Nowadays drinking coffee in a coffee shop become a trend and a lifestyle in Indonesia. At the first coffee shop is one kind of a food and beverages industries that only focus for served only coffee. But, as long as food and beverages industries getting bigger, coffee shops did some innovation to their menus. They are not only serving coffee, coffee shops has another option for non coffee people. The innovation has bring the new problem for consumer and it is called as a purchase decision. The purchase decision has some factors that maybe can impact to itself, one  of  them is product knowledge. This research is about to find the correlation between product knowledge and purchase decision in coffee shop “404 eatery and coffee”. This research used explanatory survey methods and used questionnaire as an instrument. The instrument separated into two questionnaire, the first questionnaire is about product knowledge which has fouth indicator :product attributes, the functional benefits, the pshycologic benefits, and points of product. For the second questionnaire it has fifth indicator : introduction of needs, information searching, alternative evaluates, buying decision and post buying decision. The result of this research showed that x variable (product knowledge) has  a significant correlation to y variable (purchase decision) with the positively and significantly of  regression result (0,98) Keywords: Product knowledge, purchase decision, coffee shop, coffee

Sistem rekomendasi saat ini sedang menjadi tren. Kebiasaan masyarakat yang saat ini lebih mengandalkan transaksi secara online dengan berbagai alasan pribadi. Sistem rekomendasi menawarkan cara yang lebih mudah dan cepat sehingga pengguna tidak perlu meluangkan waktu terlalu banyak untuk menemukan barang yang diinginkan. Persaingan antar pelaku bisnis pun berubah sehingga harus mengubah pendekatan agar bisa menjangkau calon pelanggan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat menunjang hal tersebut. Maka dalam penelitian ini, penulis membangun sistem rekomendasi produk menggunakan metode Content-Based Filtering dan Term Frequency Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) dari model Information Retrieval (IR). Untuk memperoleh hasil yang efisien dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan solusi dalam meningkatkan Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Sistem rekomendasi dibangun dan diterapkan sebagai solusi agar dapat meningkatkan brand awareness pelanggan dan meminimalisir terjadinya gagal transaksi di karenakan kurang nya informasi yang dapat disampaikan secara langsung atau offline. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari 258 kode produk produk yang yang masing-masing memiliki delapan kategori dan 33 kata kunci pembentuk sesuai dengan product knowledge perusahaan. Hasil perhitungan TF-IDF menunjukkan nilai bobot 13,854 saat menampilkan rekomendasi produk terbaik pertama, dan memiliki keakuratan sebesar 96,5% dalam memberikan rekomendasi pena.

PurposeWine choices are not always fully understood by academic researchers or the industry. This paper aims to outline and test a theoretical model proposing that wine consumption may be dependent on differences in consumer expertise, the hospitality situation, characteristics of the wine itself and an interaction of these variables.Design/methodology/approachThree empirical studies (total sample size = 356) tested these theoretical propositions. Consumers with varying levels of wine knowledge were presented with experimental vignettes showing videos of wine opening and pouring and were asked to pair wines with hospitality situations.FindingsStudy 1 found that consumers with low product knowledge were more sensitive to hospitality situations and extrinsic product attributes (closures) than were the experts. Study 2 found that wine hospitality situations fall into three predicted categories, namely, food, friends and formality, although contrary to prediction, the presence of food was the weakest predictors. Study 3 demonstrated the robustness of the three-dimensional structure of wine hospitality situations.Practical implicationsThese studies provided important practical information because targeting various market segments requires the industry to know what product attributes are favored by different groups of consumers different situations.Originality/valuePrevious researchers have discussed the difficulty of measuring consumption situations. By limiting these studies to wine consumption within hospitality situations, the authors learned much about how consumers’ characteristics, product attributes and the situations interact to influence not only product assessments but also choices.

Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengaruh inovasi produk dan product knowledge terhadap Brand awareness LetterPress.co” yang memiliki dua tujuan, yaitu: (1) Untuk mengetahui apakah Inovasi produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand awareness terhadap LetterPress.co (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah product knowledeg berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand awareness pada LetterPress.co. LetterPress.co merupakan bisnis start-up yang bergerak dibidang industri kreatif yang menyediakan produk custom yang fokus ke acrylic dan logam yang menjual secara online yang terletak di Surabya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh masyarakat yang mengetahui keberadaan dari Brand dari LetterPress.co. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 97 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran indikator pada kuesioner menggunakan skala likert. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS sebagai alat bantu dalam mengolah data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) inovasi produk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Brand awareness dengan nilai signifikansi > 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,184 (2) product knowledge berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Brand awareness LetterPress.co. dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000. Abstract: Fintech has developed into a new paradigm with great potential worldwide, including in Indonesia. Angsur is one of the Islamic fintech firms with university students as its target market. This study uses primary data obtained through a questionnaire disseminated to 316 undergraduate economics and business students at three state universities in Bandung. We selected Bandung as it is also known as an educational city with many well-known universities. This study uses the Mann-Whitney test to identify the mean difference in knowledge of Islamic fintech products and Angsur brand awareness of students based on age, gender, university, and monthly expenses. In addition, we use multiple linear regression to investigate the influence of demographic factors on Islamic fintech product knowledge and Angsur brand awareness. The result of this study shows that only university origin has a significant difference in Angsur brand awareness. Demographic factors do not affect respondents’ knowledge about Islamic fintech products and Angsur brand awareness. Besides, the knowledge about Islamic fintech products and Angsur brand awareness is still relatively low. Materials or courses about Islamic fintech are not available in the academic syllabus of the respondents. Thus, to improve the Islamic financial literacy of university students, it is necessary to add Islamic economic materials to the curriculum at the university level.Abstrak: Fintech telah tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi paradigma baru dengan potensi yang besar di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Angsur merupakan salah satu perusahaan fintech Syariah dengan target pasar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapat melalui kuesioner terhadap 316 mahasiswa sarjana di fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis di tiga perguruan tinggi negeri di Kota Bandung. Kota Bandung juga dikenal salah satunya sebagai kota pendidikan dan banyak perguruan tinggi negeri ternama. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan produk fintech Syariah dan kesadaran merek Angsur mahasiswa dan opini mahasiswa terhadap materi fintech Syariah dalam silabus perkuliahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney untuk melihat perbedaan rata-rata pengetahuan produk fintech Syariah dan kesadaran merek Angsur mahasiswa berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, asal universitas, dan pengeluaran per bulan. Kami menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk melihat pengaruh faktor demografis terhadap pengetahuan produk fintech Syariah dan kesadaran merek Angsur mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya asal universitas yang memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kesadaran merek Angsur. Faktor demografis tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan produk fintech Syariah dan kesadaran merek Angsur mahasiswa. Tingkat pengetahuan produk fintech Syariah dan kesadaran terhadap merek Angsur masih rendah, dan pelajaran tentang fintech Syariah tidak terdapat dalam silabus akademik perkuliahan. Sehingga, untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan Syariah para mahasiswa, diperlukan edukasi dan penambahkan materi ekonomi Syariah dalam kurikulum di berbagai perguruan tinggi.

Trading competition between companies is getting tighter, as consumers' needs for products increase. Consumers can now choose the brand of products they need. In the increasingly fierce competition in the business world, in line with the increasingly dynamic desires and needs of consumers. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the effect of product design on consumer buying interest in Eiger products. (2) to determine the effect of product knowledge on consumer buying interest in eiger products. (3) to determine the effect of brand awareness on consumer buying interest in eiger products. (4) to determine the effect of product design, product knowledge, and brand awareness together on consumer buying interest in eiger products. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 250 respondents drawn from the people of Bogor City. This research uses quantitative methods, and data collection is done by distributing questionnaires online. Sampling using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. With analytical techniques using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) which is processed using the AMOS 25 program. The results obtained in this study are product design influential and significant to buying interest, product knowledge has an effect on and significant on buying interest, product knowledge has an effect on and has significant influence on buying interest .   Keywords: Product Design, Product Knowledge, Brand Awareness and Purchase Interest
