In this paper, a control algorithm developed for a single-d.o.f. elastic-plastic structural system subjected to a dynamic excitation is presented. The algorithm is based on evaluation of the bounds for plastic displacement occurring during the motion1–7 and it can be regarded as an extension of the optimal norm control8,9 which works for structures with no plastic excursion. Analytical foundations and numerical tests are carried out, providing some general conclusions on the advantage of adopting an ad hoc non-linear control model and on its applicability to elastic-plastic structures.

Dynamics model and Electro-hydraulic proportional control model were established using Simulink and AMESim, Co-simulation was did based on the model. Control Performance of erecting system is Improved based on fuzzy PID control algorithm. Simulation results show that, Overshoot at level exchanging is small, the response is fast and the stability is improved based on fuzzy PID control algorithm.

Aiming at the superfluous force existing in the electric load simulator which can influence the load precision, the text researches the method to improve the control performance of the load system. The work principle of the electric load simulator was introduced, and building the control model of the load system based on, the whole electric load simulator control model was built. It designs feed forward compensation control algorithm. The simulation results proved that the method can solve the interference problem caused by superfluous force in theoretically.

In this study, we presented a boiler combustion robust control method under load changes based on the least squares support vector machine, PID parameters are on-line adjusted and identified by LSSVM, optimum control output is obtained. The simulation result shows control performance of the intelligent control algorithm is superior to traditional control algorithm and fuzzy PID control algorithm, the study provides a new control method for strong non-linear boiler combustion control system.

AbstractWe consider a macroscale model of transport and reaction of chemical species in a porous medium with a special focus on mineral precipitation–dissolution processes. In the literature, it is frequently proposed that the reaction rate should depend on the reactive mineral surface area, and so on the amount of mineral. We point out that a frequently used model is ill posed in the sense that it admits non-unique solutions. We investigate what consequences this non-uniqueness has on the numerical solution of the model. The main novelty in this article is our proposal of a certain substitution which removes the ill-posedness from the system and which leads to better numerical results than some “ad hoc methods.” We think that the proposed substitution is a rather elegant way to get rid of the non-uniqueness and the numerical difficulties and is much less technical than other ideas. As a proof of concept, we present some numerical tests and simulations for the new model.

Purpose The paper takes the air-ground integrated wireless ad hoc network-integrated system as the research object, this paper aims to propose a distributed robust H∞ adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm suitable for the system to distribute to solve the problem of control and communication failure at the same time. Design/methodology/approach In the paper, the authors propose a distributed robust H∞ adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm suitable for the air-ground integrated wireless ad hoc network-integrated system. Findings The results show that the integrated system has good robustness and fault tolerance performance indicators for flight control and wireless signal transmission when confronted with external disturbances, internal actuator failures and wireless network associated failures and the flight control curve of the quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is generally smooth and stable, even if it encounters external disturbances and actuator failures, its fault tolerance performance is very good. Then in the range of 400–800 m wireless communication distance, the success rate of wireless signal loop transmission is stable at 80%–100% and the performance is at least relatively improved by 158.823%. Originality/value This paper takes the air-ground integrated wireless ad hoc network-integrated system as the research object, based on the robust fault-tolerant control algorithm, the authors propose a distributed robust H∞ adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm suitable for the system and through the Riccati equation and linear matrix inequation method, the designed distributed robust H∞ adaptive fault-tolerant controller further optimizes the fault suppression factor γ, so as to break through the limitation of only one Lyapunov matrix for different fault modes to distribute to solve the problem of control and communication failure at the same time.
