Arcobacter cryaerophilus was originally recovered from aborted bovine and porcine fetuses, but it has been subsequently isolated from meat, water, and human clinical samples. This study describes the complete whole-genome sequences of two A. cryaerophilus strains, ATCC 43158T (=A 169/BT =LMG 24291T) and ATCC 49615 (=CDC D2610 =LMG 10829).

We present here the complete genome sequences of plant growth-promoting Klebsiella sp. strain MPUS7, Serratia sp. strain NGAS9, and Citrobacter sp. strain LUTT5, isolated from rhizosphere soils and tubers of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) plants growing in the northern and southern highlands of Tanzania.

ABSTRACT Actinomyces sp. strain Chiba101, isolated from an arthritic leg joint of a pig raised in Japan, is a bacterium closely related to Actinomyces denticolens. Here, we deciphered the complete genome sequence of Actinomyces sp. Chiba101 and the high-quality draft genome sequence of A. denticolens DSM 20671T.

Here we report the complete genome sequences of two strains of the novel fastidious, partially acid-fast, Gram-positive bacillus “ Lawsonella clevelandensis ” (proposed). Their clinical relevance and unusual growth characteristics make them intriguing candidates for whole-genome sequencing.

ABSTRACT We report here the draft genome sequences of 10 Yersinia pseudotuberculosis isolates recovered from tonsils of wild boars hunted between 2015 and 2016 in Germany. Whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatic analyses were performed to assess the diversity of Y. pseudotuberculosis , which may result in human infections caused by the consumption of game meat.

ABSTRACT Raoultella terrigena is a bacterial species associated with soil and aquatic environments; however, sporadic cases of opportunistic disease in humans have been reported. Here, we report the first two complete genome sequences from clinical strains isolated from human sources that have been deposited in the National Collection of Type Cultures (NCTC).

ABSTRACT We isolated Thermus thermophilus strains HB5002 and HB5008 from Mine Hot Spring in Japan. Whole-genome sequencing revealed that they showed ∼100% average nucleotide identity to each other, ≥98.53% to the T. thermophilus strains originating from the same spot but ≤97.64% to the T. thermophilus strains from geographically different places in Japan.

ABSTRACT Pseudomonas marincola YsY11 and Pseudomonas oleovorans T9AD were both isolated from marine environments of the Pacific Ocean. Here, we report the whole-genome sequences of these two organisms. Pseudomonas marincola YsY11 consists of a single 4.77-Mb chromosome, and Pseudomonas oleovorans T9AD consists of a 5.57-Mb chromosome and a 2.8-kb plasmid.

ABSTRACT We present the complete genome sequences of two Xanthomonas euroxanthea strains isolated from buds of a walnut tree. The whole-genome sequences of strains CPBF 367 and CPBF 426 consist of two circular chromosomes of 4,923,218 bp and 4,883,254 bp and two putative plasmids of 45,241 bp and 17,394 bp, respectively. These data may contribute to the understanding of Xanthomonas species-specific adaptations to walnut.

Campylobacter spp. are recovered from a wide variety of sources, including birds, livestock, shellfish, and human clinical samples. We present here the complete genomic data for the type strains of Campylobacter fetus subsp. venerealis, Campylobacter lari subsp. concheus, Campylobacter sputorum bv. sputorum, and Campylobacter volucris.
