The number of inpatient visits in RSU Anutapura Palu, where in 2015 inpatient visits of 5,640, then in 2016 patient visits decreased to 5,451, in 2017 also decreased to 3,999 and in 2018 also decreased Drastic to 1,146 patient visits. This research aims to determine the utilization of health services in patients in general hospitalization in RSU Anutapura Palu. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Research was conducted from May-June 2019. The population in the study is a visitor (number of hospitalizations) at the General Hospital (RSU) Anutapura Palu. In this case the people who use health services in the General Hospital (RSU) Anutapura Palu recorded as many as 1,146 visitors (patients) in the year 2018. Primary data collection is through questionnaires and secondary data through the study of patient record documents and other supporting documents. The utilization of health services in patients in general hospitalization in RSU Anutapura Palu is well from the aspects of health beliefs, abilities and needs. RSU Anutapura Palu is expected to be able to improve the promotion of health services so that people use the health services provided.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the differences in health services utilization by users of Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and beneficiaries of Supplemental Health (SH). METHODS: A total of 288 adult subjects, residing in Belo Horizonte, who participated in the VIGITEL telephone survey in 2009, composed the sample, whose variables were analyzed according to the classification as users of SUS or beneficiaries of SH. Prevalence Ratios (PR), adjusted for sex, age and schooling, were calculated to evaluate differences between groups. RESULTS: Need and demand for health services were similar between groups, and users of SUS were less successful in obtaining service (PR = 0.78; p = 0.027). Most participants in both groups evaluated the health care received as very good/good without significant differences (72.1% for SUS, 84.0% for SH; p > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Although there are differences in the utilization of health services in Belo Horizonte, the service obtained is well rated by both users of SUS and health plans.

Background : Nutrition problems in toddlers become a public health problem when it exceeds WHO indicators in which the issue of malnutrition and undernutrition 17.8%, short toddlers 27.5% and thin toddlers 11.1%. The problem of undernutrition, short and thin toddlers are public health problem in the chronic category.Objective :  to determine the factor related to the nutritional status of toddlers in Loa Ipuh Health Centre. The design of this research is a cross-sectional study with total sample of 97 toddlers. Data collection uses anthropometric measurements, 24 hours of form food recall and questionnaires for mother's knowledge of breastfeeding complementary feeding and the utilization of health services.Method : Data analysis is using Pearson product-moment test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the food intake with the WAZ (P=0,000), HAZ (P=0,000) and  WHZ (P=0,021), mother's knowledge about complementary feeding with the WAZ (P=0,041), HAZ (P=0,010) and WHZ (P=0,010), utilization of health services with the WAZ (P=0,007), HAZ (P=0,009) and WHZ (P=0,006). Result : there is a significant positive relationship between intake of toddler feeding, mother's knowledge about complementary feeding and the utilization of health services with the nutritional status of toddlers WAZ, HAZ, and WHZ. Access to health services should be improved and evenly distributed throughout the health centre area.Conclusion : There is a significant positive relationship between food intake for children under five, maternal knowledge about complementary foods and health service utilization with the nutritional status

Background: Sweepers and sanitary workers are getting exposed to hazardous dust during their work. The health profile of the sanitary workers and utilization of health services are not clearly known. This study aimed to assess the health profile and associated risk factors among street sweepers and sanitary workers.Methods: A community based cross sectional study was conducted among 73 street sweepers and sanitary workers in a zone of Greater Chennai Corporation by multistage sampling method, during November 2016 to December 2016 using a semi structured questionnaire.Results: Among the respondents 67.1% were females, 2/3rd of them belonged to the age group of 30-40 years. Majority of them (82.2%) had reported to have musculoskeletal problems followed by respiratory problems (61.6%), ophthalmic problems (53.4%), skin problems (38.4%), mental health problems (39.7%). Most of the respondents had multiple problems. Musculoskeletal problems were more common among the female workers (p=0.002). Health problems like headache, fatigue, giddiness were more common among the workers who worked for >5 years (p=0.006). The utilization of health services was better among those workers who had formal school education (p=0.042).Conclusions: This study concludes majority of them have musculoskeletal problems followed by respiratory problems and ophthalmic problems. Usage of personal protective equipments and utilization of health services by the sweepers and sanitary workers were poor. Hence steps have to be taken to improve the health status by subjecting them to periodic screening and sensitization programs on usage of PPE.
