Cellular vehicle-to-everything- (C-V2X-) based communications can support various content-oriented applications and have gained significant progress in recent years. However, the limited backhaul bandwidth and dynamic topology make it difficult to obtain the multimedia service with high-reliability and low-latency communication in C-V2X networks, which may degrade the quality of experience (QoE). In this paper, we propose a novel cluster-based cooperative cache deployment and coded delivery strategy for C-V2X networks to improve the cache hit ratio and response time, reduce the request-response delay, and improve the bandwidth efficiency. To begin with, we design an effective vehicle cluster method. Based on the constructed cluster, we propose a two-level cooperative cache deployment approach to cache the frequently requested files on the edge nodes, LTE evolved NodeB (eNodeB) and cluster head (CH), to maximize the overall cache hit ratio. Furthermore, we propose an effective coded delivery strategy to minimize the network load and the ratio of redundant files. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed method can effectively reduce the average response delay and network load and improve both the hit ratio and the ratio of redundant files.

ABSTRACT The issue of this article concerned the discussion about tools frequently used tools for assessing neuropsychiatric symptoms of patients with dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease. The aims were to discuss the main tools for evaluating behavioral disturbances, and particularly the accuracy of the Neuropsychiatric Inventory - Clinician Rating Scale (NPI-C). The clinical approach to and diagnosis of neuropsychiatric syndromes in dementia require suitable accuracy. Advances in the recognition and early accurate diagnosis of psychopathological symptoms help guide appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. In addition, recommended standardized and validated measurements contribute to both scientific research and clinical practice. Emotional distress, caregiver burden, and cognitive impairment often experienced by elderly caregivers, may affect the quality of caregiver reports. The clinician rating approach helps attenuate these misinterpretations. In this scenario, the NPI-C is a promising and versatile tool for assessing neuropsychiatric syndromes in dementia, offering good accuracy and high reliability, mainly based on the diagnostic impression of the clinician. This tool can provide both strategies: a comprehensive assessment of neuropsychiatric symptoms in dementia or the investigation of specific psychopathological syndromes such as agitation, depression, anxiety, apathy, sleep disorders, and aberrant motor disorders, among others.

<p>A unified catalogue containing 290 tsunamis generated in the European and Mediterranean seas since 6150 B.C. to current days is presented. It is the result of a systematic and detailed review of all the regional catalogues available in literature covering the study area, each of them having their own format and level of accuracy. The realization of a single catalogue covering a so wide area and involving several countries was a complex task that posed a series of challenges, being the standardization and the quality of the data the most demanding. A “reliability” value was used to rate equally the quality of the data for each event and this parameter was assigned based on the trustworthiness of the information related to the generating cause, the tsunami description accuracy and also on the availability of coeval bibliographical sources. Following these criteria we included in the catalogue events whose reliability ranges from 0 (“very improbable tsunami”) to 4 (“definite tsunami”). About 900 documentary sources, including historical documents, books, scientific reports, newspapers and previous catalogues, support the tsunami data and descriptions gathered in this catalogue. As a result, in the present paper a list of the 290 tsunamis with their main parameters is reported. The online version of the catalogue, available at http://roma2.rm.ingv.it/en/facilities/data_bases/52/catalogue_of_the_euro-mediterranean_tsunamis, provides additional information such as detailed descriptions, pictures, etc. and the complete list of bibliographical sources. Most of the included events have a high reliability value (3= “probable” and 4= “definite”) which makes the Euro-Mediterranean Tsunami Catalogue an essential tool for the implementation of tsunami hazard and risk assessment.</p>

Breeding takes the main place in the complex of measures for intensification of dairy cattle breeding. A characteristic feature of breeding work is identification of the most valuable genotypes and their further use in cattle population. The Holstein breed is considered one of the most highly productive breeds, in many countries of the world it is used for the genetic improvement of local breeds. In this regard, a comparative assessment of methods for determining the breeding value of bulls of different genotypes obtained by interbreeding is relevant. The results of assessment of genetic superiority of the used breeding bulls in terms of milk productivity of daughters for the first lactation through interannual deviations of the homogeneous peers are presented, the best producers in all the studied herds are identified, it is established which breeds the best and worst breeding bulls belong to. The research revealed that 18% of bulls had genetic superiority at controlled farms (9% - Holstein breed, 6% - Yaroslavl crossbreeding bulls, 3% - Mikhailovsky type’s bulls), a negative value - 24% including 9% - Yaroslavl crossbreeding bulls, 9% - Mikhailovsky type’s bulls and 6% - Holstein bulls. A comparative evaluation of the two methods showed a high reliable positive correlation between results of Mikhailovsky type bulls and Yaroslavl crossbreeding bulls equal to 0.82 and 0.56, respectively, which indicates a high reliability of the method of genetic superiority index, which can be used to evaluate bulls during crossbreeding. It is possible to increase the genetic potential of herds by excluding producers with a negative genetic index. The obtained results are recommended to be used when mating bulls and for development of breeding programs for individual herds or entire population

Metal 3D printing is one of the fastest growing additive manufacturing (AM) technologies in recent years. Despite the improvements and capabilities, reliable metal printing is still not well understood. One of the barriers of industrialization of metal AM is process monitoring and quality assurance of the printed product. These barriers are especially much highlighted in aerospace and medical device manufacturing industries where the high reliability and quality is needed. Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is one of the main metal 3D printing methods where it is known that more than 50 parameters are affecting the quality of the print. However, the current SLM printing process barely utilize a fraction of the collected data during production. Up to this point, no study to the best of our knowledge examines the correlation of factors affecting the quality of the print. After reviewing the current state of the art of process monitoring for metal AM involving SLM, we propose a method to control the process of the print in each layer and prevent the defects using data-driven techniques. A numerical study using simulated numbers is provided to demonstrate how the proposed method can be implemented.

