Torch ginger has a wide range of good antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer, larvicidal and repellent activities. Active compounds in Torch ginger that affect pharmacological activities are phenols, polyphenols, flavonoids, and terpenoids. Based on these ingredients Torch ginger can be used to heal wounds. This study aims to observe the effect of Torch ginger Umbut extract on wound healing in mice. This study hopes to add information about the effect of Torch ginger umbut extract on the healing of cuts in mice so that it can be another alternative for wound healing and can be a reference for other researchers. This study used a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Tests carried out on adult male mice. The results showed that the optimal wound healing in P2 is treatment with 10% Torch ginger umbut extract which requires a range of wound healing 7-8 days. Based on these results, Torch ginger umbut extract can heal wounds.

There is a need to search for solutions of minimizing aggression so as to minimize violence. The purpose of the study is to determine the effects of different levels of egg albumin supplementation to the aggressive behavior of male white mice (Mus musculus). Specifically, this study aimed to describe aggressive tendencies by isolation-induced fighting of male white mice when fed different levels of egg albumin; determine aggressive behavior in terms of the number of attacks and body scars when fed different levels of egg albumin; and measure dominant-subordinate status when fed different levels of egg albumin. White mice were chosen as test animals since they have homologous genes coding with humans. Furthermore, aggression tends to be more common among male mice than female mice. T-test results showed that there is a significant difference in the aggressive behavior between the treated and untreated mice in all treatments except for Treatment D (negative control) in terms of number of attacks and body scars and a significant difference in all treatments in terms of the dominant-subordinate status. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) showed a significant difference in the number of attacks and the dominant subordinate status. Overall, results showed that egg albumin supplementation reduced aggression in male white mice regardless of the level of egg albumin. It was concretely shown that treatments fed with varied levels of egg albumin significantly alleviated aggressive behavior compared with treatments without egg albumin supplementation.

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of L-arginine on the histology of primary spermatocyte count in mice (Mus musculus) after high temperature exposed. The subjects of this study were 20 adult male mice, 8 weeks old with an body weight range from 20-40 grams. This research conducted by using Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of, P0- = treatment with 1ml of aquabidest without high temperature exposed, P0 + = treatment with 1ml of aquabidest after high temperature exposed for 1hour per-day for 35 days, P1 = 1.3mg / day L-arginine dissolved in 1ml aquabidest and given orally after high temperature exposed for 1hour per-day for 35 days and P2 = 2.6mg / day L-arginine dissolved in 1ml aquabidest given orally after high temperature exposed for 1hour per-day for 35 days. Observations done by making histologic preparations of testicular organs and then calculated the total number of primary spermatocyte per treatment. The data of primary spermatocyte calculated and analyzed by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan test. The result from data analysis showed that there was a significant difference (p<0.05) between P1 and P2 with control, between P1 and P2 the analysis did not show any significant  difference (p> 0.05).

The objective of the present study is to detect the effects of methandienone on sperm head morphology of male (Mus musculus) mice. For this purpose 55 adult male mice were used and divided into five groups: both of the control -ve and control +ve (CFA) have consisted of 5 mice, and the other three treated groups consisted of 15 mice injected orally with three doses (low, medium and high) (0.125, 0.25, 0.5) mgkg body weight methandienone, with periods (7, 21, 35) days. At the end of the treatment periods morphological abnormalities of sperm were examed. The results showed the presence of abnormal change in the form of the sperms head morphology, the effect of methandienone was dose and time dependents. The significant abnormal shapes of sperms head were observed; they were swelling head, head acrosome loss, apical hook, hammerhead, acrosome defective and other abnormalities. From these results, we can conclude Methadinone has the potential to increase the rate of deformity of head sperm morphology when increasing dose and duration of the drug, indicating that may be a genetic damage happened affects the stages of sperm formation and this needs further studies and in spite of methandienone medical uses and advantages, dose and period of treatment must be determined by a doctor.

This study  was aimed  to know  the effect of Kebar grass  extract  on amount of mice  Sertoli  cell exposed  by TCDD.  This study was  experimental   study  with completely   randomized  design.  Thirty adult  male  mice  of Mus  musculus strain Balb/C,  age 11 weeks  and  weight   25 - 30 ~were    used.  Mice were divided   into five groups,   that  were:  K- was  control  (aquadest   0)   mL); K+ was  injected  with TCDD  at  dose  of 7 µg/kg   BW;  Pl  was  injected  with TCCD  and  administrated with   Kebar   extract   (0,045 mg/  g  BW/day);   P2 was   injected   with   TCCD  and administrated  with  Kebar  extract  (0,080 mg/ g BW/day);   P3 was  injected  with TCDD and  administrated with  Kebar extract  (0,135 mg/  g BW/day).   Kebar grass extract  was  administrated in 53 days.  Mice were sacrificed  and  right  testis organs were  taken.  Then, histology   preparat  with  HE  staining   were  made  and  Sertoli cells  were  counted.    Data were   analyzed  by  One  Way  ANOV A  followed   by Duncan test  (a  =  0,05).   The result  of this  study   showed that  administration  of Kebar  grass  extract  affected  amount  of mice sertoli  cells.  K+ (2,92a±0,109) showed significance difference  (p<0,05) compared   to Pl (5,00b±0,374), P2 (7,64c±0,409)  and P3 (9,68ct±0,363).  Meanwhile, amount   of Sertoli cells of P3 at the highest  dose  did not  show  significance difference   (p>0,05)  with  K-  (10,16<l±0,829).  The conclusion of this study was  administration of Kebar  grass  extract  per  oral in 53 days  could maintain amount  of mice Sertoli cell exposed  by TCDD.
