This paper will construct a history of computational literary criticism (CLS) which has engaged statistical methods by providing an historical account of the journal articles as well as other publications which have advanced the field to the most significant extent since 1963. This paper divides the history of CLS into three distinct epochs, within each of which the methods and theories CLS scholars utilise undergo significant qualitative transformation. The decisive factor in each of these epochs is CLS’ relationship to traditional literary criticism. Partly as a result of this, CLS scholarship initially cleaves to organic theories of literary style and adopts a highly polemicised opposition to then-regnant post-structuralist theories of authorship.

The presented study addresses the issues of implementation of a quality management system (hereinafter referred to as QMS) in the efficiencyof public and municipal administration (hereinafter referred to as PMA) in the context of the digitalization of society. This study is relevant due to the fact that organizational and methodological issues of the theory and practice of QMS implementation in the efficiencyof PMA in the context of the digitalization of society in theRussian Federationare not sufficiently investigated.Aim. The study aims to develop efficien approaches to the implementation of QMS assessment methods in the field of PMA in the context of the digitalization of society.Tasks. The authors examine the methods, approaches, and prospects of improving the efficiency of PMA in the context of the digitalization of society; identify tools for the implementation of the QMS projects according to ISO 9001:2015 in the efficiency of PMA in the context of the digital economy; analyze data for improving the quality management of public and municipal services.Methods. The subject of the study is the developing filed of public and municipal administration in the context of the digitalization of society. This study focuses on the quality management system in relation to this sphere, including the quality management of public and municipal services in the context of the digitalization of society. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study comprises the works of Russian and foreign scientists, international standards and regulations pertaining to the quality of products/services and management systems. The methodology of the study is based on the application of the systems approach, with quality management considered as a system, the comparative method, and general scientific research methods – analysis and synthesis, benchmarking and comparison, generalization and systematization of the obtained data.Results. In terms of the prospects, approaches, and methods of development and subsequent implementation of QMS in the filed of PMA in the context of the digitalization of society, the authors substantiate the need to reach a new level of interaction between the government and local authorities and the citizens and business entities by switching this interaction to the digital, proactive, and remote mode. In the course of the study it is established that it is necessary to reduce the time and administrative costs of public and municipal services, oversight functions, and operation of public and municipal bodies. The risks that hinder the creation of a full- fledged digital economy are analyzed (including risk management using ISO standards). It is necessary to improve the efficiency of application of the electronic interdepartmental interaction system following the implementation of the QMS according to ISO 9001:2015. The results of the study include analysis and improvement of the parameters of public and municipal services, identifying the priorities of consumers to continuously improve the QMS and increase the level of customer satisfaction, legal changes and enhanced security of the information environment in the context of the development of digitalization in the field of public and municipal services. It is established that, along with the reduction of administrative barrieres, QMS implementation increases the quality and availability of public and municipal services.Conclusions. One of the vital goals of the ongoing administrative reform is to improve the procedures for the provision of public and municipal services. Implementation of relevant measures is a process that requires indicators of performance and efficiency of provision of public and municipal services. A quality management system built according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015 could become a proven tool. The theoretical and practical significance of the study consists in the development of approaches and methods for the examination of Russian and foreign practices in QMS implementation in the fieldof PMA in the context of the digitalization of society to further develop an optimal QMS project for this sphere.

Mathematical methods are only one moment in a layered process of theory generation in political economy, which starts from Schumpeterian vision, progresses to the identification of relevant abstractions, the development of mathematical and quantitative models, and the confrontation of theories with empirical data through statistical methods. But today the relevant abstract problems of political economy are modified to fit available mathematical tools. The role of empirical research in disciplining theoretical speculation, on which the scientific traditions integrity rests, was undermined by specific limitations of nascent econometric methods, and usurped by ex cathedra methodological fiats of theorists. These developmentssystematically favored certain ideological predispositions of economicsas a discipline. There is abundant room for New Thinking in political economy starting from the vision of the capitalist economy as a complex, adaptive system far from equilibrium, including the development of the theory of statistical fluctuations for economic interactions, redirection of macroeconomics and financial economics from path prediction toward an understanding of the qualitative properties of the system, introduction of constructive and computable methods into economic modeling, and the critical reconstruction of econometric statistical methods.

This given article reveals the topicality not only of destructive, but also of constructive, as well as hybrid conflicts. Practically it has been done for the first time. It also describes the history of the formation of both foreign and domestic social conflictology. At the same time, the chronology of the development of the latter is restored and presented objectively, in full, taking into account the contribution of those researchers who actually stood at its origins. The article deals with the essence of the socio-psychological approach to understanding conflicts. The subject of social conflictology includes the regularities of their occurrence and manifestation at various levels, spheres and conditions, including normal, complicated and extreme ones. Social conflictology includes the theory and practice of diagnosing, resolving, and resolving social conflicts. It analyzes the difficulties that occur in defining the concept, structure, dynamics, and classification of social conflicts. Therefore, it is no accident that the most important task is to create a full-fledged theory of social conflicts. Without this, it is impossible to talk about effective settlement and resolution of social conflicts. Social conflictology is an integral part of conflictology. There is still a lot of work to be done, both in theory and in application, for its complete design. At present, there is an urgent need to develop conflict-related competence not only of professionals, but also for various groups of the population.

This study first approaches the history of the observer’s gaze, that is, as observers, we are forming or constructing our way of visualizing moving images. Secondly, it reaffirms the importance and need of resistance of the teaching / learning of Art as a compulsory curricular component for high school. Finally, the third part reports an experience with video art production in a class of first year high school students, establishing an interrelationship between theory and practice, that is, we study video art content to reach the production of videos, aiming as a final result, the art videos created by the students of the Reference Center in Environmental Education Forest School Prof. Eidorfe Moreira High School. The first and second stages of this research share a theoretical part of the Master ‘s thesis, Making films on the Island: audiovisual production as an escape line in Cotijuba, periphery of Belem, completed in 2013.

This chapter surveys the history of classical Greek drama productions at the Department of Theatre Arts of Tel Aviv University as the basis for an exploration of the issue of theatre and art education. By analysing the students’ approach to classical Greek drama, we can see how they deal with the interpretative reading, translation, and performance of such texts on stage. We also see how the ancient works invite the students to delve more deeply into their distinctive content and forms; to draw links between theory and practice, and between text and context; to gain a deeper understanding of the issues of style and styling; and to engage in a richer experimentation with various aspects of stage performance—such as pronunciation, diction, voice, movement, music, and mise-en-scène.

AbstractThe tools for quality management are used for quality improvement throughout the whole Europe and developed countries. Simple statistics are considered one of the most basic methods. The goal was to apply the simple statistical methods to practice and to solve problems by using them. Selected methods are used for processing the list of internal discrepancies within the organization, and for identification of the root cause of the problem and its appropriate solution. Seven basic quality tools are simple graphical tools, but very effective in solving problems related to quality. They are called essential because they are suitable for people with at least basic knowledge in statistics; therefore, they can be used to solve the vast majority of problems.
