In order to improve the design and the two-dimensional drawing identifying technology of freeform surface for the complicated components, such as turbine runner blades, based on the strong modeling technology of CAD/CAM and the software UG of CAD/CAM, detailed analyses three-dimensional modeling of turbine runner, then explain the design difficulties and three-dimensional effect of freeform surface, in order to resolve part of the design difficulties of freeform surface. Provide the original database for computer auxiliary fabricating and explain the practicability of CAD/CAM by analyses three-dimensional modeling of turbine runner.

Trench gate structure represents the latest structure of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor(IGBT). Because there are great differences in model analysis coordinate system and carrier transport between trench gate structure and planar gate structure, the modeling method using planar gate structure will inevitably have great deviation. Based on the characteristics of trench gate structure and model analysis coordinate system, the base region is divided into PNP and PIN by considering the two-dimensional effect of carriers. According to whether the trench of PIN part can be covered by depletion layer of PNP part, the specific base region current is analyzed. Finally, simulation and experimental verification are carried out.

Convinced that art should be an expression of life representing the vitality of the times, four architecture students in Dresden joined together to found Die Brücke [The Bridge] in 1905. The name, suggested by one of their founding members, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, reflected their intention to provide a bridge between the art of previous generations and that of the new era of the twentieth century. As the initiator of Die Brücke and its chief spokesman, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner had the audacious idea of renewing German art. He was joined by Fritz Bleyl, Erich Heckel, and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, fellow students studying at Dresden’s Technische Hochschule [Dresden Technical Institute]. In preceding years, both Kirchner, who had taken leave of absence to study art, and Bleyl had been working on woodcuts influenced heavily by the earlier Jugendstil. While Bleyl remained interested in the illusion of space, Kirchner had begun to simplify his style to include greater planarity, with jagged lines providing delineation and contour, creating a two-dimensional effect that was already indicative of his signature stylistic innovations of the future.

The two dimensional flow of an electrorheological fluid in a concentric cylinder, Couette type apparatus is investigated at different inter-plate speeds, voltages and axial pressure gradients. Test results at low, but realistic, loading conditions correlate with Bingham plastic computer fluid dynamics (CFD) package predictions, at each field strength. The package had been pre verified against an analytical solution for the same flow field. In all cases the liquid is taken to be isothermal. Indications are that the rate of throughflow should not interfere severely with the voltage set magnitude of torque transmission. Hence the cooling of slipping clutches by through flow can be contemplated. At present the investigation covers only the case of one stationary and one moving plate with no heat transfer or centrifugal terms.

The results of specific heat measurements on ordered In −51.67 at.% Mg are presented. A superconducting transition was seen at about 0.95 K. In the normal state, the lattice specific heat varies in the usual way with temperature, i.e., the Debye temperature initially decreases with increasing temperature. This behavior was also seen in ordered equiatomic CuPt but in ordered equiatomic CuAu I the Debye temperature first goes through a maximum before decreasing to the usual minimum. The structure of all three alloys consists of alternating layers of different mass and it was initially supposed that the CuAu I result was a two-dimensional effect. However, the more recent and normal results on InMg and CuPt make this improbable and it appears that the CuAu I result is related to the behavior of pure gold which is itself anomalous.

Design and advancement of the durable urban train infrastructures are of utmost importance for reliable mobility in the smart cities of the future. Given the importance of urban train lines, tunnels, and subway stations, these structures should be meticulously analyzed. In this research, two-dimensional modeling and analysis of the soil-structure mass of the Alan Dasht station of Mashhad Urban Train are studied. The two-dimensional modeling was conducted using Hashash’s method and displacement interaction. After calculating the free-field resonance and side distortion of the soil mass, this resonance was entered into PLAXIS finite element program, and finally, stress and displacement contours together with the bending moment, shear force and axial force curves of the structure were obtained.
