The task was set, due to the capabilities of modern software systems, to assess the effect of the increase in inelastic deformations under prolonged load action on the loss of stability of thin-walled dome coverings. The study of the dependences of the forms of the loss of stability of dome covering from creep concrete that will help further with optimization calculations when determining of the most influencing parameters of designs. Calculation results of thin-walled concrete dome roof of circular outline under the influence of operational loadings with use of two modern program complexes are given in article. It is investigated intense and deformation condition of dome coverings as a part of construction from position of forecasting of possible forms of loss of stability, with use of opportunities of the final and element «MidasCivil» computer system. In work provisions of the theory of elasticity, mechanics of deformation of solid body, construction mechanics and also methods of mathematical modeling based on application of finite element method are used. The received results give the chance to rationally select geometrical parameters and material of design and also to set structural strength safety factors at the solution of problems of stability of different covers taking into account possible creep of material.

Human engineering of the outdoors led to the development of the indoor niche, including home construction. However, it is unlikely that domicile construction mechanics are under direct selection for humans. Nonetheless, our preferences within indoor environments are, or once were, consequential to our fitness. The research of human homes does not usually consider human evolution, and, therefore, we are without previous predictions about indoor climate preference. We worked with citizen scientists to collect indoor climate data from homes ( n = 37) across the USA. We then compared these data to recent global terrestrial climate data (0.5° grid cells, n = 67 420) using a climate dissimilarity index. We also compared some climate-related physiological parameters (e.g. thermoneutral zone (TNZ)) between humans and a selection of non-human primates. On average, our study homes were most similar in climate to the outdoor conditions of west central Kenya. We found that the indoor climates of our study homes largely matched the TNZ of humans and other primates. Overall, we identified the geographical distribution of the global outdoor climate that is most similar to the interiors of our study homes and summarized study home indoor climate preferences.

A new kind of hydraulic motor suitable for the low velocity, large torque, high efficiency and mutable velocity output have been researched and developed in this paper. There are a series of creations, such as, the oil flow distribution, the principle of reducer, the output mechanics and the total structure. It features in the simple in construction, small of size, large ratio of reducer, high f ratio of torque-power, and low in energy consumption. It is suitable for all the occasions with hydraulic supply and all the fields when low velocity, large torque, high efficiency and mutable velocity output ware needed. Such as the construction mechanics, ship mechanics, heavy machine tool, heavy capstan and so on. The frequency of the hydraulic system is about 1000–2000/min, the reduced ratio of the planetary drive of swinging bevel gear is about 20–100, with 150 the maximum. This paper introduced the fundamental principle of the transmission of this mechanics, designed the basic structure of this mechanics, and analyzed the movement and forces.

The construction process of the large span spatial steel structure was studied by finite element method and the time-varying mechanics. The construction process of complex spatial frame structure was divided into the installation and dismount supporting phase, and each stage was divided into 15 steps in which mainly simulated and analyzed the whole construction process by "life-death" element. The critical control points of each construction step were identified, the stress state, interval value and the maximum stress in the structure of each construction condition were conformed; rod deformation in construction process was analyzed in construction program. The result showed that the large span spatial steel structure construction scheme was numerical simulated and calculated by the method of finite element analysis and the mechanical state, deformation and safety of building structure were predicted accurately during construction.

In order to ensure the prestress establishment of large-span suspendome, research on the measure-control methods for large-span suspendome during prestress construction process is performed, by summarizing the existing measure and test methods. According to engineering practice at present, the paper classifies the measure-control content of large-span suspendome during prestress construction period into two parts: internal force of cable-strut and deformation of steel structure. Taking practical project of a gymnasium as an example, the axial forces of hoop cables, radial steel tie rods and struts are measured, and also the verticality of struts. The test results are analyzed, and compared with the calculated value. The results show that, the internal forces of cable-strut and verticality of struts can both meet the design requirement, by mechanical analyzing and precise monitoring of the whole prestress construction process. The conclusion is that, before the prestress construction of large-span suspendome, construction mechanics analysis must be carried out in details to determine the control content and its target value, right measure-control methods are chosen, and then the effective establishment of prestress can be achieved.
