Air pollution is a risk to health and the vehicle emission is becoming a serious cause of the air pollution. Vehicle emission is influenced by many factors. The measurement of the vehicle emission can be achieved by the chassis dynamometer which can simulate the driving on the real road. The chassis-dynamometer-based testing can provide a repeatable experiment and precise emission evaluation under various driving condition. In this paper, we review the testing of vehicle emission based on a chassis dynamometer. The investigation results manifest that advance testing method for achieving the real-world driving resistance should be studied and better data analysis method should be proposed to get a more reasonable driving cycle.

The impact of driving cycle on exhaust emissions of buses in Hanoi was presented in this article. A typical driving cycle of buses in Hanoi was developed based on the real-world driving data, and it also was assessed that has a good conformity with the real-world driving data. The typical driving cycle and European Transient Cycle part 1 (ETC-part1) were used to estimate vehicle emission according to different driving cycles. The obtained results showed that emissions level of CO, VOC, PM, CO2 and NOx of the buses were very different between two driving cycles, especially CO2 and NOx. This paper, therefore, reconfirms the necessity of the development of the typical driving cycle before conducting the emission inventory for mobile sources. Tác động của chu trình lái tới sự phát thải của xe buýt tại Hà Nội đã được trình bày trong bài báo này. Một chu trình lái đặc trưng của xe buýt Hà Nội đã được xây dựng dựa trên dữ liệu hoạt động ngoài thực tế của phương tiện, và chu trình lái này cũng đã được đánh giá có sự phù hợp rất cao với dữ liệu lái ngoài thực tế. Chu trình lái đặc trưng và chu trình thử ETC-part1 được sử dụng để đánh giá phát thải của phương tiện theo các chu trình lái khác nhau. Các kết quả đạt được cho thấy mức độ phát thải CO, VOC, PM, CO2 và NOx của xe buýt rất khác nhau giữa hai chu trình lái, đặc biệt là CO2 và NOx. Do đó, bài báo khẳng định sự cần thiết phải xây dựng chu trình lái đặc trưng trước khi thực hiện kiểm kê phát thải đối với nguồn động.

This paper reports the results of an online survey that explores medical librarians’ roles and activities in supporting EBM practice. More than 500 medical librarians replied to the survey. Data analysis reveals that librarians have been taking on various EBM-related responsibilities both routine by nature and project-related.Cet article présente les résultats d’un sondage en ligne portant sur les rôles et les activités des bibliothécaires du domaine des sciences de la santé pour soutenir les pratiques de médecine fondée sur les preuves (MFP). Plus de 500 bibliothécaires ont répondu au sondage. L’analyse des données révèlent que ces bibliothécaires ont participé à des activités routinières et à des projets relevant du domaine de la MFP.

The massive use of cars in cities brings several problems such as traffic congestion and air pollution. Carpooling is an effective way to reduce the use of cars on the premise of meeting passenger transport needs. However, route planning will influence the efficiency of carpooling. By now, most researches on the route planning of carpooling mainly pay attention to minimizing the total driving distance of cars, but for passengers, the most crucial thing is to get to the destination as soon as possible. And in most cases, the minimum total driving distance of cars does not mean the minimal average arriving distance of all passengers. To address this issue, in this article, we formulate a novel carpooling route calculation problem with the objective of minimizing the average arriving distance of all passengers in carpooling. Then, we prove that this problem is NP-hard. To solve this problem, for the situation that the vehicle capacity is sufficient to deliver all passengers, we propose a heuristic algorithm named SimilarDirection with [Formula: see text] approximation ratio in delivery order calculation phase, where [Formula: see text] is the capacity of each vehicle. For the situation that the vehicle capacity is insufficient, we provide three algorithms named DelFar, Unchanged, and DelRan. Experimental results show that our SimilarDirection algorithm can produce less average arriving distance of all passengers than other three contrast algorithms in both the real-world dataset experiments and the synthetic dataset experiments, and DelFar has the best performance in producing less average arriving distance when the vehicle capacity is insufficient.

Abstract. Roleplay is defined as an activity where someone parodies their idol. A roleplayer plays a character of his own. In this game everyone does not know the real identity of each, so someone must make their own character. In this community there are several players who use male sex characters even though in the real world he is a woman. Most of them are aged 18-24 years with jobs as students and private employees. Roleplayer in this study has been playing in this community for more than five years and the original self is very different from the virtual self. In these conditions, there is a mismatch of perceptions between Actual Self, Ideal Self, Ought Self and Virtual Self, this is referred to as Self Discrepancy (Higgins, 2000). This research uses descriptive analysis method to find out how Self Discrepancy in K-Pop Rollayer in the Entertiment Community 'x'. The measurement tool uses a questionnaire (SDQ) Self Discrepancies Quitionnaire on 28 roleplay players. The results showed that as many as 64.2% of subjects experienced high self discrepancy and 30% did not experience self discrepancy. Abstrak. Roleplay diartikan sebagai kegiatan dimana seseorang memparodikan idola mereka. Seorang roleplayer ada yang memainkan karakter buatannya sendiri. Dalam permainan tersebut setiap orang tidak mengetahui identitas asli masing-masing, sehingga seseorang harus membuat karakternya sendiri. Pada komunitas ini terdapat beberapa pemain yang menggunakan karakter berjenis kelamin laki-laki padahal di dunia nyata ia seorang perempuan. Kebanyakan dari mereka berusia 18-24 tahun dengan pekerjaan sebagai mahasiswa dan pegawai swasta. Roleplayer pada penelitian ini telah bermain di komunitas ini lebih dari lima tahun dan diri asli yang sangat berbeda dengan diri virtualnya. Dalam kondisi tersebut terjadi ketidakcocokan persepsi antara Actual Self, Ideal Self, Ought Self dan Virtual Self, hal ini disebut sebagai Self Discrepancy (Higgins, 2000). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui bagaimana Self Discrepancy pada Roleplayer K-Pop di komunitas Entertaiment ‘x’. Alat ukurnya menggunakan kuisioner (SDQ) Self Discrepancies Quitionnaire pada 28 pemain roleplay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 64.2% subjek mengalami self discrepancy tinggi dan 30% tidak mengalami self discrepancy.

A GPS with the update rate of 1 Hz was used to collect the real–world driving data of the five bus routes of Hanoi, namely No. 9, 18, 25, 32 and 33, on weekdays and weekends. GPS data were processed and used to simulate the emission by IVE model. The driving characteristics of Hanoi bus system and their impacts on the emission were determined. Results obtained shown that the real –world driving characteristics are different from area to area and affect the emissions of vehicles. This paper, therefore, reconfirms the necessarity of the development of the typical driving cycle before conducting the emission inventory for mobile sources.
