In our last two articles, we discussed various aspects of patents, This article discussed the related issue of copyrights: requirements for obtaining them, infringement, and remedies. The purpose of this article is to provide a basic understanding of the nature of copyright protection and then discuss the availability of patent and copyright protection, it is less clear on the general availability of patent protection fir computer programs. This is a very contentious matter. There are some who advocate strengthening of protection for computer software while there are others who would like to see computer software shorn of any protection under both the patent and the copyright laws.

Computer technology - whether it is hardware, software or the internet - is the headache that just won't go away for anyone grappling with the law of intellectual property. With the Copyright Act 1994, the New Zealand legislature attempted to meet some of the challenges but it largely avoided the issue, passing the headache onto the judiciary should any tricky issues arise. One such issue is copyright protection for computer programs. The Copyright Act 1994 makes it clear that computer programs are protected as a literary work but how far does that protection extend (or how far do we carry the fiction that a computer program is literary work)? This article attempts to second guess what level of protection our courts might provide. It argues that New Zealand has shown a willingness to protect functional items and would protect the "look and feel" of a program, providing a level of protection which courts in the United States have considered undesirable.

Abstrak- Perangkat lunak komputer atau yang sering disebut sebagai (software) mempunyai sifat yang berbeda dengan (hardware) atau perangkat keras komputer. Jika perangkat keras komputer dapat dilihat dan disentuh keberadaannya maka perangkat lunak pada suatu komputer hanya dapat dilihat saja tanpa dapat kita rasa atau raba bendanya. Lebih tepatnya, perangkat lunak tidak dapat disentuh dan memang secara fisik tidak tampak namun kita dapat mengoperasikannya. Namun walaupun tidak tampak secara fisik perangkat lunak sangat berguna dalam pengoperasiannya dengan adanya perangkat lunak suatu komputer dapat menjalankan suatu perintah. Sebagian besar dari software komputer dibuat oleh (programmer) dengan menggunakan bahasa pemprograman. Orang yang membuat bahasa pemprograman menuliskan perintah dalam bahasa pemprograman seperti layaknya bahasa yang digunakan oleh orang pada umumnya dalam melakukan perbincangan. Perintah-perintah tersebut dinamakan (source code). Program komputer lainnya dinamakan (compiler) yang digunakan pada (source code) dan kemudian mengubah perintah tersebut kedalam bahasa yang dimengerti oleh komputer lalu hasilnya dinamakan program executable (EXE).Kata Kunci: Software, ProgrammerAbstac t- Computer software or often referred to as (software) has different properties from (hardware) or computer hardware. If the computer hardware can be seen and touched, then the software on a computer can only be seen without our feeling or feeling. More precisely, the software cannot be touched and it is physically invisible but we can operate it. But even though the software does not appear physically very useful in its operation with the software a computer can run a command. Most of the computer software is made by (programmers) using the programming language. People who make programming languages write commands in the programming language like the language used by people in general in conducting conversation. The commands are called (source code). Other computer programs called (compilers) are used in (source code) and then change the command into a language understood by the computer and the results are called executable programs (EXE).Keywords: Software, Programmer

AbstrakSoftware (perangkat lunak) adalah sekumpulan data elektronik yang disimpan oleh komputer itu dapat berupa program atau intruksi yang akan menjalankan suatu perintah. Perangkat lunak adalah istilah umum untuk data yang diformat dan disimpan secara digital, termasuk perogram komputer, dokumentasinya, dan berbagai informasi yang bisa dibaca dan ditulis oleh komputer. ABSTRAKPerangkat lunak (Software) merupakan suatu istilah khusus yang dipakai pada data yang diformat. Serta disimpan secara digital yang di dalamnya meliputi program komputer, dokumentasinya, serta segala informasi yang bisa ditulis dan dibaca oleh komputer. Software juga dapat disebut sebagai sebuah bagian sistem dalam komputer yang tidak memiliki wujud nyata. Karena dikatakan sebagai software, maka software itu memiliki sifat yang jauh berbeda dengan dengan perangkat keras (hardware). Apabila hardware adalah perangkat yang nyata, dapat dilihat dengan mata yang jelas, sekaligus dapat dipegang secara langsung.Maka hal itu tidak berlaku pada software, sebab software tidak bisa dipegang dan dilihat secara fisik bentuknya. Meski software tidak nampak secara nyata dalam bentuk fisik, akan tetapi software dapat dijalankan dan dioperasikan dengan baik.Dengan adanya perangkat ini, bisa menggunakan komputer sebagaimana mestinya. Untuk membuat tugas sekolah, untuk mengakses internet, untuk memutar audio, dan masih banyak lagi yang bisa kita lakukan.Kata Kunci : Perangkat lunak komputer ABSTRACTSoftware is a special term used in formatted data. And digitally stored inside which include computer programs, documentation, and all the information that a computer can write and read. Software can also be referred to as a part of a system in a computer that has no real form. Being called software, it is said to be software that is quite different from hardware. When hardware is a real device, it can be seen with clear eyes and can be held directly. It does not apply to software, as it cannot be handled and physically looked at. While software does not appear in real physical form, it is, however, viable and well-operated. With this device, it can use computers as it should. In this article Mr Lahore examines the existing law relating to intellectual property and discusses whether the Patents Act 1952 (Cth) and the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), as they have been and may be inter-preted and applied, provide suitable and adequate protection for this computer software.

