Abstract There is a growing recognition that social support can potentially exert consistent or opposing effects in influencing health behaviours. The present paper presents a cross-sectional study, including 2,064 adults from Italy, Spain and Greece, who were participants in a multi-centre randomised controlled trial (C4H study), aiming to examine whether social support is correlated with adherence to a healthy Mediterranean diet and physical activity. Social support data were available for 1,572 participants. The majority of the sample reported emotional support availability (84·5 %), financial support availability (72·6 %) and having one or more close friends (78·2 %). Mediterranean diet adherence was significantly associated with emotional support (P = 0·009) and social network support (P = 0·021). No statistically significant associations were found between participant physical activity and the social support aspects studied. In conclusion, emotional and social network support may be associated with increased adherence to the Mediterranean diet. However, further research is needed to evaluate the role of social support in adherence to healthy Mediterranean diet.

Kata kunci: Produktivitas, Status Gizi, Pola Makan, Aktivitas Fisik ABSTRACT Title: Relationship between Nutritional Status, Diet and Physical Activity with Work Productivity at Workers at PT Gatra in 2019 Background: The structural transformation of the Indonesian economy shows that labor, employment and demographic productivity contribute positively to economic growth. Abstract. Hypertension is a degenerative disease that is a public health problem and often appears asymptomatic. Hypertension is caused by many factors, one of which is diet and physical activity. This study aims to determine the relationship between diet and physical activity with hypertension occurrence. Data collection was conducted from November 23 to December 31, 2013 at the Polyclinic of Internal Medicine of dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Type of analytic observational research with cross sectional study approach. The number of respondents was 81 people taken by consecutive sampling. Assessment of hypertension by measuring blood pressure, diet using FFQ questionnaire and physical activity of Beache questionnaire surveyed interview method. The statistical test is a chi-square test with α 0,05 and 95% CI. The results showed that dominant respondents of hypertension of degree II (56.8%) were wrong diet (54.3%) and moderate activity (55.5%). There is relationship between diet with degree of hypertension (p ≤ 0,05) p = 0,013, RR = 2,012 and there is relation of physical activity with degree of hypertension value p = 0,008. It can be concluded that diet and physical activity related to degree of hypertension, the wrong diet is at risk of 2,012 times of degree II hypertension. Key words : hypertension, dietary, physical activity.

(1) Background: Several research works have shown the relationship between physical activity (PA), adherence to the Mediterranean diet (MD) and health. Nevertheless, there are few studies that demonstrate the relationship of these habits with academic performance, and specifically with academic stress. (2) Methods: This descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study aims to analyse the associations between these variables in a sample composed of 515 university students, using as main instruments the KIDMED, PAQ-A and the Scale of Academic Stress. (3) Results: The university students analysed showed higher levels of academic stress for women, and especially in the academic obligations and communication of own ideas. In addition, it was shown that those university students that had a body mass index (BMI) associated with being overweight or under-weight were the respondents with higher levels of stress. Finally, the students with a low adherence to MD had higher scores for stress associated with the communication of their own ideas, while PA was not related to academic stress. When sex and BMI variables were controlled in the regression model, no associations were obtained between stress and diet quality. (4) Conclusions: This study shows interesting implications in the treatment of academic stress. Although stress was not associated with diet and physical activity, it was linked to a worse state of health associated with states of being overweight, being of special interest the treatment of stress in women.
