<p>As the rapid growth of multimedia application over the Internet, it is essential to preserve the Quality of Service (QoS), which is certifying the guaranteed service through the Internet and representing the biggest challenges for the current IP based services. Multimedia traffic usage has been increased in relation to the streaming media such as video conferencing using OPNET, the performance can be simulated based on heavy and light scenarios for video conferencing including web traffic. The overall WLAN load data are obtained for such scenarios, also the performance of simulated overall Delay in the three scenario networks is measured<strong><em>.</em></strong></p>

<div>Number of embedded devices connected to the Internet is rapidly increasing, especially in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT). The growing number of IoT devices communicating wirelessly causes a communication-parameters selection problem, implying the increasing number of communication collisions. Multiple factors of IoT networks signify this problem, such as inability to communication-channel listening prior to the transmission (due to longer distances), energy constrains (due to inability of powering devices from the grid), or limitation of duty cycle and high interference (due to usage of unlicensed band in communication technologies). This article is focused on alleviating this problem in LoRa networks, which is one of the most promising technology for long-range and low-power</div><div>communication. We utilize the existing LoRa@FIIT protocol to achieve energy-efficient communication. The scalability of the LoRa network is increased by modifying the communication-parameters selection algorithm. By ensuring of quality of service mechanism at each node in the infrastructure, the application domain of the proposed architecture is widened. The simulation-based experimental results showed a significantly reduced number of collisions for mobile nodes, which reduces the channel congestion and the wasted energy by retransmissions.</div>

Purpose The aim of this research forum article was to describe a feasible web-based solution for improving the quality of life of persons with hearing problems, such as hearing loss or tinnitus. The online platform was developed at the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning at Linköping University, Sweden, and has been running for a number of years and used in numerous studies and treatments. Method The security aspects of the platform as well as the process flow for running a study or treatment are described, focusing primarily on the technical and practical considerations. Also presented are the design characteristics and the main features and functions available in the platform. Results We point out the many advantages of running Internet-assisted intervention treatments, the challenges that we have faced, and some intended developments. Many of our research colleagues, both from Sweden and other countries, have already implemented or intend to implement their own studies on this platform. Conclusions Audiological rehabilitation can be delivered via the Internet using a stable online platform. Security and usability are important factors to have in mind for the design as well as adaptability to the patients. A next development step is to implement and test blended treatments using video conferencing inside the platform.

World Wide Web traffic increases at exponential rates saturating network links and web servers. By replicating popular web pages in strategic places on the Internet, web caching reduces core network traffic, reduces web server load, and improves the end-users’ perceived quality of service. In this paper we survey the area of web caching. We identify major research challenges and their solutions, as well as several commercial products that are being widely used.

A modern and free technology called web real-time communication (WebRTC) was enhanced to allow browser-to-browser multimedia communication without plugins. In contract, WebRTC has not categorised a specific signalling mechanism to set, establish and end communication between browsers. The primary target of this application is to produce and implement a novel WebRTC signalling mechanism for multimedia communication between different users over the Internet without plugins. Furthermore, it has been applied over different browsers, such as Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera without any downloading or fees. This application designed using JavaScript language under ASP.net and C# language. Moreover, to prevent irrelevant users from accessing or attacking the session, user-id for initiating and joining the course using encryption technique was done. This system has been employed in real implementation among various users; therefore, an evaluation of bandwidth consumption, CPU, and quality of experience (QoE) was accomplished. The results show an original signalling mechanism which applied to different browsers, multiple users, and diverse networks such as Ethernet and Wireless. Besides, it sets session initiator, saves the communication efficient even if the initiator leaves, and communicating new participator with existing participants, etc. This studying focuses on the creation of a new signalling mechanism, the limitations of resources for WebRTC video conferencing.

In education, for educational instruments scientific writing is a very important thing. It requires an information management skill, information management is a library search, which can be done through a computer and guided by the internet. It can also be through the quality of reading used as a reference for scientific writing. In addition, in producing a paper also must know the management of writing, not only required to pay attention to the rules of standard language, but also must be able to convey ideas and ideas well and meet scientific criteria, such as making a quote or reference list used. This paper was written with the aim of improving the quality of research through reading material, making notes and avoiding plagiarism, references using the Harvard system for journals, books, and articles. Management of citing articles either CD or internet, writing, editing, storing references electronically, writing bibliography, and quotations.

In this paper, the linear regression model using ANN and the linear regression model using MS Excel were developed to estimate the physico-chemical concentrations in groundwater using pH, EC, TDS, TH, HCO3 as input parameters and Ca, Mg and K as output parameters. A comparison was made which indicated that ANN model had the better ability to estimate the physic-chemical concentrations in groundwater. An analytical survey along with simulation based tests for finding the climatic change and its effect on agriculture and water bodies in Angul-Talcher area is done. The various seasonal parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TDS,TSS along with heavy elements like Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn concentration in water resources has been analyzed. For past 30 years rainfall data has been analyzed and water quality index values has been studied to find normal and abnormal quality of water resources and matlab based simulation has been done for performance analysis. All results has been analyzed and it is found that the condition is stable.

Political conversation is at the heart of democratic societies, and it is an important precursor of political engagement. As society has become intertwined with the communication infrastructure of the Internet, we need to understand its uses and the implications of those uses for democracy. This chapter provides an overview of the core topics of scholarly concern around online citizen deliberation, focusing on three key areas of research: the standards of quality of communication and the normative stance on citizen deliberation online; the impact and importance of digital platforms in structuring political talk; and the differences between formal and informal political talk spaces. After providing a critical review of these three major areas of research, we outline directions for future research on online citizen deliberation.
