Good quality sleep gets fresh and healthy when awakened from sleep. Poor sleep quality is a risk factor for physical and psychological problems. The problem will arise activating the sympathetic nervous system which eventually causes an increase in blood pressure. So it is important to research because there are still many respondents who experience poor sleep quality with increasing blood pressure. To determine the correlation between sleep quality with blood pressure. Research design descriptive corellational with cross sectional approach. Population in this study is students of PSIK at Ngudi Waluyo University. The sample technique used purposive sampling. The number of samples  is 78 respondents. Analysis of research data used the Spearman Rank Correlation test. The results showed that the students who experienced poor sleep quality were 70 respondents (89.7%). The highest blood pressure of the students was systolic blood pressure of 110 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of 80 mmHg. On the relationship between sleep quality and systolic blood pressure with a coefficient (r) of 0.400, the strength of the relationship is interpreted at a low level. On the relationship between sleep quality and diastolic blood pressure with a coefficient (r) of 0.619, the strength of the relationship is interpreted at a high level. There was a significant correlation between sleep quality and blood pressure with p-value of 0,000 <0.05. Every workplace always has potential hazards. The potential hazards most often found inmanufacturing industries are potential physical hazards that can affect labor productivity. The purposeof this study was to analyze the relationship between working period and age of bead craftsmen withhydration levels. Respondents in this study were 19 workers in PT X Jombang Regency. This researchis an observational study with a cross sectional design. Data collection was conducted from April toJuly 2018. Statistical tests used correlation test in testing urin color indications to determinedehydration levels. The results showed a relationship between the variable work period and the level oflabor hydration with p-value 0.000, age variable with hydration level did not have a relationship withp-value 0.087 where the temperature in the workspace averages 34.1°C. There is a relationship betweenthe length of work and the level of hydration of bead craftsmen and there is no relationship betweenage and level of hydration of bead craftsmen. To reduce the level of hydration status, it isrecommended that every bead craftsman every 2 hours drink as much as 0.5 liters of water, so that theneed for fluids is approximately 2 liter in 8 hours of work can be fulfilled. Companies are advised toadd the amount of ventilation in the workspace to reduce exposure to hot temperatures in theworkspace. Keywords: Hydration level, working period, age

Introduction. There is a growing body of evidence for the role of vitamin K in cardiovascular health. As a cofactor of carboxylation of the matrix Gla protein it prevents arterial calcification. However, the data on the relationship between vitamin K status and the blood pressure are scarce, and particularly so in persons without the burden of cardiovascular risk factors. Material and Methods. We performed a pilot cross‑sectional study, in which we hypothesized that vitamin K deficiency is associated with a higher blood pressure in young, healthy people. The concentration of protein induced by vitamin K absence‑II (PIVKA‑II) larger than 2 ng/mL was chosen as a proxy for vitamin K deficiency; it was assessed in serum using ELISA. Blood pressure was measured using a validated, automated oscillometric monitor in triplicate.Results. Twenty‑three healthy subjects were enrolled (16 female; mean age 21.3 ± 1.6 years; body mass index 20.6 ± 2.4 kg/m2). The diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was lower in vitamin K‑deficient subjects (58 ± 9 vs. 67 ± 5 mmHg, p = 0.01). The mean arterial blood pressure also differed (75 ± 9 vs. 83 ± 6, p = 0.02). PIVKA‑II levels correlated with DBP only (Pearson’s R = -0.41, p < 0.05; Spearman’s ρ ns.). Stepwise regression identified PIVKA‑II concentrations as the only independent parameter associated with DBP (adjusted R2 = 13.1%; PIVKA‑II: β = -0.41; 95%CI -1.87-(-0.00098), t = -2.08, p < 0.05).Conclusions. The relationship between vitamin K deficiency and low DBP in young adults should be investigated further.
