Abstract The traditional cigarette conveying system of cigarette industry adopts a one-to-one hard connection method, which has problems such as poor spatial scalability and high equipment coupling. A spatial layout method for carton conveying system based on the SOSG (Solid Orthogonal Structure Graph) matrix is proposed. Through this method, a matrix cigarette conveying system is constructed. Compared with the traditional mode, its space utilization rate is increased by 67%, equipment coupling is reduced, and the downtime rate of carton conveying line due to the shutdown of sealing machine can be reduced from 100% to 0%.

ABSTRAK. Bangunan rumah sangat sederhana pada permukiman padat penduduk pada umumnya merupakan bangunan yang tidak memenuhi syarat kelayakan sebuah hunian, Ketidaklayakan bangunan rumah tidak saja dari segi luasan masing-masing ruang di dalamnya tetapi juga dari segi kenyamanan ruang yang mencakup pencahayaan, penghawaan serta penataan perabot di dalam ruang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara besaran ruang dan tata ruang rumah sangat sederhana ini adalah metode deskriptif, berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Modul besaran ruang rumah sangat sederhana yang relatif sangat kecil menuntut adanya penyelesaian pada disain tata ruangnya. Dengan modul besaran ruang rumah sangat sederhana sebesar 3 x 3 m2 pemecahan masalah yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menata ruang dengan sistem split level. Dengan sistem tersebut memungkinkan terjadinya pemisahan ruang privat berdasarkan jenis kelamin serta pengoptimalan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami. Kata Kunci: modul, besaran ruang, tata ruang  ABSTRACT. A simple residential building in densely populated settlements, generally, is a building that does not meet the requirement of a dwelling, not laying the house not only in terms of the area of each space in it but also in terms of comfort space that includes lighting, air conditioning and the arrangement of furniture within a room. The research method that has been used to find out the correlation between space and spatial layout of this simple house is a descriptive method, based on phenomena that occurred in the field. Module size of the house space is very simple which is relatively minimal demands the completion of its spatial design. With the module size of a very simple home space 3 x 3 m2 problem solving can be done to arrange space with a split-level system. With such an arrangement allows the separation of private areas by sex and optimization of natural lighting and air conditioning.Keywords: module, dimension of space, layout

Reversible logic has been recently considered as an interesting and important issue in designing combinational and sequential circuits. The combination of reversible logic and multi-valued logic can improve power dissipation, time and space utilization rate of designed circuits. Only few works have been reported about sequential reversible circuits and almost there are no paper exhibited about quantum ternary reversible counter. In this paper, first we designed 2-qutrit and 3-qutrit quantum reversible ternary up-counters using quantum ternary reversible T-flip-flop and quantum reversible ternary gates. Then we proposed generalized quantum reversible ternary n-qutrit up-counter. We also introduced a new approach for designing any type of n-qutrit ternary and reversible counter. According to the results, we can conclude that applying second approach quantum reversible ternary up-counter is better than the others.

Streaming media is an important research direction in internet applications. In this paper, A Smallest Cache Utility algorithm based on Popularity in future (SCU-PK) is proposed. It comprehensively considered the merit of media time popularity and the smallest cache utility algorithm, using the entire file byte usefulness instead of the file segment bytes usefulness, so that a more effective byte usefulness calculation method and a more rational file segment popularity calculation method was designed and implement. The experiments show that the SCU-PK algorithm has better performance in increasing cache space utilization rate and byte hit ratio than LRU, LFU and SCU-PFUT in stream media proxy cache.

This paper shares the factors that affect space utilization rate in the Malaysian public higher education institutions. The factors, which gathered through a qualitative study involving academics and practitioners are, people, place and process. This helps the Malaysian public universities to understand what they can afford to put forward in order to achieve higher space utilization. Besides, academics and practitioners are encouraged to explore how space utilization can be embraced as a tool in managing space, especially for public higher education institutionsina developing countryy such as Malaysia.

A genetic algorithm was developed to optimize the spatial layout of military command centres. This paper describes a simulation experiment in which the impact of key algorithm parameters on its search efficiency was examined. The results confirmed the benefit of a large population size and a long evolution process for improving the search effectiveness. For the parameter that controls the rate of introducing new solutions (i.e., probability of swap), a medium level configuration was found to be superior. Results of this study provide guidelines and heuristics for configuring key parameters of the proposed algorithm so that its search efficiency and computational expense are best balanced.

Jorongan Village is as an area designated as the Furniture Industry Center of Probolingggo Regency, thereby leading to changes in some houses functionality from residential to business. This certainly changes the internal and external layout of the houses used for furniture business. The purpose of this research is to identify the spatial layout pattern of business houses in the furniture industrial center area of Probolinggo Regency. This research was carried out with the behavior mapping approach used to describe the existing space in each furniture business house. Therefore, based on the analysis results, there are four patterns of business function space layout, the first, second, and third are located at the front, side and partially inside the building, while the other part is located in the side. Furthermore, the pattern with part of the business function space is located inside the building, and partly outside the front and side of the house. The result showed that three houses had irregular patterns with different layouts from other businesses.

This paper presented a improved method of hash table, the algorithm based on transform and conquer, established a number of small-scale array, then imitated binary search processes and reduced the hash collision. Simulation results shows that , not only the continuous memory requirement is reduced greatly, but also that when the hash collisions occur, the searching efficiency is improved by an order of magnitude from O(n) to O(logn), the space utilization rate is also improved greatly.

While people tend to overlook marginal space, it is the most important space for communication and integration. This paper took the historic districts of Tanhualin as the subject to explore the spatial elements, spatial characteristics and crowd behaviors of different types of marginal space from the perspective of typology. Based on the number of active users and the space utilization rate, we evaluated the marginal space using image data analysis. This paper explored the design of marginal space, providing references on the rational development of marginal space of urban blocks and improvement of marginal space.
