To achieve this, training activities are needed including (1) Providing performing arts management materials, (2) Assisting partners and to be holding Komunitas Kesara that will launch a poetry musical album.

Pelatihan Menulis Cerita Pendek Untuk Komunitas Gemar Menulis Desa Bandul Kecamatan Tasik Putri Puyu Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

The community becomes a force to gather the younger generation to do positive things. One of the emerging communities is the literary community. In addition to conducting discussions on literary developments, the literary community also carries out writing training. This is what the Love Writing Community, Bandul Village, Tasik Putri Puyu District, Meranti Islands Regency, did. The main obstacle faced by the Love Writing Community is the lack of tutors or trainers for literary writing activities such as writing short stories. From this service, it can help members of the Bandul Village Love Writing Community understand writing strategies and at the same time the strategy of sending works to mass media that have cultural rubrics.

Pendampingan Pemasaran Potensi Pariwisata Pagaralam Untuk Kawasan Timur Tengah

Community Service with the theme Marketing the Potential Tourism of Pagaralam for the Middle East people is aimed to advocate the public to be aware of tourism and to become independent tourism ambassadors for their own region. The team from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program collaborated with the community represented by the academic community of the Al-Azhar Islamic Boarding School to develop a social media-based tourism marketing pattern (Youtube). This process begins with brainstorming, composing a narrative text, translating text into Arabic, taking pictures and video, editing, and downloading video to Youtube. The result of the program is the appearance of a short video in Arabic as a form of marketing the potential tourism of Pagaralam to the Middle East people.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Manajemen Perpustakaan Berbasis Inklusi Sosial pada Pengelola Perpustakaan Desa di Ponorogo

Transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial merupakan salah satu kebijakan prioritas yang digagas Pemerintah pusat. Program ini dimaksudkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan cara penguatan literasi. Perpustakaan desa sebagai salah satu sumber informasi masyarakat diharapkan dapat berperan serta secara aktif dalam penguatan literasi tersebut. Mitra dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Perpustakaan Desa Manuk, Kecamatan Siman, Kabupaten Ponorogo - Jawa Timur. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan pengelola perpustakaan desa tentang manajemen perpustakaan desa berbasis inklusi sosial. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengoptimalan peran dan fungsi perpustakaan dalam peningkatan literasi untuk kesejahteraan, perencanaan kegiatan partisipatif yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan literasi untuk kesejahteraan, dan membuat pedoman evaluasi kinerja perpustakaan desa dalam rangka mewujudkan perpustakaan desa berbasis inklusi sosial. Selain itu juga dilakukan FGD untuk menggali permasalahan yang dihadapi para pengelola perpustakaan desa serta merumuskan strategi sebagai langkah alternatif menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan ini sebanyak 15 pengelola perpustakaan desa. Setelah dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini dapat diketahui bahwa seluruh peserta menyatakan bersemangat untuk mengelola perpustakaan desa sesuai materi yang telah diberikan. Dengan demikian kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan berkelanjutan serta perlu dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan agar ke depan dapat menyusun kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang lebih baik dan bermanfaat.
