Urban Farming is growing rapidly and becoming as a part of the solution for food insecurity and malnutrition problems of urban citizen. But, the facilitation and development of urbanfarming have not been able to overcome problems and pressure faced by urban farmers mainlyaccessibility to agroinput yet. Objectives of this research were to 1) identify the problems ofagroinput, 2) to know accessibility of farmer to agroinput, 3) to analyze the policy implicationto the development of urban farming. The research used an explanatory survey method.Sampling method used waspurposive stratified random sampling. Availability of agroinput andfarmer’s accessibility were quantified using Likert’s Scale. Respondents were member offarmer’s group of paddy agribusiness, sheep, and processing of agriculture products. Thisresearch was conducted in the villages of Situ Gede and Margajaya for intra-urban, and PasirBuncir and Pasir Eurih of Tamansari for peri-urban.The observed variables are land, water,seeds/seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides, technologyas well as labor. Results of the study:1)agroinput that are difficult to access by farmers are land, labor, feed concentrate, fertilizer, andseed.Paddy land ownership in peri-urban is less than 0.2 Ha and in intra-urban areas are landlessfarmers. Outside labor is difficult to access because of itslimited amount or availibility and thewages is relatively expensive. Feed concentrate for sheep rarely available and not affordablebecause it’s expensive. Limited accessibility to agroinput for urban agribusiness and itsproblems and challenge will bring changing policy implication for developing urban farming, mainly for facilitation, development of urban agribusiness model, empowering institusional, andregulatory.

Farmers who control pests and diseases chemically. In fact, the spirit of sustainable agriculture aims to use such environmentally friendly materials as biological pest control by using crop crops planted by crops. It aims to analyze the descriptive levels of farmer's empowerment, relevant factors and strategies that can be done to increase farmer's empowerment in the optimization of rice cattle. Research is carried out in Germany magazine magazine holds April to July 2019. Population is an active farm rice farmer in farm groups of 302. The sample prescribed by 77 people is using random sampling cluster technique. Independent variables include farmers' characteristics, government education and support and dependent variables - the farmers' empowerment. The analytical techniques used are descriptive and syntax of rank spearman. Studies show that farmers' empowerment levels in the optimization of rice culture are category. A factor associated with farmer's empowerment in the optimization of farm cattle is formal education, prolonged effort, farmer status, training and government support. A strategy that can be done to increase farmer's empowerment is by increasing government training and support activities.

Tani Maju farmer group is one of the farming groups located in Rorotan Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta City Administration. This group has a lot of sheep and advanced management. Despite they manage their sheep well, they are not well informed on how to manage the sewage from their castles (faces and urine). So far, they just throw away the sewage or gave them to fellow farmers. This study aimed to analyze the level of farmers' knowledge in making use of sheep's urine to be degraded into bio urine in the Maju Farmer group. Data was collected through the pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using paired t-test and Wilcoxon statistical software (IBM SPSS Statistics 25). The results of the study showed that farmers' knowledge in sewage (Urine) management increased; there is a significant difference in farmers' level of knowledge in bio urine production before and after bio urine extension.

Farmer regeneration is an effort to maintain and increase the number of farmers who have decreased. One of the programs to attract young generation in agriculture is Sustainable Food House Areas (SFHA) activities. The purposes of this study are to describe the level of youth interest, analyse factors that decide the interest, and formulate some strategies for developing youth interest in SFHA activities. This study was conducted in Sukatani, Sukaraja Sub-district, Bogor Regency in April – June 2020. This study used 50 peoples which determined using simple random sampling technique. The variables consist of individual characteristics, external factors, and youth interest in SFHA activities. Data analysis that used in this study is a descriptive analysis, correlation Rank Spearman analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed 52% of youth respondents had a high interest in SFHA activities. The factors that decide youth interest in SFHA activity are ICT access, cosmopolitan behavior, motivation, and some external factors. The strategies that can be undertaken to develop youth interest in SFHA activities are external factors support (family support, agricultural extension, community support and natural resources) to overcome the weaknesses (ICT access and cosmopolitan). Efforts that can be made are information media supply as a reference for youth generation in both of printed or electronic media, and actively conducting training and agricultural extension as a form of SFHA development.

Sweet potato plants are generally planted monoculture by farmers, so that the cultivation activities in one season only focus on one commodity and no other mixed commodities. The possibility that occurs when implementing a monoculture cropping system is a failure to harvest or small production results if the plant is attacked by pests or diseases, also less optimal use of the land used. One effort to overcome this problem is the intercropping system. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of empowerment of farmer group members through the application of sweet potato cultivation intercropping with sweet corn plants, analyzing the influential factors and strategies to increase the empowerment of farmer group members through the adoption of sweet potato cultivation intercropping with sweet corn plants. The population of this study was 145 people and 61 samples were taken. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and Kendall's W. analysis. The results of the study show that the level of empowerment of farmer group members in the three research object villages is in the high category of 38 people or (62.30%) of the total overall respondent. The factors that influence the empowerment of farmer group members through the implementation of intercropping are external factors in extension activities. The strategy to increase the empowerment of farmer group members through the implementation of intercropping by carrying out counseling containing material about intercropping and sweet potato cultivation systems.

The Ministry of Agriculture has a strategic flagship program to improve the well-being of farmers. One of its programs is People's Business Credit (KUR). The KUR program is expected to be a solution for farmers in providing financial capital from formal financial institutions. Capitalization is a major issue facing farmers. Capital constraints also result in lower quantity and quality of yield. Thus, farmers still have low accessibility of farmers to KUR. This is because farmers consider capital access to formal financial institutions difficult and they need to have a reserve. All this time farmers have been relying on collectors and non-bankers for capital raising. Farmers need to lend capital to cultivators because they are the only easy solution to working capital. This study aimed to describe the capacity of rice farmers in accessing People's Business Credit (KUR) and to analyze the factors that influence the capacity of farmers in accessing the CURS sample of 54 people with purposive sampling technique. The research variables consisted of respondents 'characteristics, support for counseling services, social support and farmers' capacity. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis statistics. The results can be concluded that the capacity of rice farmers in accessing KUR is in the high category. Farmers' capacity is influenced by long-term entrepreneurship, counseling service support and social support.

The application of pest disesase control according to the recommendation in Balubur Limbangan has only been implemented around 47.1%, so that most of the farmers participation is still low and the conditions of farmers in the field are still using chemical pesticides. Therefore the importance of environmental friendly pest control. This research was aimed at paddy rice farmers in Balubur Limbangan, especially in the Dunguswiru Villages, Surabaya and Ciwangi. Each village is represented by one group of farmers, then selected based on certain criteria. Next determination the sample using the Slovin formula combined with Rubin's  and Luck theory so that the total is 50 respondents. Then to using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The results showed the participation of rice farmers was low category. Then the factors of farmer participation in internal factors are education (implementation and evaluation), while external factors are extension activities, availability of information, support from farmer groups, and availability of infrastructure (planning and implementation aspects). Meanwhile, the lowest indicator that becomes the problem priority is the cultural pest control so it is used as counseling material.
