The problem in this research is the low social studies learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya, by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model. The hypothesis in this study is that if the cooperative learning model (STAD) is applied, it can improve the social studies learning outcomes of students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya class. The results showed that the teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting showed an average of 70.83%, in the first cycle of the second meeting an average of 83.33%. In the second cycle, the first meeting was 87.50%, in the second cycle the second meeting had an average of 95.83%. Teacher activity in this study increased. Student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting with an average of 58.33% in the first cycle of the second meeting was 70.83%, in the second cycle of the first meeting an average of 75.00% in the second cycle of the second meeting with an average of 91.66%. Student activity in this study also increased. The initial data of social studies learning results showed that only 11 students completed with a percentage of 40.74% who did not complete 16 people or 59.25% of students who obtained a basic score above the minimum completeness criteria standard (KKM). In the UH I who completed 15 people or the percentage of 55.55% who did not complete 12 people with a percentage of 44.41%. At UH II, 24 people or 88.88% who did not complete were only 3 students or with a percentage of 11.11%. Social studies learning outcomes in this study are increasing, so with the application of the Cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD).

The research objective was to describe the improvement in social studies learning outcomes of grade V SD Inpres 12/79 Macope students after using the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model. The approach used is a qualitative approach that is descriptive, this type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The focus of research is the social studies learning outcomes of grade V students and the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model. The research setting was class V SD Inpres 12/79 Macope. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis which is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results of data analysis indicate that learning using the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model can improve social studies results for fifth grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Macope.

This research is motivated by the low social studies learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study is to improve students' social studies learning outcomes by applying a snowball throwing learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 022 Pulau Baru Kopah. The subjects of the study were the third grade students, which consisted of 20 students consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The type of this research was classroom action research with a collaborative form. While this class action research procedure consists of, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, the initial data completeness of social studies learning outcomes of students only 11 people or 55% of students who completed while 9 students or 45% did not complete. the first cycle by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes improved. This can be seen from 20 students, as many as 15 or 75% of students have been completed while 5 students or 25% of students have not been completed. In cycle II student learning outcomes increased again, this can be seen from the number of students who completed as many as 18 students or 90% while students who have not finished reduced to 2 students or 10%. The researcher can conclude that by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model can improve the social learning outcomes of students of SDN 022 Pulau Baruh Kopah.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide secondary social studies practitioners with a research-based adaptable lesson plan aligned with the National Council for the Social Studies Thematic Strands and its C3 Framework incorporating the digitized collection of the National Gallery of Art and Visual Thinking Strategies to foster historical understanding through a student-driven process of online gallery curation. Design/methodology/approach The author describes the connections between constructivist learning and technology integration in the classroom, linking technological, visual, and social studies literacy. The internet mediates student experience. It is both text-based and image-saturated; therefore, it is important for students to develop fluency with the written word and visual literacy. To remain technologically relevant, teachers must harness the potential of the internet to aid students with the development of their analytic and evaluative skills. The paper outlines an adaptable method for incorporating technology and art into social studies classroom practice in order to build visual literacy, historical understanding, and skills in evidence-based research. Findings The National Council for the Social Studies has outlined various analytic, communicative, and evaluative skills that students should acquire for social studies literacy. This paper provides insight as to how utilizing digitized collections of artwork has the potential to engage students in active, constructivist learning in order to acquire social studies literacy. Originality/value The paper is of value to secondary practitioners who wish to incorporate visual art, technology, and constructivist learning techniques in their classrooms.

Various problems that inform a teacher in the classroom are indicators that the learning motivation of students who receive the subject matter. If learning motivation is low, it will lead to low student learning outcomes because motivation is a determination and effort as a result of the interaction of the learning given by the teacher. The research objective was to increase learning motivation and improve social studies learning outcomes. The steps in the research through cycle I and cycle II include planning, implementing actions, monitoring and reflecting. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model could increase the social studies learning motivation from 68.75% in the first cycle to 78.13% in the second cycle. The application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model could improve learning outcomes in the classical social studies subject from 81.25% in the first cycle to 87.50% in the second cycle. Based on all the results of the research, "Application of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model to Increase Motivation and Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Human, Place, and Environment Material in Class VIIG Students of SMP Negeri 1 Adiwerna Academic Year 2019/2020" can be accepted.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to improve social skills and learning outcomes of social studies by using cooperative learning STAD models in six grade students of SDN 2 Tegalpingen Purblingga. This research is Classroom Action Research that uses the model of Kemmis and Taggart. The Techniques of Collecting data used observation and test. The result of the research indicated an improvement of social skills and student learning outcomes. It can be proved from the observation and analysis of data in each cycles. Improved social skills of students can be seen from the percentage increase social skills in the first cycle is 60% become 80% in the second cycle. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen from the increasing learning outcomes completeness in the first cycle is 60% become 85% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning STAD in social studies material role of Indonesia in the global era could improve the social skills and learning outcomes six grade students SDN 2 Tegalpingen Purbalingga.. Keywords: STAD cooperative model, social skills, learning outcomes. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe student team achievement division (STAD) pada siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Tegalpingen Purbalingga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan desain Kemmis & Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatkan ketermpilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Terbukti dari hasil observasi dan analisis data pada setiap siklusnya. Peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan persentase keterampilan sosial pada siklus I sebesar 60% menjadi 80% pada siklus II. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 60% menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning STAD dalam pembelajaran IPS pokok bahasan peranan Indonesia pada era global dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Tegalpingen Purbalingga. Kata Kunci: model kooperatif STAD, keterampilan sosial, hasil belajar.

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class III at Pekanbaru Public Elementary School 37 on social studies subjects. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes of class III at Pekanbaru Public Elementary School 37 by applying the cooperative learning model type picture and picture. The research subjects were class IIIB students at Pekanbaru Public Elementary School 37 which numbered 35 students. The results of the study showed that the application of the cooperative learning model type picture and picture can improve social studies learning outcomes of class III students at Pekanbaru Public Elementary School 37 in the academic year 2018/209. This was evident from the student learning outcomes in the basic score is 57.28 to 70.71, increasing by 23.45%. The average from the base score to the second cycle to 83.42 increased by 45.63%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the picture and picture cooperative learning model can improve the social studies learning outcomes of class III students at Pekanbaru Public Elementary School 37.
