The use of pulp wash as an aid in the production of citrus juice has gained acceptance since 1957. Earlier use is known, but real recognition seemed to await a certain period in the development of frozen orange juice concentrate, and a freeze. The history of this product could be divided into three time periods each approximately equal. The first period of time was certainly formative in which the product enjoyed all of the advantages of novelty. The second period of time was characterized by increasing competition and need for lowering costs. This required that the plants measure the fruit in terms of pounds of soluble solids and that they recover as product all that could be had without an unquestionable damage to quality. The demand for more recovery of the soluble solids exceeded the capability of any mechanical finishing equipment to distinguish between the juice left on a quite dry pulp and the pulp, which still had good juice on it. This brought about fresh thinking and new processing ideas, including one of gently rinsing the juice from a wet pulp. This became known as “Pulp Wash” and was developed during the third period of time. Paper published with permission.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the conditions of co-crystallization of bitter orange juice with sucrose on the physicochemical properties of the product. Bitter orange juice was obtained with a mechanical juicer and concentrated on a rotary evaporator. Sucrose syrup 70 oBrix was subjected to heating and stirring of 1000 rpm, until a white color (118 °C) was observed. Bitter orange juice was added to the syrup, and the mixture was subjected to constant stirring of 600 rpm, to observe the formation of a particulate solid material. The co-crystals were dried, grinded and sieved. A dry co-crystal was determined: moisture, bulk density, solubility, water activity and repose angle. High proportion of bitter orange juice added (20%) and low content of soluble solids (50 °Brix) produced co-crystals with low moisture content (2.59%), water activity (0.52) and solubility time (69.4 s). High pH (4.5) of bitter orange juice concentrate produced co-crystals with low moisture contents (1.96%). The co-crystals of bitter orange juice showed good reconstitution characteristics (high solubility); however, these had high humidity (2.5 to 4.5%) and water activity (0.508 to 0.798).

Abstract The article sets out to demonstrate the continuing relevance of the concept of embeddedness in economic sociology, juxtaposing it with the question of disembeddedness through an analysis of three time periods. In the first period, the interpretation of the concept introduced by Karl Polanyi was marked by the notion of “social construction of the economy.” In the second period, the debate focused on criticizing the liberalizing agenda of the Washington Consensus, suggesting that its negative effects on economic development and social solidarity would force the state to retake control of the economy, re-embedding it. The third period acknowledges the specificity of the market economy through an analysis of neoliberalism as a political-institutional arrangement and a moral-normative system that produces “embeddedness on disembeddedness.” The article also discusses the re-establishment of social solidarity in an increasingly disembedded economy.

The process of gaining the importance of commercially important information in civil circulation has come a long way. The protection and disclosure of commercial secrets, which are among the objects of intellectual property, are becoming increasingly important for the legislation of Azerbaijan. The historical development of commercial secrets in Azerbaijan is closely related to the legislation of the Russian Empire. This was due to historical events. The history of the development of commercial secrets in Azerbaijan can be divided into several stages. The first stage is the feudal period, state structure and legal regulation of this period. The second period covers the period from 1861 to 1917. The third period covers the period from 1917 to 1991. The fourth period covers the period after 1991, the "restoration of capitalism". Nowdays, the protection of commercial secrets comes to the fore in connection with the relevance of globalization, integration and dynamic development of information resources, as well as the emergence of new obstacles and difficulties in legal regulation. Key words: commercial secrets, intellectual property law, Azerbaijani legislation, civil law, Tsarist Russia (Russian Empire), USSR, Azerbaijan SSR

This paper covers the forming of the Serbian Medical Society sections in the period until 1950, as well as the amendments made to the Rules of the Serbian Medical Society in 1919 and 1928. Prior to World War I, the Section for Tuberculosis was formed (1907). In the interwar period, seven specialist sections and one class section (Section of District Doctors for Belgrade, Zemun and Pančevo, 1931) were formed. After World War II, led by the all-pervasive enthusiasm in society of that time and the need for renewing and rebuilding all life segments in socialist Yugoslavia, new sections and regional branches of the Serbian Medical Society were established. The Section for the History of Medicine and Pharmacy was founded as the 16th section of the Serbian Medical Society, in 1950, and, in 1980, its name was changed to - Section for the History of Medicine. The first meeting of the Section was held on March 29, 1950. Professor Vladimir Stanojević, PhD, Medical Corps General, was elected the first President of the Section. The first lecture, delivered by Professor Aleksandar Đ. Kostić (Jedan stogodišnji srpski leksikon), is also described briefly in this paper. During its 70 years of work, the Section has experienced periods of rise and fall in its activity; while there has been formal continuity in its work, activity has been irregular (the regularity of the meetings, the number of communications, etc.), which is why its history can be divided into four periods. The Section achieved its best results in the first (1950-1978) and in its fourth (2009-2020) period. The second period (1978-1993) was characterized by a decrease in activity, while the third (1993-2009) was a period of complete inactivity. The Section had a fruitful publishing activity during the first and the fourth period. It was voted the best section of the Serbian Medical society twice - in 2016 and 2017.

Pertamina has a long history of oil trading and was influenced by the actors seizing for the power. The first oil shipments was held in 1958, while this research only discussesPertamina oil trading from 1969 to 2015 through a special subsidiary which was established to carry out the trading for almost fifty years since it was still named as Perta Group (1969) until Petral (2015). The purpose of this research is to know how Pertamina oil trading policy was specified and implemented over a period of time and parties affecting the process so rent- seeking and corruption happened throughout the history of Pertamina oil trading. The method of research a descriptive qualitative method of case study. The data was collected from various documents and interview of perpetrators related. Based on the research carried out, Pertamina oil trading from Perta Group (1969) until Petral (2015) could be classified into three periods, i.e. Perta Group period (1969-1978), POML period (1978-1998), and Petral (1998-2015). The first and second period occurred under the authority of the New Order government, while the third period under the reformation periodThe first period was characterized by the domination of military interests and the second period influenced by the interests of inner circle and family business related to the ruler of the New Order and the third period was dominated by the influence of powerfull person/company.

