The pandemic crisis and the linked infodemic are extraordinary cases to test the EU capability to manage the disinformation disorder, especially towards young people. This paper aims to analyse the impact of the EU communicative actions regarding disinformation about Covid-19, on trust and sense of belonging in young Italian and Spanish university students. The research presents an exploratory and quantitative study that uses a second-generation multivariate analysis method. The results show that trust can be very well the resource on which EU communicative actions may positively impact. Nevertheless, our study reveals that the EU in-stitutions measures have not increased sense of belonging in EU integration.

A study aimed to identify morphology variability of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) strain GIFT (Genetic Improvement of Farmed Tilapia) by using standard measurement and multivariate analysis method was conducted. Elevan characters were measured at 141 fishes representing 3 levels of age (0-3 month, 3-6 month and more than 6 month) of nile tilapia strain GIFT. Multivariate analysis of variance (manova) and Pricipal Component Analysis (PCA) were applied to explore the morphological variability. The result showed that body shape of fry (0-3 month of age) was different from fishes with 3-6 month of age (consumption size), also from the broodstock. At the early level of age, development of the body shape was growth in width and length. At the consumption size and broodstock levels, the development of body shape was growth in fat too.

The harmonious development of ancient city walls in China and their surrounding spatial forms faces a very complicated situation. In this study, the multivariate analysis method is used to coordinate, summarize and analyze the complicated influencing factors for objective data support, providing the objective reference and theoretical pattern to the reasonable protection and sustainable development for ancient city wall and its surrounding space. As a preliminary exploration of the study, this paper aims to establish the overall study framework.

The manufacturing tolerances of a hydrodynamic journal bearing system are inevitable in manufacturing process. To examine and understand the effect of manufacturing tolerances on the system stability can help engineers to confidently choose reasonable tolerances at design stage. This study presented a theoretical analysis method to determine and compare the effects of dimensional manufacturing tolerances and journal out-of-roundness on system stability by Taguchi method. The results show that the journal out-of-roundness has the most significant effect on the system stability and the journal out-of-roundness appears to stabilize the system. The authors suggest that both dimensional manufacturing tolerances and journal roundness should be taken into account in the design of cylindrical journal bearings.
