We examined the relationships among gender, coping, and mental health in terms of probabilities. We selected a sample of university students (N = 131) aged between 18 and 32 years, and used the GHQ-28 and COPE instruments for analysis. The Bayesian network model that we constructed showed higher probabilities of symptoms of mental health problems for emotion-focused coping than for problem-focused coping. No differences were found regarding gender. This suggests that the use of problem-focused coping is more recommendable for both male and female university students, and it may also provide some benefits in terms of treatment of symptoms of mental health problems. However, to further verify our findings more research is necessary.

Nowadays, China is stepping into an aging society, and most people care about their personal health with the Chinese economic development. Chronic-diseases have become the major threat to the elder people in China. In order to ensure a real-time health care for the elders, we propose health cloud platform with IoT for community health service. The platform includes IoT health services subsystem, health cloud application service subsystem and data management subsystem. The System development and service scheme is composed of six parts according to the function: front-end data acquisitioning module, message middleware, storage center, data mining center, medical graphics image processing center and presentation layer. The health cloud platform has two main functions: real time medical care technology and personalized health service. The successful deployment of health cloud can take demonstration for others application, and promote itself cloud computing technologies development.

Abstract Background: The study aimed to explores the effects that a new management method for prevention and control of COVID-19 in the general hospital. Methods: The study conducted empirical research to explores the effect of the service system and the supervision in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the general hospital in China. Results: By comparing the efficiency, we can see that using the service system, combined with the grid partition grading supervision, can effectively prevent cross-infection in the hospital, protect the physical and mental health of medical staff. Conclutions: Constructing the health cloud platform management service system combined with the grid partition grading supervision has a significant effect in preventing cross-infection in the hospital and protecting the physical and mental health of medical staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Objective. To explore the effect of conducting intervention of college-based web cloud platform management combined with exercise on mental health and physical performance of college students major in electronic engineering. Methods. 650 electronic engineering-major college students were chosen and randomly split into the control group and the experimental group by number table method, with 325 cases each. Students in the control group did the conventional physical exercise, and those in the experimental group were intervened by web cloud platform management combined with physical exercise, so as to investigate and compare their psychological status, physical performance, quality of life, sleep quality, etc. Results. In the between-group comparison, the experimental group obtained remarkably lower PSQI scores, lower HAD scores, higher MMSE scores, better GQOLI-74 scores, better psychological capital scale scores and better physical performance (P all<0.05). Conclusion. Applying web cloud platform management combined with exercise intervention to college students major in electronic engineering can effectively improve their psychological health and promote their physical performance, which is worthy of application and promotion.

AbstractNeurobiology-based interventions for mental diseases and searches for useful biomarkers of treatment response have largely failed. Clinical trials should assess interventions related to environmental and social stressors, with long-term follow-up; social rather than biological endpoints; personalized outcomes; and suitable cluster, adaptive, and n-of-1 designs. Labor, education, financial, and other social/political decisions should be evaluated for their impacts on mental disease.