Nowadays, computer technology and social media can be used in certain ways to create positive or negative images of political communicators. More and more people receive political communication with the use of electronic devices via the Internet and social media. The ways in which one can create and transmit images of political communicators have evolved. Companies use new methods of gaining and delivering political information to receivers. At present, information technology is sometimes used not only to send political information but also to manipulate the receivers and change their political views in the fight for support and to win elections. Electronic devices, the Internet and social media, can be used to gain support or to defame political opponents. This paper has been written to bring closer how social media participation, computer technology and software can be utilized to obtain information which then, neatly tailored, can serve as a tool to manipulate political views of addressees of political communication. This article presents the procedure of obtaining, processing and applying information in creating images of politicians by private companies. It also analyzes people’s awareness of ways in which social media communication can be used in creation of political image. Hence, a survey has been conducted to research the participation of university students in social media and their awareness of how the data obtained from them can be used in for political reasons. The paper also explains how incorporating and combining social media platforms, psychology, algorithms, the Internet and cutting edge computer software opened new ways to impact political views with political communication.

The advent of a new brand of intellectual creativity, which followed developments in computer technology, created a considerable body of proprietory interests in computer software and data. There was therefore a search for legal instruments to provide protection against unauthorized exploitation of the intellectual property in them.Several legal paths were attempted: contractual protection, patent law, trade secrets law and copyright. Of these, the current opinion is that copyright law is the most suitable instrument to protect rights in software and data.

ProCD, Inc. v. Zeidenberg, which enforced a shrinkwrap license for computer software, has encouraged the expansion of the shrinkwrap form beyond computer programs, forward, onto the Internet, and backward, toward such traditional works as books and magazines. Authors and publishers are using that case to advance norms of information use that exclude, practically and conceptually, a robust public domain and a meaningful doctrine of fair use. Contesting such efforts by focusing on the contractual nature of traditional shrinkwrap, by relying on market principles, on adhesion theory, on commercial law concepts of usage and custom, or on federal preemption doctrine, feeds rather than resists this trend. This article argues that instead of regulating shrinkwrap itself, reinforcing an adjudicative environment that focuses on public values inherent in copyright and information policy is the best means of preserving fair use and the public domain as meaningful concepts.

Abstract The internet can be made as a way to transfer knowledge from lecturers to students, while Learning that utilizes the internet is one of the E-Learning Learning media. E-learning is distance learning that utilizes computer technology or computer networks or the Internet E-learning, so that it can enable the learning process through computers in their respective places without having to physically go to attend classes or lectures in class, Systems e-learning learning is a new way of teaching and learning. E-learning as a special learning media PAI courses provide a very important role and a large function in the course because so far there are many shortcomings and weaknesses such as the limitations of space and time in the teaching and learning process through E-learning which prioritizes the efficiency of learning so students get full teaching even though they do not have to be face to face, can also be accessed anywhere, anytime, according to the assignments given by the lecturer usually scheduled with a specified deadline. The development of education towards e-learning is a must so that the quality standards of education can be improved, E-learning is one of the uses of internet technology in the delivery of learning and its broad reach. E-learning  sebagai   media pembelajaran khususnya mata kuliah PAI memberikan  peran   sangat   penting  dan fungsi yang besar pada mata kuliah tersebut karena selama  ini terdapat banyak  kekurangan  dan kelemahan seperti keterbatasan ruang dan waktu dalam  proses belajar  mengajar melalui E-learning yang  mengedepankan keefisienan dalam belajar sehingga  mahasiswa mendapat pengajaran yang penuh meski tidak harus bertatap muka, juga bisa di akses di mana saja, kapan saja,  sesuai dengan tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen biasanya terjadwal dengan  batas  waktu  yang  di tentukan. Pengembangan  pendidikan menuju e-learning merupakan suatu keharusan agar standar mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan,  E-learning merupakan salah satu penggunaan teknologi internet dalam penyampaian  pembelajaran  serta  jangkauannya yang luas. E-learning  juga dapat menjadi jawaban dari suatu permasalahan kesehatan yaitu Pandemi Corona (Covid-19) ini yang sangat berpengaruh juga pada setiap aspek kehidupan terutama bidang pendidikan.Kata kunci  :  Keefektifitas, Pemanfaatan, Pendidikan Agama Islam,  E-Learning, Covid 19.
