The purpose of the thermally activated building system design is to maintain the thermal comfort of the building indoor environment by securing enough thermal output of the system. For preventing the condensation on the thermally activated building system, the air system is mostly integrated with the thermally activated building system. However, the common design method in the standards only considers the thermal performance of the system itself and cannot reflect the effects of the air system. Thus, the design process of the thermally activated building system should include the consideration about the latent load and ventilation. In order to reflect the effect of the air system, the amount of sensible load removed by the thermally activated building system and air system should be included in the design process. The sensible load handled by the air system highly depends on the type of the air system and design consideration to prevent the condensation and maintain the indoor air quality. In this study, the air system choosing process was included by simulating and observing the sensible load removed by different types of the air system, and thermal performance adjustment in the design process was proposed.

According to the different fellower structure and general simple trapezoid motion law of cam mechanism, this paper established a mathematic model for the motion of fellower structure of cam mechanism. The design method of motion law of the fellower structure was introduced, and the law of motion transition of fellower system and the related issues with program design were studied. A design system was developed using VB code based fellower structure and general motion laws. And the system could solve the curve of motion law for the fellower system and the eigenvalue of the curve, and finally realize parametric design of motion law for the fellower structure of cam mechanism. And the system could calculate and output the coordinate of cam configuration, and improve the digitized design process of cam parametric. The interface of the designed system is friendly and convenient, and the system could be used in both engineering and teaching.

As an advanced design idea nowadays, to realize body’s healthy movement, healthy industrial design (be called HID for short) pursues user’s “health, happiness and joy”, Different types of limits will be treated dynamically for this goal during the whole design process. The adjustable limit will be treated by changing the subjective reason leading to it, while the un-adjustable limit will be treated by optimizing user’s behavior and producer’s structure, material, color etc.

Lattice structures of fuzzy flip-flops are described. A binary flip-flop (e.g. D, T, set-type SR, or reset-type SR flip-flop) can be extended to a fuzzy flip-flop in various ways. Under max-min fuzzy logic, there are 4 types of D fuzzy flip-flops extended from a binary D flip-flop, 136 types of SR fuzzy flip-flops extended from a binary SR flip-flop, and only one T fuzzy flip-flop. There is a lattice structure among different types of fuzzy flip-flops extended from a same binary flip-flop in terms of the order of ambiguity and the order of fuzzy logical value. These results show that fuzzy flip-flops under max-min fuzzy logic construct distributive lattice structures. Moreover D and T fuzzy flip-flops constructs Boolean lattice. And there exists a order monotone between two lattices of same fuzzy flip-flop under the order of ambiguity and the order of fuzzy logical value. Proposed analysis and results have potential to establish a fuzzy sequential system design method.

Nowadays a general platform has played an important role in the product design process. As the traditional similarity measure used in module division is to the design stage in which the features and set are static, it is impossible to find the similar components in alterative design stages. For this reason, a new common platform design method on extension-distance is presented. According to build the relative function, the threshold used in the key module identification is easy to generate. Then the tolerance-constraint functions in the customized components division for the common platform generation. Then the adaptability measure is used to find the optimal case in the database. The measure has been used in the gasoline saw common platform design process.

In order to provide more efficient knowledge services in the CNC turret design process, a rapid design method of a case-based reasoning is proposed. Firstly, according to different types of demand in case retrieval, the similarity measurement models for crisp and fuzzy attribute type demands are constructed respectively. Secondly, in the weights assignment, this paper utilized the deviation information of similarity values to calculate objective weights, and then combined the objective weights and subjective weights to form synthesis weights. Finally, the similarity measurement and weights coefficient assignment methods were applied in a CNC turret design CBR system, and using the calculation function of MATLAB. It was demonstrated that this method could improve the accuracy of case retrieval.
