This paper builds a coupling coordinated development model for urban-rural logistics based on coupling theory and synergy theory, designs an index system for the coordinated development of urban-rural logistics based on supply chain management, and determines the weight of the index system using the entropy method. Supported by official statistics, this paper measures the level and analyzes the changing trend of the coupling coordinated development of urban-rural logistics from 2001 to 2015 in China. The results show that, in the study period, the orderly development level of both urban and rural logistics was improved, and the coordinated development level of urban-rural logistics generally maintained a slow upward trend. However, the interactive coupling level between urban and rural logistics was stagnant, and the orderly development differences were gradually enlarged. This study suggests that setting up urban-rural logistics integrated systems, including material flow, financing flow, information flow, and commerce flow, has become an effective way to break through the division between urban and rural logistics and realize the coordinated development of urban-rural logistics.

Firstly, this article uses the Entropy method to calculate the weights of economic development and ecological environment indicators in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province from 2005 to 2019. Secondly, this article uses the calculated weights and linear weighting functions to construct evaluation models for economic development and ecological environment development, respectively. The results show that the comprehensive development level of the economic development in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province cities is gradually rising, and the comprehensive development level of the ecological environment fluctuates slightly but the overall development trend is increasing. Then, using the Environmental-Economic Coordination degree evaluation model, quantitative analysis and evaluation of the Environmental-Economic system coordination degree, it is found that the coordinated development of the economic and ecological environment of the eastern urban agglomeration in Qinghai Province is relatively well. Finally, it analysis and proposes countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of the economic and environmental system of the eastern urban agglomeration in Qinghai Province.

Based on four categories of indexes including intensity indexes, system indexes, supporting indexes and characteristic indexes, this paper combines with actual characteristics of Chinese ports, discusses about and builds a green and low-carbon port evaluation index system, and puts forward a set of simple and practical evaluation methods and standards. With case study of Guangzhou Port, this paper also conducts empirical evaluation of current development level in 2013 and planning level in 2020 respectively, and verifies scientific validity of the index system.

Scientific and practical crane evaluation index system is expected to obtain by screening of indices in this paper. The initial comprehensive evaluation indices are selected by stratification. Then the quantitative indices are screened by entropy method and Pearson correlation coefficient method, and the qualitative indices are screened by Delphi method and Spearman correlation coefficient method. The little effect indices on the evaluation result are deleted and the redundant information between the indices are got rid of. The index system simplified is comprehensiveness and representative, which is convenient to compare and evaluate cranes.

Applying composite index leading to an evaluation index system of urban-rural integration, using entropy method for secondary weighting, a model is constructed of quantitative analysis of the regional urban-rural integration. This paper has made a quantitative analysis of the development levels of regional urban-rural integration in the case of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone. The research results show that in the problem of multi-target integrated evaluation, the application of composite index, constructing evaluation index system, enables the evaluation process to cover more assessment information without any increase in calculation steps. Application of the model presented in this paper makes feasible a quantitative analysis of the regional urban-rural development.

Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong Province, which is currently in a stage of transformation and development. This paper takes Guangzhou’s ecological economy, ecological society, ecological environment as the research objects and constructs an evaluation index system for Guangzhou’s ecological liveability. It takes social progress, economic development and environmental protection as the primary indicators. The index system is used to construct the ecological livability evaluation index system of Guangzhou through the entropy method.

This paper aims to construct an index system of evaluating food safety status, composed of three sub-systems—quantity safety, quality safety, and development safety. The index system is designed to collect annual data from 2005 to 2017 and run a chronological evaluation on China’s food safety status based on an entropy method. The evaluation results indicate that though China’s food safety supervision effect has been stably sound, the highest score is 0.7392 (in 2017). In addition, the proportions of the above three sub-systems were changed towards a balanced trend, with quality safety rising from less than 7% to 36.19% as a significant part of the evaluation of the effect of food safety supervision. In terms of single indexes, agrochemical input intensity and the ontology of agro-production safety have made relatively great contributions, while the indexes that embody price safety lack stability, and the roles of indexes related to development safety in the effect of food safety supervision have been increasingly recognized and valued.

The 14th Five-Year Plan of China proposes promoting urbanization construction, with counties as an important carrier. In order to evaluate the urbanization development level of counties in Western China, this study established an index system of population, land, and industry, constructed the coupling coordination model, selected Shaanxi Province as a representative case, and evaluated the comprehensive development level and its coordination degree of urbanization at the county level. The results show that: (1) there are two stages of urbanization in Western counties, namely “increment” and “quality improvement”; (2) county urbanization in Western China radiates from central cities, presenting the characteristics of a “core-edge” circle structure. Northern Shaanxi has significant spatial difference characteristics, the coordination and development level of the Guanzhong area are both in the lead, and Southern Shaanxi is still in the stage of weak level coordination; (3) unlike urbanization in metropolises, urbanization in Western counties is mainly driven by industrial agglomeration instead of land urbanization. However, population outflow is an obstacle to the urbanization of Western counties. The evaluation of the coordinated development of county urbanization can provide a theoretical basis and practical path for enhancing public service functions in counties, guiding urban–rural harmonious development.

In recent years, there have been concerns raised about construction industrialization inChina, which have initiated a wave of policy change in both governmental and industrialorganizations in order to change the mode of conventional construction. However, the currentdevelopment level of regional construction industrialization (RCI) in China has not beenwell-characterized. This study screened preliminary index systems in five dimensions: technical, economic, sustainable, enterprise development and development environment. Based on the datagathered from the questionnaire surveys and subsequently analyzed, twenty-two critical evaluationindicators were identified. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was then employed to determine theweighting of each indicator. The evaluation method of the development level was formulated on thebasis of the evaluation criteria. Jiangsu Province was used as an example in this study, with thedevelopment level of this province being comprehensively examined using a combination of theindex system and evaluation method. The results show that Jiangsu has a relatively high RCIdevelopment level. The data from analysis scores of five dimensions and twenty-two indicatorsshow that the index system is feasible, with evaluation results being consistent with actual practice. These findings provide a good practical reference for making decisions about how best to guide thedevelopment of RCI.

By constructing the environmental and economic development model, this paper analyzed the coordinated degree on environment and the economy in 31 provinces of China. The results showed that, the differences on economy and environment are great in various regions. From the economic development level, we could see that the eastern regions were the best, the central were the better and the west were the worst. From the environment development level, we could see that the western region is the best, the east is better, and the middle is the worst. From the coordinated degree of environment and economy, the eastern region obviously were higher than that in the midwest, and the economy and environment in eastern regions formed the benign coordinated development, but the midwest fails to form a positive development situation.
