COVID 19 pandemic has been made plenty of socio-economic and health crisis in worldwide. The research problem in this study was, how does technology intervene in social interaction and the research question was ‘what is the psycho-social effects of social distance during the Covid 19 period’. Study Objectives were limited to identifying the features of the psycho-social situation of students who are in the age group of 18-25 and to identifying the technological impact of maintaining social interaction. The alternative hypothesis was, ‘there is an impact between technological intervention towards preserving social interactions. The ontological approach of this research is objectivism and the epistemological approach is positivistic. The research type is descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative. The research was designed with a survey method. The hypothesis was tested through validated questionnaires. The sample was obtained using the simple random method which is representing the probability sampling method. There is more time to spend with family members. Family contact for more than 16 hours has been increased by 9%. Talking time with friends has been increased. The time allocated for studies has been relatively reduced. But the time for leisure time activities has been increased. Outdoor sports by young people have dropped by 32%. Young people are isolated in every way. Young people use technology to reduce distance. The most common devices are smartphones and laptops. 47% of young people have not seen a doctor during the Covid period for any disease. Only about 10% have seen a doctor for mucosal diseases. About 50% of young people have stress. Anxiety and depression are also more with young people. There is no mental disease with 33% of them. They mostly feel loneliness, tension, and frustration. But some of them feel relaxed and happy.50% of them feel that they have extra time during this period. They use it to chat with family members and friends. But they lost their extra-curricula activities. They have an idea to adjust to new normal situations via technology.

The objective of this research is to examine the aspects of Information System (IS) strategies, Business Intelligence, and Analytics (BI&A) used to enhance firm performance. The main purpose of this study is to assess the influence of IS strategy, BI&A impact on firm performance as well as to demonstrate the association of innovation ambidexterity between BI&A and firm performance. Statistically analyzed results were based on data obtained from a survey questionnaire filled out by 322 Indonesian, China, Japan, and Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises employees. The findings revealed that IS strategies, business intelligence, and analytics use have a significant influence on firm performance. The findings also revealed that innovative adaptability is a mediating factor in the favourable relationship between BI&A use and business success. All of the hypotheses were supported and the partial least squares method was used to test them.

Enhanced usage of digital approaches and Enterprise Social Systems (ESS) in SMEs due to Covid-19 has raised several unanswered questions related to motivation, concerns, and productivity of employees. This study aims to explore the underlying mechanism of knowledge sharing through ESS between motivations, concerns, and productivity. Using a quantitative survey approach this study analyzed 352 employees from Malaysian SMEs. The results revealed that utilitarian and hedonic motivation positively, while privacy concerns negatively influenced employee productivity. Additionally, the mediating role of knowledge sharing using ESS was also proved by study results. Several key policy insights and future research directions are suggested.

Digital innovation is a buzzword for organizations in the current era to gain a competitive advantage. Grounded in the theory of entrepreneurship, this study investigates the interactive effects of innovation capability and the Self Tuning Model on digital innovation. The data was collected from 410 managerial level employees of German pharmaceutical companies using an online email survey. The results revealed that innovation capability moderated the relationship between the Self Tuning model elements and digital innovation. The study attempted to answer several unanswered questions in the digital innovation field by suggesting policy and future research directions for scholars and practitioners.

Most of the firms are keen to achieve desired performance levels and competitive advantage through creativity and innovation. Thus, drawing on the resource-based view current study aims to contribute by exploring the underlying mechanism through which firms' characteristics are linked with firm performance and competitive advantage. Using online survey data was collected from 303 managers from German and Italian SMEs, results revealed that innovation capability mediated the associations between antecedents (creativity & dynamic capability) and outcomes (competitive advantage and performance). Several key policy insights and future research directions are suggested.

The objective of this article is to study the factors which affect the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) instagram use for business and its subsequent impact on financial and non-financial performance. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the effect of competency, cost-effectiveness, innovative behavior, and interactivity on instagram use for business, and consequences on firms' performance. Statistical analysis was performed on the data acquired through a survey questionnaire from 352 Malaysian SME employees. The findings revealed that competency, cost-effectiveness, innovative behavior, and interactivity have a positive influence on instagram use for business. The results also indicated that instagram use for business has a strong positive effect on the financial performance and non-financial performance of SMEs. All the hypotheses were accepted and tested by a partial least square (PLS) approach.

The social capital and attachment theory are employed to theoretically define the relationships between three social capital dimensions (trust, interaction density and cooperation), three-dimensional emotional attachment (affection, passion and connection) and organizational innovation – by considering the organizational climate as a potential moderator. This study proposes a) social capital and emotional attachment contribution to organizational innovation b) moderating role of organizational climate in the relationship between social capital, emotional attachment and organizational innovation. The suggestions conclude that keeping an account of employees’ social capital and emotional attachment may help the organization to take an innovative position in the market.

The objective of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the use of social media apps as a procedural learning tool during COVID-19. The primary aim of this research is to assess the impacts of content quality, task technology fit, vividness, and anxiety on perceived usefulness, and the impact of PEOU on and PU desire to use for procedural learning. Data was collected through an online questionnaire from 313 Tiktok users. The findings revealed that content quality, task technology fit, and vividness have a significant influence on overall effectiveness. The results also indicated that PEOU and PU have a strong favourable effect on the purpose to use for procedural learning. The structural equation modeling result revealed that all of the hypotheses were supported.
