In this paper, we implement a voice data communications between sender and receiver through Wi-Fi. The system was designed and implemented using network stream protocol which was developed by National Instruments on Lab-VIEW between two devices. The device which acts as the sender was My-RIO board and the receiver device was Personal Computer. The voice data communication system was tested by observing the effect of various buffer sizes on the throughput, latency and CPU usage. The result showed that the larger the buffer size being used, the throughput values were also getting bigger. However, particular buffer size made the throughput became saturated. The change on the buffer size also directly affects CPU usage. It seemed that the buffer size did not affect latency significantly. It showed that the latency was stable with an average of 13 milliseconds on voice data transmission.

Smart home refers to the use of computers and information technology to control home appliances. The smart home system occupies sensors to acquire data for monitoring. One of the most important factors in designing a smart home system was the communication between devices that will be used. It requires high throughput and low latency communication so that monitoring can be done in real time and lossless. The communication network was designed to optimize the stream monitoring for smart home by reviewing the system throughput and latency. Lab-VIEW programming on My-RIO embedded systems was used to acquire accelerometer and voice data readings and send them to personal computer wirelessly. The network communication was designed by implementing network stream protocols between two applications which were planted in the personal computer and My-RIO system. The test results indicate that the network stream protocol did not require normalization of sensor data types while transmitting and receiving. The throughput values were affected by increasing buffer size but on certain conditions saturated throughput were experienced. The value of the latency is always stable with an average value of 13 ms even though the size of the buffer is enlarged.

Queuing theory and Markov chain analysis plays vital role in analyzing real-life problems. It is applied to wired network, wireless network and mobile communication to analyze the packet traffic in packet switched network. In this simulation and analysis, integrated communication system such as voice and data is simulated with different queue size for voice calls with different arrival and service rate and its results are analyzed to study the impact of buffering of voice and data calls for the proposed integrated wired network using Queuing theory and Markov chain analysis. We also propose to optimize the system characteristics in an attempt to provide better Quality of Service (QoS) for systems with integrated voice and data calls. The proposed models have two traffic flow namely voice calls (real-time traffic like audio) and data calls (data traffic like FTP). A single channel is assigned for voice and data calls. The incoming voice and data calls are queued when the channel is busy. Voice calls are delay-sensitive therefore priority is assigned to Constant Bit Rate (CBR) traffic voice request. For such systems, it is important to analyze the impact of buffering the voice calls as well as data calls for various mean arrival rates and mean service times for voice and data call requests. The impact of buffering the voice calls with different queue size, mean arrival rates and service rate are analyzed. These results of dedicated integrated voice and data communication system can be used for simulating any type of wired network. The minimum buffer or jitter required for both the traffic is calculated using Packet Delivery Fraction (PDF).

The article analyze current situation of the electric meter reading system, and given circuit of the remote automatic meter reading based on single-chip system model, and introduced in detail the key part of data acquisition, data concentrator and the monitoring center software, hardware implementation. The wiring complexity of the project has been reduced by using the technology of RS485 communication for data transmission, which has been improved the reliability of data communication system, and reduced power consumption. The results show that the terminal is normal and reliable.

<p align="justify">In the recent years, the data communication system become the main type of communication in the world. The FSK modulator or demodulator is one of the part that becomes the most important part and extremely advanced with the involvement of microwave active and passive circuits. This paper presents the data transmission analysis using MW-5000 at 5.8 GHz frequency. This experiment use the microwave communication module MW-5000 that is available in electronic laboratory. From this experiment the duration taken for the transmission of data is depend on the length of sentence and the value of baud rate.</p>

Nowdays the application of wireless communication system at the airport area is very important as it is used to support the services and savety of people. In the beginning the communication is done by using Handy Talkie (HT) and the communication is limited on voice. To increase the working operation and savety of public the data communication, besides the voice, is needed. This research is designed to use wireless communication using TETRA technology on frequency 450 MHz by counting the linkbudget and are coverage of the airport. The calculation shows that the more the distance between Tx and Rx, the bigger the pathloss will be. When the distance is 5 km, the pathloss reaches 144,46dBm on the antenna receiver 1,25m. Menwhile the Rx heigh antenna does not have any significance effect on the pathloss. The coverage area for the plan can reach the distance 3,3 km when the power of transmission is 33 dBm which is enough to cover the whole area of the airport. Keywords: TETRA, Link Budget, Pathloss, Airport

The development of structural health monitoring (SHM) systems and their integration in actual structures has become a necessity as it can provide a robust and low-cost solution for monitoring the structural integrity of and the ability to predict the remaining life of structures. In this review, we aim at focusing on one of the important issues of SHM, the design, and implementation of sensor networks. Location and number of sensors, in any SHM system, are of high importance as they impact the system integration, system performance, and accuracy of assessment, as well as the total cost. Hence we are interested in shedding the light on the sensor networks as an essential component of SHM systems. The review discusses several important parameters including design and optimization of sensor networks, development of academic and commercial solutions, powering of sensors, data communication, data transmission, and analytics. Finally, we presented some successful case studies including the challenges and limitations associated with the sensor networks.

It discusses the reasons of the data transmission time delay and packets loss based on the theory of net data transmission. Aimed to the question of the time delay of data transmission and packets loss, the control system models are set up to analyze their influence to the performance of the control system. Based on the synchronous control model analysis with wireless data transmission, a method to control the system is reached with the state prediction when the communication error or data loss appears. It can control constantly when communication errors appear, and also it can get the most error period by numerical analysis.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that is capable of passing voice traffic, in the form of packets through the network Internet Protocol (IP). IP network itself is a data communications network based packet-switch. The voice signal before experiencing bundled voice coding or format conversion of sound into digital form that can be passed over an IP network. Telephony, Internet telephony, or termed VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol. This communication system use VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), ie voice calls over data services (internet). This communication was developed using Android-based devices. Based on characteristics, android devices are open source, so users do not need to have a license to be able to have android-based devices. In addition, the android device that must be connected to a SIP (Session Iniation Protocol) is a data service that can be done with a paid subscription of the user of the operator using a conventional pulse. Telecommunications designed will use a hybrid system, the merger between VoIP communications with data communications GSM network. With basic calculations where Coding standards G 729, is a standard that can be used for voice communication system through data networks with rate of 8 Kbps. The implementation of the G729 codec is effect on communication systems VOIP.
