ABSTRACT Serratia marcescens strain ZZCCN01 was isolated from the cardiac blood of a dead beef cow with a lung infection and a foam-like secretion from the nostril. Here, we introduce the 5.1-Mb draft genome sequence, which comprises 105 scaffolds, and the corresponding annotation.

The genome of a Serratia marcescens strain (C7) that was found in the pitcher fluids of a Sarracenia rosea pitcher plant was sequenced using the Illumina platform. A 5,543,750-bp genome assembly was obtained. A total of 6,278 coding sequences are predicted from this assembly.

ABSTRACT The occurrence of multidrug-resistant Serratia marcescens strains producing metallo-β-lactamases or extended-spectrum β-lactamases represents a serious public health threat. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of a multidrug-resistant carbapenemase-producing Serratia marcescens isolate recovered from the bronchoalveolar lavage specimen of a patient suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

ABSTRACT We report here the draft genome sequence of Serratia marcescens ML2637, isolated from a South African pediatric patient in the intensive care unit with peritoneal cancer. The genome comprised 5,718,350 bp, with a 59.1% G+C content. There were 5,594 predicted genes, including 5,301 protein-coding genes, 199 pseudogenes, and 94 RNA genes.

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Pseudorhodobacter sp. strain E13, a Gram-negative, aerobic, nonflagellated, and rod-shaped bacterium which was isolated from the Yellow Sea in South Korea. The assembled genome sequence is 3,878,578 bp long with 3,646 protein-coding sequences in 159 contigs.

ABSTRACT Vibrio harveyi is a Gram-negative bacterium associated with vibriosis in penaeid shrimp. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of a V. harveyi strain isolated from Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) during a vibriosis outbreak. The availability of this genome will aid future studies of vibriosis in shrimp aquaculture.
