Marketing theory on exchanges is dominated by market/nonmarket exchanges and their hybrid versions. However, unlike these relatively more secular exchanges, little is known about religious exchanges or “gifts-to-gods” in marketing theory, in spite of evidence to indicate its overwhelming presence around the world. Using the context of a Pentecostal consumption field, this article examines three forms of religious exchanges—exchange with the church (institution), exchange among church members (communal pooling), and exchange with God (sacred) and how they influence the consumption of religion in this context. Instead of market/nonmarket economic systems, the article advances a divine economic system—a system of exchanges governed by divine agents (gods, spirits, saints), which centralizes and legitimizes these religious exchanges. This article extends marketing theory on exchanges, reciprocity, and the consumption and marketization of religion.

Mission in the church: A case study Based on an enquiry into mission interest in the NG Church. Although there can be no doubt that mission is the essential task to which God called the church into being, to be his witness in the world, the empirical church often shows very little awareness of this. This article relates some results of research done in the Dutch Reformed Church in the Republic of South Africa on the church members’ interest in and involvement with mission. Some of the significant factors influencing the missionary interest of the members were (a) their personal spirituality and activities within the church, (b) their political leanings, and (c) the missionary preaching and enthusiasm of the ministers. A few aspects of the ministry are highlighted as worthy of attention.

This study was carried out to analyze the symptoms that arose at the time of the covid pandemic 19. The covid pandemic 19 caused an extraordinary crisis that shook social, political and economic life. Millions of people have been exposed and hundreds of thousands lost their lives. This caused panic, stress and frustration and in the lives of many people the church members were no exception. At the same time, there is a polarization in theological schools that are present in addressing this condition. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and literature analysis. The conclusion obtained that theological schools of thought is a reality that can not be nullified because it is the same age as Christianity itself. Therefore, what is urgent to do is a concerted effort to take concrete steps in dealing with this extraordinary crisis. And also the existence of a new theological effort in the midst of the enactment of "New Normal", because theology itself is the answer to the problems that occur in the middle of the world.

The dynamics of the development of economic systems is characterized by the evolution of institutions, of the resources used, of the applied technologies, of the relations between the subjects of the economic activity and other associated transformations. The current period is characterized by a series of changes that affect all components of the global economic system: digital transformation, climate change, systemic crises of state administrations, economic crises, global pandemic, etc. It is clear that these changes will shape a new economic system. The current task of the main actors in this process is to assign to this new system a series of characteristics that will not be random, but controllable, desired and accepted by all stakeholders

In the charismatic culture of the True Jesus Church in contemporary China, extraordinary occurrences are expected within the mundane circumstances of modern life. The church community’s claimed access to miraculous power strengthens the legitimacy of church ideology and church government. These charismatic experiences, often framed in reference to the Bible, inject vitality into church members’ shared life and the organizational structures holding them together. At the same time, church leaders attempt to carefully define and regulate charismatic experience in order to preserve community norms and maintain optimal levels of tension with surrounding society. At the level of individual practice, the church’s emphasis on Christian separation from the world results not in withdrawal, but in engagement with nearly every aspect of everyday life.

The activity of any socio-economic system is associated with the instability of the external environment and the presence of negative factors influencing its functioning, which, in turn, can provoke the emergence of crisis phenomena, slows down the process of development of the organization and makes it less effective. The prerequisites for this may be factors that are formed not only in the external, but also in the internal environment. This issue is of particular relevance today, in the context of the existence of the consequences of the pandemic in the world. Many years of experience in the activity of socio-economic systems in a market environment shows that this problem remains relevant to them even now in today's postmodern world. Successful overcoming of crisis situations depends on the effectiveness of anti-crisis management and management of anti-crisis potential, the type of crisis. After all, each crisis situation, which is formed under the influence of specific factors, has a clear characteristic and belongs to a certain category. With this information, you can form a clear plan of management actions to effectively overcome the crisis in socio-economic systems. But in order to determine what types of crises affect the activities of socio-economic systems, it is first of all necessary to determine the types of crises in socio-economic systems. The article analyzes the main features of the functioning of today's socio-economic system and the impact of such post-pandemic consequences on it.

<p>The article proposes an algorithm to qualitatively determine the dynamic state of an<br />economic system. The base data for the algorithm are the current values of the parameter that<br />describes the deviation of the system from equilibrium. The method of phase planes is<br />partially used. The interpolation of the statistical data of the system parameter as a function of<br />time, as well as the parametric definition of the forces that act on the system, allows for the<br />determination of its potential functions and points of equilibrium. The characteristics of the<br />points of equilibrium, namely their extrema type, determine the areas of the systems stability<br />and instability. The use of standard computer programs allows for the analytical and graphical<br />(by analysing the form of the potential function) determination of the dynamic stability of a<br />system, by looking at the current parameters of the system. A demonstration of the algorithm<br />is given in an example.</p>

This paper formally characterizes the elementary economic systems of material agent societies, on the bases of the notions of (individual and group) elementary economic behavior, elementary economic exchange and elementary economic process. The equilibrium of an elementary economic system is defined in terms of the equilibrium of the set of group elementary economic processes that constitute such system. A case study illustrates the proposed concepts.

After the Second World War, the world was practically divided into two competing economic systems, capitalism and socialism. This ideological competition extended to the socio-political realm, and became the basis of the cold wars from the late 1940s to early 1990s. The events in Russia in the early to mid-20th century presented socialism as a real contender, if not a complete alternative to capitalism. With its increasing influence in many countries, not just in Russia’s neighbourhood but also in the continents far across, socialism emerged as the dominant thought, leading to what became to be referred to as the socialist bloc. But then came the collapse of the USSR in early 1990s and the whole socialist thought came to be questioned. In socialist China, introduction of reforms with a capitalist bent further questioned the practicability and success of socialism, while reforms in the Indian economic system encouraged the proponents of capitalism to declare victory. Adoption of capitalist ideals by purely or quasi-socialist countries stamped the superiority of capitalism.
