This paper discusses the existence of religion in globalization era.Religious values, which are private, sacral, and transcendent, interact with theglobalization circle, which seems to be contradictory with religion.Globalization is utilitarian  as its nature and it results in vanish of local values or cultures. However, none can avoid, neither can religious people. Responds to globalization frequently occur in extreme behavior since some people thinks that globalization will threat their existence in this world. Such responds make the people labeled as fundamentalists or terrorists, and many of them have religious background.  Some of religious groups extremely rejecting globalization can be found states of former USSR, Japan, and Iran. Finally, this paper presents the forms and  positions of  religion suggested by four figures, i.e. Immanuel Wallerstein, John Meyer, Roland Robertson, and Niklas Luhmann. They suggest that the religions will keep their existence if they adopt the values of globalization and make themselves the instrument of communication as well as political and economic interaction of the world’s interaction. Religion should evolve from narrow mindedness to a broader, new, and universal values.

The dynamics and hydrodynamics of ship capsizing include strong nonlinearities, transient effects, and physical phenomena that have not been fully identified or studied. This paper presents a study of some of the various mechanisms associated with this extreme behavior. A quasi-nonlinear three degree of freedom numerical model is employed to examine the effects of initial conditions on the ultimate state of a box barge model. The numerical results are then used to provide structure and understanding to otherwise seemingly inconsistent and ambiguous experiments.

Extremophilic endoxylanases grabbed attention in recent years due to their applicability under harsh conditions of several industrial processes. Thermophilic, alkaliphilic, and acidophilic endoxylanases found their employability in bio-bleaching of paper pulp, bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass into xylooligosaccharides, bioethanol production, and improving the nutritious value of bread and other bakery products. Xylanases obtained from extremophilic bacteria and archaea are considered better than fungal sources for several reasons. For example, enzymatic activity under broad pH and temperature range, low molecular weight, cellulase-free activity, and longer stability under extreme conditions of prokaryotic derived xylanases make them a good choice. In addition, a short life span, easy cultivation/harvesting methods, higher yield, and rapid DNA manipulations of bacterial and archaeal cells further reduces the overall cost of the product. This review focuses on the diversity of prokaryotic endoxylanases, their characteristics, and their functional attributes. Besides, the molecular mechanisms of their extreme behavior have also been presented here.

Abstract By considering the extreme behavior of bivariate random vectors with a polar representation R(u(T), v(T)), it is commonly assumed that the radial component R and the angular component T are stochastically independent. We investigate how to relax this rigid independence assumption such that conditional limit theorems can still be deduced. For this purpose, we introduce a novel measure for the dependence structure and present convenient criteria for validity of limit theorems possessing a geometrical meaning. Thus, our results verify a stability of the available limit results, which is essential in applications where the independence of the polar components is not necessarily present or exactly fulfilled.

Abstract. Swarm satellites observations are used to characterize the extreme behavior of large- and small-scale field-aligned currents (FACs) during the severe magnetic storm of September 2017. Evolution of the current intensities and the equatorward displacement of FACs are analyzed while the satellites cross the pre-midnight, pre-noon, dusk and dawn sectors in both hemispheres. The equatorward boundaries of FACs mainly follow the dynamics of ring current (as monitored in terms of the SYM-H index). The minimum latitude of the FAC boundaries is limited to 50° MLat, below which saturation occurs. The FAC densities are very variable and may increase dramatically, especially in the nightside ionosphere during the storm-time substorms. At the peak of substorm, the average FAC densities reach 3 μA/m2, while the quite level is below 0.1 μA/m2. The dawn–dusk asymmetry is manifested in the enhanced dusk-side R2 FACs in both hemispheres. Filamentary high-density structures are always observed confirming that a substantial fraction of R1/R2 FACs is composed of many small-scale currents. In the pre-noon sector, the bipolar structures (7.5 km width FACs of opposite polarities adjacent to each other) dominate, while in the post-midnight sector the upward and downward FACs tend to form more latitudinally extended structures of a certain polarity. The most intense small-scale FACs (up to ~80 μA/m2) is observed just in the post-midnight sector. Simultaneous magnetic and plasma perturbations indicate that this structure is likely a current system of a mesoscale auroral arc.
