Three object-oriented analysis techniques: Shlaer & Mellor, Coad & Yourdon, and Document-Driven Analysis were evaluated. Criteria for comparison of analysis techniques were developed. These criteria state that an analysis technique should (1) cover data, transformation, and control perspectives of the problem, (2) address large problems through partitioning, bounding the problem, and supporting prototypes and incremental analysis, (3) provide approaches for verification and validation, and (4) support configuration control. A case study in a software engineering class was conducted using the three OOA techniques. Through the case study we found that (1) identifying objects is affected by notation and flexibility of object models, (2) visualizing global data, transformations, and control are necessary to capture end-user’s processes, (3) emphasizing hierarchical structures and third normal form divert the analyst’s attention from analysis to implementation, (4) an explicit representation of relationships is necessary, (5) peer review is useful in improving selection of objects and methods to support end-user processes, and (6) supporting a standard document from OOA products is not easy.

Abstract IR-OBIRCH (Infrared Ray – Optical Beam Induced Resistance Change) is one of the main failure analysis techniques [1] [2] [3] [4]. It is a useful tool to do fault localization on leakage failure cases such as poor Via or contact connection, FEoL or BEoL pattern bridge, and etc. But the real failure sites associated with the above failure mechanisms are not always found at the OBIRCH spot locations. Sometimes the real failure site is far away from the OBIRCH spot and it will result in inconclusive PFA Analysis. Finding the real failure site is what matters the most for fault localization detection. In this paper, we will introduce one case using deep sub-micron process generation which suffers serious high Isb current at wafer donut region. In this case study a BEoL Via poor connection is found far away from the OBIRCH spots. This implies that layout tracing skill and relation investigation among OBIRCH spots are needed for successful failure analysis.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing Law Number 23 of 2004 on Elimination of Violence in Household, as well as the factors that influence its enforcement. This type of research is empirical legal research with a quantitative descriptive in nature. This research was conducted in Makassar City to be precise at the Makassar City Police. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004 in Makassar City is still considered less effective. Factors affecting the effectiveness of the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004 in Makassar City consists of several factors, namely: legal factors; law enforcement factors; supporting facility factors; environmental factors; and cultural factors. in addition, environmental factors are the biggest factor affecting the effectiveness of the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004. It is hoped that the police will further strengthen environmental factors in order to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004 in the future.

This paper describes a method to decrease the additional measurement effort during a model calibration/verification to create reliable models for plant optimisation. The method is based on the deterministic processes creating the dry weather inflow to municipal treatment plants, which can be described by a simple influent composition model. This method was applied to two wastewater treatment plants of Lippeverband and the usability is indicated by the good correlation between routine online effluent measurements and simulation results. This paper presents one of these applications, the case study WWTP Dorsten. The resulting model is used to analyse the current plant performance, to analyse bottlenecks and to develop future improvements of operation and control of this plant. A selection of control options is demonstrated.

This study discusses the formation of students' religious character through humanist education at SMK NU 2 Kedungpring, Lamongan Regency. This research is a case study research using a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, seen from the data presentation technique in this study using descriptive methods. The method used in this research with data collection techniques is the technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the teacher acts as a trendsetter for the development of religious character through habituation, learning and interaction that emphasizes Islamic values. The factors that influence the formation of religious character through humanist education include the commitment of teachers who are not simultaneously in the development of religious character, besides that the lack of the number of religious teachers and the limited number of school facilities and infrastructure also affects the character building of humanist-religious students.

Based on the many fraud cases experienced by PT Bank UOB Indonesia, the implementation of the anti-fraud strategy at PT Bank UOB Indonesia refers to the implementation of policies issued by PT Bank UOB Indonesia in order to minimize fraud cases. This study aims to determine the policies and implementation of anti-fraud strategies at PT Bank UOB Indonesia. The object of this research is the Integrated Fraud Management Division. This research was conducted using a case study qualitative research method and using data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. The data collection techniques in this study were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Selection of sources is carried out by purposive sampling method, in which sources are selected with specific considerations and goals. The results show that the policy and implementation of the Anti-Fraud strategy have been implemented in accordance with Bank Indonesia Circular No.13/28/DPNP dated 9 December 2011 concerning the Implementation of Anti-Fraud Strategies for Commercial Banks, however there are still deficiencies caused by obstacles in its implementation. namely the lack of awareness of employees to report all indications of fraud, very minimal employee rotation, frequent information about surprise audits that cannot be kept secret, and the recruitment pattern adopted by PT Bank UOB Indonesia does not include material on fraud awareness.

The aim of this paper is to examine the criteria in the selection of the houses by the homebuyers in Melaka. The case study area was selected from Melaka in response to the report produced by Khazanah Research Institutes (KRI) in 2015 that claims Melaka is the most affordable state in Malaysia. This study applies the quantitative approach. The Yamane Taro 1976 sampling formula was used and 400 samples were selected. Three types of analysis techniques was utilized namely descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation and Relative Importance Index (RII). The study found that the three districts in Melaka were at affordable range for 2012 and 2014 and the income level of the household in Melaka was within the average income of Malaysia. Finally, it is anticipated that the study would give a clear picture on what are main criteria of better housing provision in Malaysia.