Maluku Province is one of the regions in Indonesia with a very active and very prone earthquake intensity because it is a meeting place for 3 (three) plates, namely the Eurasian, Pacific and Australian plates. In the last 100 years, the history of tectonic earthquakes with tsunamis that occurred in Indonesia was 25-30% occurring in the Maluku Sea and Banda Sea. Based on this fact, this study aims to analyze the incidence of tectonic earthquakes that occurred in the Maluku region and its surroundings using the Autoregressive Fractionally Integrated Moving Averages (ARFIMA) model which has the ability to explain long-term time series data (long memory). The results of the research data analysis show that the best model for predicting the number of tectonic earthquakes that occur in Maluku and its surroundings is ARFIMA (0; 0.712; 1) with an MSE value of 0.1156. Meanwhile, the best model for predicting the average magnitude of the number of tectonic earthquakes that occurred in Maluku and its surroundings is ARFIMA (0; -3,224 x 10-9; 1) with an MSE value of 0.01237. Based on the two best models, the prediction results obtained from the number of tectonic earthquakes and the average magnitude of the number of tectonic earthquakes that occurred in Maluku and its surroundings for the next three periods, namely the first period there were 31 tectonic earthquakes with an average magnitude of 4.38481 SR. the second period there were 32 tectonic earthquakes with an average magnitude of 4.38407, and the third period there were 32 tectonic earthquakes with an average magnitude of 4.38333.

The article proposes a periodization of judicial reforms in the Russian Empire, the RSFSR and the Russian Federation. The article proposes a distinction between the concepts of «judicial reform» and «judicial reform». There are distinguished and characterized six periods of judicial reforms in relation to the dynamics of the judicial system and legal proceedings in Russia in the second half of the XIX — XXI centuries: the first period (November 20, 1864 — July 1, 1899) — the judicial reform of 1864; the second period (July 1, 1899 — November 22 (December 5), 1917)) — the transformation of the judicial system and judicial proceedings created by the Judicial Statutes of 1864; the third period (November 22 (December 5), 1917 — May 25, 1922) — the judicial transformations of the first years of Soviet power; the fourth period (May 25, 1922 — July 10, 1923) — the judicial reform of 1922; the fifth period (July 10, 1923 — October 24, 1991) — transformation of the judicial system and judicial proceedings in the RSFSR, created during the judicial reform of 1922; the sixth period (October 24, 1991 — July 29, 2018) — judicial reform in the Russian Federation.

Abstract Objective We evaluated the change in mental health and sleep quality of college students at four time periods. Methods Mental health status and sleep quality were using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) questionnaire across four time periods. Psychology interventions were carried out from the third period. Results Students in the third period had higher PSQI total scores [mean (SD), 6.01 (3.27)] than those in the first period [5.60 (3.11)], second period [4.17 (2.10)] and fourth period [4.09 (2.80)]. After adjustment for covariates there was a decline of 1.89 points in the PSQI in the fourth period compared with the highest period. The SCL-90-R scores were highest in the second period [121.19 (47.83)], and were higher than the scores in the first [107.60 (52.21)] and second period [107.79 (27.20)] and lowest in the fourth period [97.82 (17.12)]. The decline in scores was 23.38 points after adjustment for covariates. The prevalence of psychological distress and sleep disturbances respectively decreased from 28.6% to 11.7% and from 10.4% to 2.6% comparing to the highest period. Sleep quality showed a significant positive correlation with mental health status. Conclusions The pattern of change in mental health status was different to that of sleep quality. The implementation of comprehensive psychology intervention may improve mental health and sleep quality. These findings may inform public health policy during the reopening of schools in other regions.

Which kind of relation exists between a stone, a cloud, a dog, and a human? Is nature made of distinct domains and layers or does it form a vast unity from which all beings emerge? Refusing at once a reductionist, physicalist approach as well as a vitalistic one, Whitehead affirms that « everything is a society » This chapter consequently questions the status of different domains which together compose nature by employing the concept of society. The first part traces the history of this notion notably with reference to the two thinkers fundamental to Whitehead: Leibniz and Locke; the second part defines the temporal and spatial relations of societies; and the third explores the differences between physical, biological, and psychical forms of existence as well as their respective ways of relating to environments. The chapter thus tackles the status of nature and its domains.

Euston Films was the first film subsidiary of a British television company that sought to film entirely on location. To understand how the ‘televisual imagination’ changed and developed in relationship to the parent institution's (Thames Television) economic and strategic needs after the transatlantic success of its predecessor, ABC Television, it is necessary to consider how the use of film in television drama was regarded by those working at Euston Films. The sources of realism and development of generic verisimilitude found in the British adventure series of the early 1970s were not confined to television, and these very diverse sources both outside and inside television are well worth exploring. Thames Television, which was formed in 1968, did not adopt the slickly produced adventure series style of ABC's The Avengers, for example. Instead, Thames emphasised its other ABC inheritance – naturalistic drama in the form of the studio-based Armchair Theatre – and was to give the adventure series a strong London lowlife flavour. Its film subsidiary, Euston Films, would produce ‘gritty’ programmes such as the third and fourth series of Special Branch. Amid the continuities and tensions between ABC and Thames, it is possible to discern how economic and technological changes were used as a cultural discourse of value that marks the production of Special Branch as a key transformative moment in the history of British television.
