The aim of the present research was to study the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of employees working in private sector organizations of Peshawar, Pakistan. For that purpose, one hundred and eighty employees (N = 180) were selected as a sample from private organizations of Peshawar. An equal number of employees, i.e., (n = 60), were selected through random sampling method from three types of organizations, viz., hospitals, banks, and universities. A Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ-short form) developed by Weiss et al. (1967) and a self-constructed Performance Evaluation Form (PRF) were used as instruments for the study. Initially, the reliability statistics of both the instruments was calculated to know the significance of the scales. According to the findings of the study, the type of occupation has been shown significant correlation with job satisfaction. Similarly, the positive relationship of job satisfaction with performance of employees was also confirmed. Therefore, it is concluded from the study that satisfied employees were better in performance as compared to dissatisfied employees, thus contributing significant role in the uplifting of their organizations. As there are unstable economic and political conditions of Peshawar, it is therefore necessary for every organization to make their employees motivated and satisfied towards high performance by adopting different techniques and methods.

One effort that can be done to improve the performance of the company’s employees of such companies is to conduct employee training. This research uses the sampling method sampling with nonprobability saturated, while the techniques of data collection are done by doing a spread of questionnaires to the 110 respondents, The data analysis method in this research tests for assumptions of classical, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, hypothesis test, and regression analysis. The result obtained in this study that the training provided at PDAM Tirta Bumi Wibawa Sukabumi to employees classified as good or high, performance in PDAM Tirta Bumi Wibawa Sukabumi is also good. Based on the research tha has been done, the regression equation is Y +43.163 + 0.392X. results of the study stated that in PDAM Tirta Bumi Wibawa Kota Sukabumi job training and the performance of the employees have a positive relationship of 0.396 and training work affect the performance of the employees of 15.7% and 84,3% explained by other factors by the salary, work environment, organizational culture, leadership and motivation.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the nature and extent of interorganizational linkages between the partners involved in Canada's sport delivery system. Given the changes in the economic context of the 1990s and the ensuing fiscal restraints exercised by both government and the private sector, amateur sport organizations are in a period of high uncertainty. In order to deal with this uncertainty, links between organizations like governments, nonprofit sport organizations, and private sector organizations need to be established, fostered, and maintained. Organizations need to collaborate with each other in order to fulfill their objectives. Linkages between organizations will assist in the sharing of resources and in the coordination of work-related activities. In the paper, a number of examples of existing links between governments, nonprofit organizations, and private organizations are presented. Based on resource dependency theory, strategies such as contracts, joint ventures, and co-optation for establishing new interorganizational linkages are discussed. As well, related issues such as power struggles, loss of autonomy, asymmetrical relationships, and conflicting loyalties are addressed and discussed. Questions for future research also are proposed.

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between psychological capital, psychological well-being and job satisfaction of teachers. The research is a descriptive study in relational screening model. The research model includes three variables; one independent variable (psychological capital) and other two dependent variables (job satisfaction and psychological well-being). In the structural model, job satisfaction variable may also be expressed as mediator variable. The study population consists of 12714 teachers working in official secondary schools in seven central districts in Ankara Province in 2017-2018 academic year. Sample of the population is selected by multi-stage sampling method. Stratified sampling method is used in the first stage and simple random sampling method is used in the second stage. Sample size is calculated as at least 384 teachers. In the research, Psychological Capital Scale developed by Luthans, Youssef & Avolio (2007b); Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire developed by Weiss, Dawis, Lofquist & England (1967) and Psychological Well-Being Scale developed by Ryff (1989) were used as data collection tools. Scales which are pre-implemented within the scope of the research yielded valid and reliable results. Data analysis was done with SPSS 23.0 and LISREL 8.87 statistics software packages. According to the results obtained from the research, it was determined that teachers’ psychological capital perception was “good” and their job satisfaction and psychological well-being are “high”. According to the results of the analysis by means of structural equality modelling, it was determined that teachers’ psychological capital perception affects their job satisfaction and psychological well-being levels positively and predicts them significantly; and it was also determined that job satisfaction has a partial mediator role in the relationship between teachers’ psychological capital perception and their psychological well-being.

However, the most significant characteristics that affect the level of their job satisfaction were income, nationality and gender. The outcome of this study can be used by policy makers to develop recruitment and promotion policies. This would assist in achieving high levels of job satisfaction and will have positive effect on the academic process and the higher education system at large. This is the first study that used MSQ to explore job satisfaction among academicians who work for eight business colleges in Kuwait. The outcome of the study is expected to help decision makers in enhancing the level of the academicians' job satisfaction.
