ABSTRACT This study assessed the effect of training program on teachers’ knowledge of and attitude toward reproductive health education/ sexuality education (RHE/SE) in five randomly selected rural schools in rural area of Wardha district, Maharashtra, India. All the 40 teachers in the selected were recruited for the study. They (40 teachers) were all given training in RHE/SE for 1 month. Their knowledge and attitude toward RHE/SE were assessed pre-and post-training program. The results show a significant increase in percentage of those who had good knowledge in general areas of RHE/SE at post-training assessment compared with pretraining assessment [from 14.3% to 53.6%, p = 0.0001). Also, pre-post attitudinal disposition assessments show that there was an increase in percentage of those who were favorably disposed to the teaching of RHE/SE. The study suggests that RHE/SE should be included and made compulsory in all training program for all teachers in india. How to cite this article Acharya N, Sabiha, Hariharan C, Gupta S, Athavale R. The conclusion of Wilcoxon's statistical test analysis results obtained sig (0.00) <sig (0.05) which means that there is an effect of adolescent reproductive health education between knowledge before and after health education. Conclusion: Health care workers are expected to be able to carry out health education specifically on adolescent reproductive health as one of the preventions of unwanted pregnancy problems among adolescents

Background: Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. Some of the health problems that can be experienced by adolescents, one of which is about risky behavior from premarital sex to HIV, factors that can cause adolescents to engage in risky sexual behavior include lack of education or knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about the importance of maintaining reproductive health. This literature review aims to determine the effect of providing adolescent reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Method: The articles used in this literature review is 5 articles with searches conducted through Google Schoolar, PubMed, and Garuda using the keywords 'adolescent reproductive health education', 'adolescent HIV health education', and health education by peers'. The inclusion criteria of this literature review are the articles used indexed by SINTA, Scopus, Scimago or having ISSN, Full text, published in 2011-2021, and using themethod quasi-experimental. The method used is to summarize the five selected journals, analyze, and draw conclusions. Results: The results in research journals show value < 0.05 and value = 0.0001 < which means that there is an effect of providing reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Conclusion: There is an influence of adolescent reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Suggestions for future research are expected to pay more attention to procedures and measurement of research results using health education methods by peer educators.

Objective: To analyze the relationship of characteristics, training, knowledge, attitude, identities and school supports with teacher behavior in providing adolescent reproductive health education. Method: This study was an analytical research with cross-sectional design. The number of sampel were 71 schools that was determined by systematic random sampling. The number of respondents were 421 teachers. The independent variables were characteristics, training, knowledge, attitudes, identities and school supports. The dependent variable was teachers behavior in providing reproductive health education. Data were collected through interviews. The data were analyzed using Chi Square Test and multiple logistic regression. Result: Factors related to teacher behavior in providing adolescent reproductive health education were gender (OR: 1.64; 95% CI: 1.105-2.437), employment status (OR: 1.55 ; 95% CI: 1.03-2.34 ), training participation (OR:1.78; 95% CI: 1.210-2.623), knowledge (p: 0.000),  attitude (OR: 5,81 ; 95% CI: 4.412-7.650), facilities (OR: 1749.52 ; 95% CI: 457.670-6688.005) and implementation (OR: 2008.95; 95% CI: 512.397-7876.487). A lack of communication, support, and information from parents on sexual issues are involved an inability to prevent or intervene in the sexual activity of adolescents. This study aimed to determine the effect of adolescent reproductive health education on premarital sexual behavior in Palembang, Indonesia. This study was an experimental design with pre and post-intervention. The 192 students were obtained based on the criteria of samples required. The result of bivariate analysis between the Chi-Square confounding variable and premarital sexual behavior after the intervention shows that there is a significant relationship between knowledge about sex, reproductive health, and attitudes with premarital sexual behavior. There is a significant relationship between control behavior and sexual behavior after performing the intervention (p= 0.00). The result of multivariate shows that there is a dominant variable that is the variable of knowledge about reproductive health (p= 0.00). This study suggested that information about adolescent reproductive health should be included in the curriculum, especially in Biology class.