In Internet of things and its relevant technologies the routing of data plays one of the major roles. In this paper, a routing algorithm is presented for the networks consisting of smart objects, so that the Internet of Things and its enabling technologies can provide high reliability while the transmitting the data. The proposed technique executes in two stages. In first stage, the sensor nodes are clustered and an optimal cluster head is selected by using k-means clustering algorithm. The clustering is performed based on energy of sensor nodes. Then the energy cost of the cluster head and the trust level of the sensor nodes are determined. At second stage, an optimal path will be selected by using the Genetic Algorithm (GA). The genetic algorithm is based on the energy cost at cluster head, trust level at sensor nodes and path length. The resultant optimal path provides high reliability, better speed and more lifetimes.

Abstract A special type of Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) which has frequent changes of topology and higher mobility is known as Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). In order to divide the network into groups of mobile vehicles and improve routing, data gathering, clustering is applied in VANETs. A stable clustering scheme based on adaptive multiple metric combining both the features of static and dynamic clustering methods is proposed in this work. Based on a new multiple metric method, a cluster head is selected among the cluster members which is taken from the mobility metrics such as position and time to leave the road segment, relative speed and Quality of Service metrics which includes neighborhood degree, link quality of the RSU and bandwidth. A higher QoS and cluster stability are achieved through the adaptive multiple metric. The results are simulated using NS2 and shows that this technique provides more stable cluster structured with the other methods.

Summary Objectives: The German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology implemented a field test for the ICD-11 Beta Draft. Aim was to analyze completeness and appropriateness of the ICD-11 Beta Draft in its entire breadth. Methods: Starting point was the synonym thesaurus (“Alphabet”) of the German modification of ICD-10. The Alphabet included a list of diagnoses terms that supports the coding of diagnoses with ICD-10. A sample of 60,328 diagnosis terms was drawn to be mapped to the ICD-11 Beta Draft. A subsample of 13,975 diagnosis terms was prepared for assessing reliability. First, the coders had to assign a diagnosis term from the sample to an appropriate English one. This included the automatic selection of the respective code from the ICD-11 Beta Draft. Secondly, the coders had to answer questions regarding completeness, appropriateness, and other issues. Results: Finally, 49,184 results from 36 coders were available for the analysis. Problems with completeness were indicated in 4.7% of the results, problems with appropriateness in 5.3%. On the level of chapters, Cohen’s kappa reached grade “fair” at a maximum. The coders agreed in 31.4% of the terms. Conclusions: Problems with the ICD-11 Beta Draft appeared to be moderate. Completeness was high, reliability was low as it is known for ICD-10. Concerns with the structure of the ICD-11 Beta Draft were noted, e. g. for neoplasms. A post processing of the ICD-11 Beta Draft seems to be sufficient with regard to the content. Methodologically, a thorough review of the structure might be advisable.

Cloud computing is a high computational distributed environment with high reliability and quality of service. It is playing an important role in the next generation of computing with pay per use model and high elasticity. With increased requirement for cloud resources, load over the cloud servers has increased, which makes cloud use a more efficient algorithm to maintain its performance and quality of service to users. The performance metrics that define the performance of task scheduling include execution time, finish time, scheduling time, task completion cost, and load balancing on each computing resources. So, to overcome existing solutions and provide better QoS performance, a neural-network-based GA-ANN scheduling algorithm is proposed in this paper, which outperforms the existing solutions. To simulate the proposed GA-ANN model, cloudsim3.0 toolkit is used, and the performance is evaluated by comparing simulation time, average start time, average finish time, execution time, and utilization percentage of computing resources (VMs).

In the recent time, the huge expansion in the application of the real-time applications for smartphones resulted in new difficulties when it is time to develop new protocols for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETS). Most important within these difficulties is to activate real-time applications for mobile ad-hoc networks which includes quality of service (QoS) support, like bandwidth constraints and stability issues. Adding to this of course the reliability of the nodes as an important factor that has a direct effect on the network performance and data integrity. In this paper we will discussed the QoS main issue that affect several factors in the mobile ad hoc networks, which is the reliability. Because of the fact that the reliability and the availability of the nodes can be interacted made me use both the terms throughout the paper. we will suggest the efficient multi-path Quality of service routing (EMQR), (EMQR) as a QoS guarantee for the stability and reliability issues in the network. Next, we will discuss the availability issues as a QoS guarantee and for this we will suggest the best suitable protocol which is “an efficient warning energy aware Cluster head” WEAC as a solution to the availability issue. The two protocols will guarantee the availability and the reliability in MANETs as it is the new direction for routing algorithms design and it is a way to enhance the availability by controlling the Cluster head based on its power level as a metric for availability as in WEAC protocol and the reliability by increasing the reserved bandwidth for the route as mentioned in EMQR protocol.
