Abstract This paper examines the impact of uncertainties in the future trends of mortality on annuity values in Singapore's compulsory purchase market. We document persistent population mortality improvement trends over the past few decades, which underscores the importance of longevity risk in this market. Using the money's worth framework, we find that the life annuities delivered expected payouts valued at 1.019–1.185 (0.973–1.170) per dollar of annuity premium for males (females). Even in a low mortality improvement scenario, the annuities provide an expected value exceeding 0.950. This suggests that participants in the national annuity pool have access to attractively priced annuities, regardless of sex, product, and premium invested.

Cholera, an acute intestinal infection caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae, remains a major public health problem in many parts of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. A mathematical model is developed, to assess the impact of increasing antimicrobial resistance of Vibrio cholerae on the future trends of the cholera epidemic. Equilibrium states of the model are determined and their stabilities have been examined. The impacts of increasing antimicrobial resistance of Vibrio cholerae on the future trends of cholera epidemic have been investigated through the reproductive number. Numerical results are provided to support analytical findings.

Therefore, it is important to study the impact of information technology on the prospects for further development of advocacy, in order to ensure the effective functioning of the legal practice Analysis of recent research and publications. Among the studies on the impact of information technology on legal activities should be noted the work of legal scholars such as O.V. Spivakovsky, M.I. Sherman, G.H. Yavorska, V.M. Stratonov, B.A. Zaplotynsky, G.S. Polishchuk, M.V. Protsenko, I. Zhilinkova and others. However, the growing influence of information technology on the provision of legal services causes the need of an additional comprehensive analysis. The target of research in this article is to analyze the impact of information technology on the current state and prospects for further development of advocacy. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Speaking about the prospects of advocacy, it should be noted that the hyperactive development of information technology over the past decade has led to the introduction of telecommunications, information resources and Internet services in all spheres of human life, and advocacy is no exception. Information technologies are often the key to the transition to a qualitatively new level of legal business, as their use provides the introduction of new technical tools and integrated approaches to meet the needs of clients in legal aid. As a result, it is concluded that the impact of information technology is crucial to the future development of advocacy. However, the traditional and conservative nature of advocacy is an obstacle to the innovative development of legal services. Besides, it is necessary to change the current information legislation, which will promote more active implementation of the latest approaches in the field of jurisprudence. Given the above, the main focus should be on overcoming these obstacles, in order to ensure the effective functioning of the legal practice in the future technological world.

In the last ten years the development of information technology is so fast, this is marked by the increasingly sophisticated communication devices and the increasing use of applications. The generation that was born at the start of the transition of technology is certainly a generation that is "lucky" because of the convenience obtained from the impact of technological developments that occur. This generation is known as digital native, where they tend to multitask, network, like interactive connections, etc. At present the native digital generation is also part of the college library. From observations and data obtained, digital nativehas a unique learning behavior. Some studies suggest that native digital generations tend to prefer getting information quickly and completely online by relying on internet access. Therefore, this is thought to be the reason why the library is no longer interesting to be visited by students who are mostly digital nativegeneration. To understand their interest in the library of the future, this research seeks to find out digital nativeexpectations of the future library in terms of building and spatial planning, services, and library products.
