Development of learning materials is one of subjects in the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education of Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo. This research aims to develop learning materials based on the value of local heroic struggle in Sukoharjo. This research is done using Plomb development model; the steps are: 1) preliminary investigation; 2) design; 3) realization/construction; 4) test, evaluation, revision, and; 5) implementation. Preliminary investigation consists of literature review, field survey and product drafting. Literature review was carried out by analyzing documents, from teaching plans, and subject books used by the lecturer. Field survey was carried out through observation in all colleges in Surakarta. The survey is conducted to obtain the information of learning materials used for teaching, learning strategies, and essence of local heroism. The learning material development aims to determine the expectation of lecturers in teaching and learning subject. Data were obtained by questionnaire, interview, documents, and group discussion. Data obtained from questionnaire were analyzed with the percentage and the other data were analyzed using qualitative, descriptive technique. Survey shows that: 1) most of the lecturers use proper learning materials; 2) strategies to maximize lecturers productivity drafting learning materials are through discussion, workshop, and practice of learning materials drafting; 3) the researcher expects that the books of this development boost the learning motivation of the students in the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education.

The teaching and learning process of natural science cannot be separated from practicum activities. Likewise, the practicum activities of natural science in bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education Program have their own characteristics. This study aims at examining the use of Natural Science Kits in the implementation of the practicum of natural sciences with the provisions contained in the practicum of natural sciences college subject of bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka. This study is categorized as a qualitative descriptive research. This study involved 177 undergraduate students of bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education Program, UT, which is spread across five (5) regional offices of UT, and it conducted from March to December 2018. The results of this study showed that it can be concluded that the practicum of natural science in elementary schools can be carried out using the Natural Science Kits belonging to bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education Program, UT, although the Natural Science Kits and its management activities still needs to be improved and refined.

This study is aimed to develop teaching materials, which is an English module for Elementary School Teacher Education Programs in Indonesia based on the integrated language skill approach. A number of 75 respondents from the Elementary School Teacher Education Programs at three universities participated in this research, they are from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in Bali, Universitas Mulawarman in Samarinda, and Universitas Negeri Manado in Manado. At the Elementary School Teacher Education Programs, no book with a practical model of integrated language skill is available at these universities. In collecting and analyzing the data, this study combined the research and development (RD) model of Gall et al. (2003). The process comprised four stages to develop this module, they are (1) preliminary studies and needs analysis, (2) product design and development, (3) evaluation, field test, and product revision, (4) and product refinement and dissemination. The data was gained through three instruments from questionnaires, interviews, and formative tests to measure the mastery of English teaching materials for primary school teacher education. The result of this study demonstrated that the module is feasible and effective for English Elementary School Teacher Education Programs at the three universities.

<span lang="EN-US"><em>Motivation in learning will influence the student to be a success. Four aspects that became part of the motivation is the fundamental aspects of attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to know the extent to which students ' motivation of elementary school teacher education on the basic concept of subject science. The method used is descriptive quantitative survey method; in this case, use the question form of student motivation. This research was carried out in April 2016. The subject of research is the 234 students distributed in University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya and the State University of Surabaya. The results showed that students ' learning motivation of elementary school teacher education in aspects of attention, relevance, and satisfaction are on the category quite nicely, while confidence is at a type less well this defines the that required increased efforts of student learning motivation on the subject the basic concept of science.</em></span>

The research aims to identify and analyze the transformation of Citizenship literacy in Elementary School Teacher Education students, in the implementation of distance learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the Citizenship literacy of Elementary School Teacher Education students in distance learning, is transformed in the form of an understanding of the rights and obligations as Indonesian citizens. Nationality Literacy of Primary School Teacher Education students is quite good, if it is analyzed from the depth of coverage regarding the rights and obligations as citizens. The results also show that the obstacle in the transformation of citizenship literacy is about the shift in learning patterns from distance or online.
