This article is devoted to the analysis of socio-psychological problems of modern society. Modern society in this article is interpreted as transitive-turbulent, which is associated with the transition stage in the era of postmodernism. The work is aimed at finding methodological foundations for analyzing the features of modern society, as well as analyzing the problems associated with the new cultural ethics of a modern dehumanized society. The new realities associated with instability, multivariability and uncertainty of the future have given rise to many personal and socio-psychological problems. In new realities, people are looking for ways to cope with them. The article shows that the biggest troubles in these conditions are faced by teenagers and young people, for whom the most important age task is the formation of personal identity in conditions of multifactorial and uncertain future and blurring moral norms. In connection with these circumstances, education has an extremely difficult task associated with human formation in new socio-cultural conditions. The main purpose of this article is to reveal, identify and analyze the psychological problems associated with changing the social behavior of both individuals and various groups in a transitive-turbulent society.

Freedom, autonomy and responsibility are the ends of every educational process, especially in the modern society: globalized, rapid, in transformation; society in which each one of us is called to make numerous choices. Therefore, it is urgent to educate to choose and educate to the choice, so that young people can emancipate themselves from possible conditionings. To this end, the Montessori method represents a privileged way: child is free to choose his own activity and learns "to do by himself" soon; the teacher prepares the environment and the materials that allow the student to satisfy the educational needs of each period of inner development. Then, Montessori gives importance to adolescence because it is during this period that grows the social man. Consequently, it is important to reform the secondary school in order to acquire the autonomy that each student will apply to the subsequent school grades and to all areas of life

The seventh chapter argues for the importance of the social context in continuing to influence whether social cognition is engaged or not, and describes a version of the delayed sudden death virus outbreak thought experiment without the death and virus components, set in modern society. This chapter then reviews classical social psychological studies that illustrate the power of the social context in shaping social cognition and resulting behaviour. It describes different types of social contexts, and explores the role of consistency motives in guiding human behaviour. Finally, it makes an appeal for a spectrum metaphor for social behavior, rather than alternative metaphors that categorise the phenomenon too narrowly.

Rap music which has been popular since 2007 in Manggarai region, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, gave rise to rap hybrid phenomenon. The mixture between American rap music formats and local elements of Manggarai attracted the attention of young people in the region. One of the local songs that feature hybridity in rap Manggarai is "Molas Baju Wara" created by Lipooz, one of the pioneers of rap in Ruteng, the capital city of Manggarai district. To discuss this phenomenon, the concept of hybridity in cultural territory proposed by James Lull is adopted. This concept is used particularly to analyze the forms of hybridity reflected in " Molas Baju Wara" and the ways they are used in showing the social and cultural conditions of Manggarai. "Molas Baju Wara" was selected as the object of study because the song is clearly showing the characteristics of hybridity in music. The study shows that hybridity could be perceived in Manggarai rap music specifically in the use of local musical instruments like drums, cajon, and tambourine as a substitute for percussive sounds of drums, boombox, or turn-table which are commonly used by rap musicians in their home country, the U.S.A. In addition, there are elements of local sound such as the sound of rain that represents Ruteng as the rain city. Hybridity characteristics can also be found in the use of Manggarai vernacular in the whole lyrics as well as the narration of local themes and certain sites that represent Ruteng.

Youth is a social group reproducing both positive experience and negative trends in social transformations. Modern society, in turn, is characterized by complex, contradictory and multidirectional trends. A high proportion of risk and uncertainty gives rise to the social space collapse phenomenon and the of the digital environment expansion up to the formation of the digital reality, leading to the fact that virtual practices are formed alongside real behavioral strategies. The growing digitization and dating of the living space of a modern person actualizes the problem of young people staying in it and requires the analysis of the factors characterizing the life of young people, liminality and singularity being worth noting, first of all. The specific living conditions determine the young people’s consciousness characteristics, their social qualities transition from one into another, mutually complement each other and condition their social activity in the course of development. The latter, filling everyday life as much as possible, form its characteristic ways, channels and individuals’ and social groups’ self-presentation mechanisms.
