We have synthesised a novel class of melaminyl derivative, containing a phenyl boronate or boronate ester group. The synthetic methodology employed was designed to be facile involving the use of 2, 4-diazido-6-chloro-1, 3, 5-triazine as an electrophilic reagent for nucleophilic substitution of chlorine with a weakly reactive amine. The reagent was chosen with a view to improve the organic solubility of the product and aid isolation by allowing the reaction to be followed by fluorescence quenching (Tlc, F234) and IR (the presence of two N3 peaks).

This study investigated the fatty acid compositions, moisture content, ash content and heavy metals in ten marine fish samples namely, Lates calcarifer, Tenualosa toli, Pampus chinensis, Laptoracanthus savala, Harpodon nehereus, Johnius angentatus, Awaous guamensis, Setipinna phasa, Sillogenopsis panigus, Sardina pilchardus collected from Kuakata sea beach, Bangladesh. Analysis was carried out according to AOAC (1990) method. Fatty acid compositions were determined by saponification and esterification followed by identification and quantitation by gas chromatograph equipped with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Ash, fat and moisture contents of the fish samples were in the range of 3.25-6.27%, 0.89-6.08% and 71.47-90.16%, respectively. The amount of saturated fatty acids (SFA) varied in the range of 55.53-89.04% whereas unsaturated fatty acids (USFA) were of 16.45-44.48%. Lauric (3.93-15.19%), palmitic (40.27-67.34%) and stearic acids (5.18-22.88%) were predominant among the individual SFA compositions, whereas oleic (0.91-34.26%), linoleic (0.69-9.95%) and palmitoleic acids (7.66-19.05%) were predominant among USFA in these species. Samples were freeze dried, digested and finally analysed by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) for the presence of Pb, Cu, Zn, Mn and the range of these metals were 0.5-1.9, 2.4-30.4, 3.2-10.5, 0.3-8.5 mg.kg-1, respectively. However, the values were below the permitted level set by FAO/WHO 2004.

The microwave assisted synthesis of 3-Chloro-N-(2-(5-chloro-1-tosyl-1H-benzo [d] imidazol-2-yl) ethyl)-N-substituted quinoxalin-2-amine derivatives is described. 2,3-dichloro quinoxaline (DCQX), as a starting compound and propargyl bromide, as an efficient alkylating agent are used in the synthesis of N-substituted quinoxalin-2-amine derivatives. We realized that microwave assisted synthesis is efficiently replacing conventional method of synthesis.

The Schiff bases find interesting application in the field of analytical, biological, medicinal and chemistry etc. Hence, there is an increasing interest in the synthesis of new Schiff bases. Schiff bases find application as ionic and neutral analyses by complexation, applications as a microbial and drug delivery. Synthesis of Schiff base and their complexes with transition metal ions herald many promises in the field of coordination chemistry.

The theoretical investigation of inclusion complexation of amide-imidol tautomer of two guest molecules benzanilide (BA) and fast violet B (FVB) with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) using DFT B3LYP 3-21G  method in the gas phase. Benzanilide has no substitution in the basic skeleton and the other selected compound substituted with three groups such as –NH2, -CH3 and –OCH3 group in the same aromatic ring. The tautomer  of two selected compounds was formed the stable inclusion complexes with the β-CD supramolecule. The theoretically calculated complexation energy was observed the negative value for all the inclusion complexes. This method was applicable to determine the structural assignment of the inclusion complexes between BA, FVB and β-CD.

All-solid-state batteries (ASSBs) have attracted much attention in recent years, due to their high energy density, excellent cycling performance, and superior safety property. As the key factor of all-solid-state batteries, solid electrolyte determines the performance of the batteries. Garnet-typed cubic Li7La3Zr2O12(LLZO) has been reported as the most promising solid electrolyte on the way to ASSBs. Thin film electrolyte could contribute to a higher energy density and a lower resistance in a battery. This short review exhibits the latest efforts on LLZO thin film and discusses the different preparation methods, together with their effects on characteristics and electrochemical performances of the solid electrolyte film.

Natural macromolecular organic substances-fulvic acids take an active part in complex formation processes and stipulate migration forms of heavy metals in natural waters The calculation of the migration forms of heavy metals is one of the problematic issue of the contemporary chemistry, which couldn’t be solved without using the conditional stability constants of fulvate complexes. In spite of researches, experimental data on stability constants of complex compounds of fulvic acids with heavy metals ( among them copper) are heterogeneous and they differ in several lines from each other. One of the reason of such condition is ignoring an average molecular weight of the associates of fulvic acids, which finally causes the wrong results. Complex formation process between copper (II) and fulvic acids was studied by the solubility method at pH=9.0. Cu(OH)2 suspension was used as a solid phase. Fulvic acids were isolated from Paravani lake by the adsorption –chromatographic method. In this article is shown that, during complex formation process every 1/4 part of an associate of fulvic acids(Mw=7610), inculcates into copper's inner coordination sphere as an integral ligand, so it may assume, that the average molecular weight of the associate of fulvic acids which takes part in complex formation process equals to 1903. This part of the associate of fulvic acids was conventionally called an“active associate".The average molecular weight of the“active associate”was used for determination the composition of copper fulvate complex, the concentration of free ligand and stability constant, which equals to 2,25x107
