Abstract A solar panel is one alternative energy solution that is widely used today. Solar panels consist of two main types, namely polycrystalline and monocrystalline. The two solar panels have physical differences and the ability to produce electrical energy. Therefore, we compare two solar panels in order to conclude which type of solar panel is the most effective in producing electrical energy. The area used is plateau areas with a mountainous contour and has low humidity and temperature. Data is collected for three days. The solar panels used have a capacity of 200 Wp each. As a data logger, Arduino and several supporting components are used. Polycrystalline solar panels produce a greater voltage than monocrystalline types from the first day to the third day. However the current produced by the two solar panels tends to be the same. The average total energy produced by polycrystalline solar panels is 665.46 watts and monocrystalline solar panels is 500.62 watts. It can be concluded that in mountainous areas it is more efficient to use a polycrystalline type of solar panels.

Energy that comes from the sun is energy without limits and never runs out. This energy is alternative energy that can be converted into electrical energy, namely by using solar cells. But people who live in remote areas will have difficulty getting electricity. Solar panels are an alternative power source. Solar panels are an alternative way to produce electricity. The production of good solar panels is an important thing that must be done to produce the desired electrical energy. The uncontrolled production process causes various types of defects that appear in solar panels. This study applies the Bayes theorem to classify data by estimating the probability that tuple X is in a class. Using thirty samples consisting of fifteen images of undamaged solar panels and fifteen images. The level of accuracy of image processing for identification of flawed solar panel textures by the Naive Bayesian Classifier method or Simple Bayesian Classifier is around eighty three percent. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for the initial detection system of damage that occurs on the surface of the Solar Panel

People can make solar energy alternative energy by employing solar panels to generate electricity. The utilization of solar energy on a solar panel to generate electricity is affected by the weather and the duration of the radiation, and they will affect the solar panel’s temperature. There are various types of solar panels that can be found on the market today, including Mono-Crystalline and Poly-Crystalline. The difference in the material used needs to be observed in terms of temperature changes in the solar module. Our study’s findings showed that a change in the temperature would impact the solar panel’s output voltage, and the solar panel’s output voltage would change when it was connected to the load although the measured temperatures were almost the same.

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is a promising alternative in the provision of electrical energy. In this study built PLTS to drive the load of water pump. The performance of water pumps is tested under various weather conditions. Performed measurements of some important quantities such as voltage, current and timing of the use of the PLTS to drive the water pump. Maximum yield with a one-hour charge occurs in sunny weather conditions at 11-12 WIB. A one-hour charge can move a 75 watts water pump for two hours. Solar panels are also directed towards the sun position resulting in a 40% increase in power at 12-13 pm. Keywords : PLTS, Output Voltage, Output Current, Maximum Power.

In the Modern Era, a source of electrical energy is very necessary, given the large number of electronic equipment that really requires a source of electrical energy. Solarcell is a device or component that can convert light energy into electrical energy. However, the energy used in this solar panel needs to be considered the efficiency of its use. Therefore it is necessary to monitor currents and voltages and loads in real time to determine the energy needs of solar panels for lamps. Monitoring of voltage, load and current on this solar panel is based on a microcontroller. The voltage generated by the solar panel and the battery voltage is measured using a sensor. It takes a Web and a modem device to send solar panel measurement data from a distance, with remote monitoring makes it easier to find out what the voltage and load is without having to be in place of the solar panel. Web as a control for lights, blackouts, dim and bright lights, on the web can monitor voltage and current values. The results of the microcontroller ADC are able to send data to the web. The data stored in the ms.excel file contains the voltage from the solar cell, the current at the load and the time when storing and charging the battery. The lights can only last 5 hours when all loads are active (ON), while charging (charging) for 13 hours when the battery is empty.

The paper analyzes the state and possible ways of development of alternative energy, describes the prospects for the development of solar power plants, their classification and areas of application. Within the research, we revealed the problems that arise when installing and operating solar panels and identified the reasons that reduce their efficiency. Consequently, we analyzed the ways to increase the efficiency of power generation by solar panels and suggested solar panel automatic positioning and maximum light flux direction tracking as a possible solution to the problem. The study introduces a new device for positioning solar panels, which is distinguished by the automatic deployment and positioning of solar panels according to the actual direction of the maximum light flux. The device provides possible automation of the installation and greater efficiency of solar panels. The novelty of the device is protected by a utility model patent no. 180765 RF. To confirm the efficiency and to obtain a quantitative value of the increase in power generation by solar panels due to the use of the developed device, we present the comparison methodology and a description of the experiment. The schematic diagram and external view of the developed device are also shown. The experimental results are processed and shown in a graph. The possibility of increasing power generation by solar panels by tracking the maximum light flux and reorienting the solar panel towards it during the day has been confirmed, and a quantitative value of the increase in power generation has been obtained. Based on the positive results of the experiment, the possibility of using the developed device for automating the process of deploying solar panels in an autonomous way and excluding human participation in this process is described.
