SUMMARY This recommendation consensus for hypofractionated whole-breast radiotherapy (RT) was organized by the Brazilian Society of Radiotherapy (SBRT) considering the optimal scenario for indication and safety in the technology applied. All controversies and contraindication matters (hypofractionated RT in patients who underwent chemotherapy [CT], hypofractionated RT in lymphatic drainage, hypofractionated RT after mastectomy with or without immediate reconstruction, boost during surgery, hypofractionated RT in patients under 50 years old, hypofractionated RT in large breasts, hypofractionated RT in histology of carcinoma in situ [DCIS]) was discussed during a meeting in person, and a consensus was reached when there was an agreement of at least 75% among panel members. The grade for recommendation was also suggested according to the level of scientific evidence available, qualified as weak, medium, or strong. Thus, this consensus will aid Brazilian radiotherapy experts regarding indications and particularities of this technique as a viable and safe alternative for the national reality.

This article examines two anthologies of Palestinian women’s literature, published in Ramallah in the 1990s. Its objective is to map the writing trends of new generation Palestinian women writers whose works appear in the anthologies and to highlight the factors and constraints that influence their writing. The article reveals that while only a few stories focus wholly on a description of the female “self”, most of the stories relate to the Palestinian political reality in two principal ways: one which blurs the female presence almost completely, second which portrays the interaction between the political-national reality and the “female” reality. The article also illustrates how the nature of Palestinian women’s literature is influenced by the location of the writer and also by the extent of her desire to be “accepted” culturally and so to be included in anthologies such as those under discussion.

This is a study in political anthropology. The feudal-bourgeois characteristics of the groups which dominated the Arab national movement and the socialist workers'ideology that was central to Zionism in Palestine during most years of the British mandate are discussed briefly. The main part of the study analyzes the circumstances underlying the rise of a new Arab class formation and the meaning of a struggle for minority rights within Israel where the state employs political and other means, and ideological mystifications, in order to deny the implications of this Arab class and national reality.

The article analyzes the work of the outstanding Kazakh poet Otezhan Nurgaliev and the ideas of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger about the power of words and the essence of poetry in his work “On Poets and Poetry. Hölderlin. Rilke. Trakl ” on the basis of theoretical and methodological research in domestic science and world philosophy, it is also assessed whether the prerequisite for the emergence of language and the basis of the beginning of being is poetic. In the poet’s poems and reflections, the subtext of symbols and poetic images related to the spiritual being and social reality of society are traced, their significance in understanding the realities of modern society and modernity are determined. In the collection of poems «School of Athens» Otezhan Nurgaliev opened to Kazakh readers the wisdom of world philosophy and the ancient era from a new side in the language of poetry, which is close to its national reality. This approach was mastered by the poet through world philosophy and literature, as well as oriental culture, national spirituality, turkic traditions, and folk wisdom published at that time.

Palavras-chave: Currículo; Ensino Superior; Educação Física; Circo ABSTRACTThis descriptive research examines the ramifications of curriculum implementation of the circus as a component in the initial training in Physical Education in institutions of higher education of the State of São Paulo/Brazil. Narrative interviews to teachers, administrators and students were made to a total of 13 participants. Viewing the curriculum as a territory of disputes and power relations, the intense participation of teachers and students in teaching, research and extension has given visibility to the circus in the production of new knowledge. The study highlights the important role assumed by study and research groups that are active in these institutions, encouraging many students graduating today, as well as teachers, to incorporate this knowledge in elementary school, in social projects, among other professional contexts, some of them including groups with an artistic focus. However, the examples investigated do not constitute a majority of the Brazilian national reality, something that could be mapped by other investigations. Keywords: Curriculum; Higher Education; Physical Education; Circus
