Sample was taken randomly, with 60 students were devided into two groups, 30 students were taken as control class while another 30 students as experimental class. By using a reading text as the instrument of the research, the researcher found that suggestopedia method was proven to be effective with the average pre-test control class was 38,6 and post-test control class was 53,3. The average pre-test in the experimental class was 46 and post-test experimental class was 90,8. The value of t-test higher than the value of t-table was (20,41>2,001) which means that suggestopedia method makes learning process more interesting and more effective for senior high school students.

This research is a research and development (R&D) study with the ASSURE model consisting of 6 stages, including analyzing learners-state objectives; select method; media and materials; utilize media and materials; require participant learner; evaluate and revise. The subjects of the study were XI grade senior high school students in Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. The results showed that the EPUB3-based mathematical E-module was valid and reliable for use in the learning process according to the results of expert validation, with an average value of 3.77 and included in good categories. Furthermore, EPUB3-based Mathematics E-Modules are used in the online learning process, especially in statistical material. Student respondent test results showed that 58% of students felt helped in understanding the material using the EPUB3-based Mathematics E-Modules during online learning. Students more easily learn the material anywhere and anytime and also can test the ability related to statistical material directly on the E-Module to get the final result whether it meets the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or not. The EPUB3-based Math E-Modules using the SIGIL application is proven to be valid and effective in helping students and teachers carry out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The students are the best witnesses to how the teachers perform their instructional duties. Students develop particular expectations to teaching style preferences. This study investigates the students’ self-assessments of their teaching style preferences against their observed teaching styles that their year level teachers have used and determined the relevance of Teeters’ (2001) teaching style model. Teeters’ (2001) instructor style inventory was used to collect data from 114 high school students of an academy in Valencia, Bukidnon, Philippines. Results revealed that the students highly preferred all the teaching styles. Students in different year levels also rated their teachers’ safe, stimulating, spontaneous, and systematic teaching styles moderate and high. Significant differences in all the students’ observed teaching styles were found between the year levels. Teaching styles with “no difference” and “there is difference” depend on the year levels. School administrators and teachers in this academy may consider the viability of Teeters’ teaching style model in their teaching-learning processes. Keywords: Education, teaching styles, teaching-learning process, Teeter’s teaching stylemodel, Bukidnon, Philippines

The use of plastic is widely known in everyday life, with a variety of advantages (light but strong, transparent, waterproof, low price). But besides having advantages, conventional plastics also have disadvantages, namely that they are difficult to decompose and pollute the environment when they burn. The need to reduce the use of conventional plastics and replace them with the use of bioplastics in the community is still often socialized, one of which is to students at SMA Nasional Malang. The aim of training and socializing environmentally friendly bioplastics is so that students can reduce the use of conventional plastics and switch to using environmentally friendly products, as well as being able to make bioplastic products. The result of the bioplastic making training is that students are able to make eating and drinking utensils made from bioplastics with various models they like. Through socialization, students began to change their lifestyle by reducing the use of conventional plastics and switching to using environmentally friendly products. To better understand the dangers of conventional plastics to the environment, students compared the biodegradability of conventional plastics and bioplastics. The result is that bioplastics break down faster than conventional plastics. Knowledge of bioplastics and their raw materials is new to them. From the questionnaire, it was found that Malang National Senior High School students were very interested in the training provided, some wanted to make various bioplastic product creations independently and hoped that there would be other training to help students develop their knowledge and creativity.

Learning media have an important role in the teaching and learning process, because it makes the delivery of material in the learning process easier. One example of learning media is interactive multimedia based on scientific literacy. The main focus in the study of scientific literacy is the understanding of science which includes an understanding of nature through the mastery of basic science such as chemistry, biology and physics. So that interactive multimedia based on scientific literacy is very suitable in science learning. In this journal it was revealed about interactive learning media in the form of interactive videos of high school biology material based on the context of rice. In this journal the content of biology material from high schools is stated in the context of rice. The research methodology used is the waterfall method. Where after the authors analyze the content of High School Biology Material in accordance with the context of rice, then it is applied to the interactive multimedia created, and conduct interactive multimedia testing of high school students. After the usability test was conducted, the results were obtained that the interactive multimedia made could be well received and attracted the interest of most high school students who were correspondents.
