Modern information technology is more and more widely used in school physical education. At the same time, the application of multimedia technology is becoming more and more extensive in education. As a teaching method, multimedia has developed into an important component of modern educational technology and science, and also provides support for teaching reform. The use of multimedia organization teaching can make up for the shortcomings of traditional physical education, promote the development of physical education, cultivate students' lifelong sports awareness and enhance physical fitness. Physical education is an important component of modern education, and its reform is also the trend of the times. According to the characteristics of the ordinary group of college table tennis, exploring the use of multimedia teaching platform can make the table tennis class more vivid and interesting, let students master some basic skills and skills of table tennis in a short period of time, understand and experience table tennis. The competition process enhances student interest and serves lifelong sports.

Through adopting many research methods, such as literature, experimentation, questionnairesand mathematical statistics method, this study explores the effect of sports multimedia teaching on stimulating the college students’ sports motivation, makes comparison between multimedia teaching and traditional teaching in the EC course teaching, and makes use of sports motivation scale to make measurement. The research result shows that the sports motivation level of the students in the experimental class who are adopted multimedia teaching method to teach is significantly improved, and has significant difference with the control group who are adopted the traditional teaching approach. In physical education, the adoption of multi-media teaching can motivate and improve the sports motivation of the students, so the multimedia communication materials should be promoted in physical education.

Background. The somatic features of the athletes’ bodies partially determine their sporting level and are conditioned to a large extent by the state of nutrition. Objective. The aim of this paper is to present nutritional status and its correlation with the somatic determinants of training athletes and physical education students. Material and methods. This study involved 12 weightlifting players (subgroup-WL), 15 soccer players (subgroup-SP), 12 table tennis players (subgroup-TT) and 12 female students of physical education (subgroup-C). In all subjects, the age and somatic variables were recorded and the daily intake of energy, water, proteins, fats and carbohydrates was determined by 24-h dietary recalls. Results. Although the analysis of variance did not show significant differences in somatic variables and nutrition data, post hoc analysis showed significant differences between some subgroups in terms of age, BMI, fat content (BF), fat-free mass (FFM) and the amount of water, protein and carbohydrates consumed during the day. It was also shown that somatic variables correlated with relatively expressed amounts of energy, proteins and carbohydrates consumed in individual subgroups, as well as in the whole group formed from all subgroups of studied women. In addition, there were significant correlations between somatic variables and the total amount of water consumed in the whole group and the total amount of protein consumed in subgroup C (p<0.05), as well as the total amount of fat consumed in subgroup WL. Conclusions. In summary, it was found that the examined women used an abnormal hypoenergetic diet with too low carbohydrate content in which were more useful relative than absolute amounts of consumed proteins, fats and carbohydrates. In this unfavorable situation, dietary education of the respondents seems to be necessary.

rapid development of multimedia teaching technology makes modern teaching forms more and more diversified. Especially in recent years, mutual integration of some new technologies and multimedia technology has improved diversity of multimedia teaching ecological system. Based on the above background, this paper designed a multimedia teaching system based on inductive technology. This system takes SCM, CAN bus and sensor technology as the core and forms a full set of intelligent and inductive multimedia teaching platform through construction of peripheral circuit. This paper adopted experiment teaching method to study the application of this system in the course of Introduction to Physical Education. The results verify that, this system has a significant effect on improving students’ learning interest, active thinking ability, generalization and summarization ability, and examination scores, so it can be further promoted in other courses of college PE specialty.
