This paper analyzes the mediating effect of absorptive capacity (AC) on the relationship between digital transformation from e-business capabilities (EBC) perspective and product innovation (PI). Structural equation modeling (SEM) was carried out with the survey data from a sample of firms that belong mainly to highly digitalized sectors. The results indicate the existence of a full mediation, which means knowledge derived from the digital operation of the business can only result in PI if AC plays an intermediation role. Hence, this finding calls into question the idea that digitalization alone and automatically acts as a PI driver.

<p>This study investigates the impacts of organizational innovation, technological innovation and absorptive capacity on product innovation as well as examines the antecedents of technological innovation and organizational innovation in one of the Tertiary Education Institutions in Malaysia. A total of 600 samples were distributed to the tertiary students. A questionnaire survey was adopted as the main method of data collection and structural equation modeling was applied as a data analysis tool. The findings indicate that: (1) Organizational innovation, technological innovation and absorptive capacity are positively related to product innovation respectively; (2) Technological innovation positively mediates the relationship between organizational innovation and product innovation; (3) Technological innovation positively mediates the relationship between absorptive capacity and product innovation; (4) Organizational innovation positively mediates the relationship between absorptive capacity and technological innovation; (5) Organizational innovation positively mediates the relationship between absorptive capacity and product innovation. The findings of this study do provide relevant theoretical, managerial and policy contributions in the literature.</p>

Studies that examine green banking practice from the relationship marketing perspective are limited. Bearing in mind the importance of loyalty to managers in the banking industry, and the increase in the call for greater sustainability performance from banking firms by customers, our study explore customers’ perception on green banking practice and its effect on bank loyalty. It also investigates the mediating effect of green image and bank trust in the relationship between green banking practice and bank loyalty. Through a quantitative survey, data for this study was adopted from 551 customers of the retail banking sector in North Cyprus. The structural equation modeling technique was used to test the relationship between the study variables. Results from the structural equation modeling analysis conducted indicated a direct and significant influence of green banking practice on green image, bank trust, and bank loyalty. Green image significantly affects bank trust and bank loyalty. No significant relationship exist between bank trust and bank loyalty. Green image mediates the relationship between green banking practice and bank loyalty, while bank trust does not mediate the relationship between green banking practice and bank loyalty.

Many researchers have focused on the impact of rumination and optimism on anxiety, but few have examined the trilateral relationships among these factors. In this study, we explored the mediating effect of dispositional optimism in the relationship between rumination and anxiety. Participants were 448 Chinese undergraduate students who completed a survey assessing rumination, optimism, and anxiety. The results suggested that rumination was positively correlated with anxiety and that dispositional optimism was negatively correlated with anxiety. Structural equation modeling further showed that dispositional optimism partially mediated the impact of rumination on anxiety. The bootstrapping test also revealed significant paths from rumination to anxiety through dispositional optimism. We concluded that both rumination and dispositional optimism can affect anxiety.

Research on the web of technological linkages that stimulate firm performance is still evolving, especially when they differ with industry, timing and location. Generally, firms in emerging nations need technologies to build technological capabilities; however in some cases firms are limited in their capacity to acquire the technology because of their low level of absorptive capability. The rising share of resource-based textile exports, which exceeds clothing exports, demonstrate that little or no functional upgrading has taken place in the clothing and textile industry of Pakistan. Hence, using structural equation modeling we examine in this paper the mediating effect of absorptive capacity on the relationship between technological capabilities and technology transfer, and firm performance in a sample of 503 textile and clothing firms in Pakistan. The results show that, absorptive capacity mediates positively and significantly the relation between technology transfer, technological capabilities and firm performance with the former being stronger than the latter.

This study investigated the relationships among resilience, social anxiety, and procrastination in a sample of college students. Specifically, structural equation modeling analyses were applied to examine the effect of resilience on procrastination and to test the mediating effect of social anxiety. The results of this study suggested that social anxiety partially mediated the relationship between resilience and procrastination. Students with higher levels of resilience reported a lower frequency of procrastination behavior, and resilience had an indirect effect on procrastination through social anxiety. The results of this study clarify the current knowledge of the mixed results on resilience and procrastination behaviors and offer practical learning strategies and psychological interventions.

Organizations needs knowledge creation capability and organizational forgetting to enrich their innovative performance in ever-changing business setting.The purpose of this article is to explore the influence of knowledge creation capability, organizational forgetting and absorptive capacity on Firm’s innovative performance. We test the model using Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze empirical data collected from 194SMEs listed in Sri Lanka inventors’ commission.The findings of the study show that in addition to their individually positive impact of knowledge creation capability and organizational forgetting on firm’s innovative performance, the absorptive capacity mediates the relationship between knowledge creation capability, organizational forgetting and innovation performance. As one of the first studies to integrate the  capabilities of creating internal new knowledge and unlearning outdated knowledge for advancing firm innovativenessthrough the mediating effect of absorptive capacity. A major implication of this finding is that absorptive capacity enhances the effect of knowledge creation capability and organizational forgetting on firm's innovativeness and affects the types of innovation strategies adopted by firms.

Digital banks based on new transaction systems, such as those developed in financial technology contexts, have begun to challenge and compete with traditional banks. Against this backdrop, in this study I examined how customer experience of digital banking, including usefulness, convenience, employee–customer engagement, and security, affected their satisfaction and reuse intention, and how customer satisfaction mediated the relationship between customer experience and reuse intention. To do this I conducted a survey with 247 Korean digital bank users. Structural equation modeling was used to test the relationships between the variables and further compare full and partial mediation models. The empirical results reveal that the four customer experience variables positively influenced reuse intention through satisfaction. These findings add to understanding of the mechanisms of customer reuse of digital banks, and provide practitioners with meaningful implications for developing strategies to improve customer and bank management.

We examined psychological safety as a mediator of the relationship between psychological capital and innovative behavior. Survey data from 136 university teachers in China were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results indicated that psychological safety partially mediated the relationship between psychological capital and innovative behavior. These findings suggest not only that it is important to consider psychological capital in understanding innovative behavior, but also that psychological safety plays an important role in the relationship. Limitations are discussed and directions for future research are suggested.

We examined the mediating effect of regret in the relationship between rumination and depression in new employees in China. Newly employed staff members of 2 Chinese firms (N = 376) completed a survey to measure their rumination, regret, and depression. We used structural equation modeling to test the mediating effect of regret in this relationship, and bootstrapping methods to assess the magnitude of the direct and indirect effects. The results indicated that the direct effect of rumination on depression was significant. We also found a significant indirect effect of rumination on depression through the mediator of regret. The findings extend those of prior studies and shed light on how rumination affects depression among new employees in China, in that regret can partially mediate the effect of rumination on depression.

As the demand for a more sustainable society increases, adopting a sustainable banking approach serves as a competitive advantage for banks that are focused on attaining bank loyalty. This study revolves around understanding the role of sustainable banking practices in bank loyalty while exploring the mediating effect of corporate image on the relationship between sustainable banking practices and bank loyalty. For this study, 511 questionnaires derived from customers of the banking sector were adopted. Results from structural equation modeling showed that sustainable banking practices positively and directly affected bank loyalty and corporate image, corporate image directly and positively affected bank loyalty, and corporate image also mediated the relationship between sustainable banking practices and bank loyalty.
